“There are many sugary drink shops in El Segundo masquerading as coffee places. If you order a cup of black coffee at those places it will taste bitter and gross.
Bar Nine on the other hand has actually good coffee with good beans, plenty of free parking, and it's peaceful there.“

“This place is amazing. The store owner/ worker was so so nice when we came in and fast (we were in hurry). He even threw in some donut holes for free. Prices are reasonable and donuts tasty. Will come back anytime I am remotely close. Please come here!“
“This is my home base Whole Foods where I pick up most of my vegan goods. It’s a pretty decent sized store with a juice bar, coffee bar, Asian kitchen and hot food/salad bar. There is a wine bar inside with a food to order menu. It’s just a nice store throughout. And like all Whole Foods, it’s stocked with your favorite vegan groceries. “In terms of location and atmosphere, it is my top 5 Starbucks I have been so far.But after COVID fades away, I started noticing this Starbucks store’s music changed to more clubbing genre and louder. Today, I finally used my Apple watch to measure how loud the music is, which showed around 40-45 decibels. I was sitting at the far corner, away from cashier. I could not too focus on reading my book.I don't know if it is Starbucks policy to broadcast louder, pop music. I have not heard holiday music yet today. I feel the 3 ladies talking were "fighting" with the background music. I sent my feedback to Starbucks to clarify if it is their policy to broadcast a particular kind of music.Thank you.“
