“This was our first time here. The service was fantastic. We got here for happy hour. The cost of the drinks was a selling point. Got the coconut shrimp for a starter. Very good. I had the chimichurri steak and fries. The chimichurri was a bit spicy but very good. My husband had the lomo saltado made with filet mignon. Both dishes were excellent. The restaurant was comfortable but maybe a little loud. Okay for me but my husband has me repeat myself. I'm used to that. We will be back. Definitely hit the spot.“
“This was my first Michelin star restaurant that I have experienced that I heard about from Tik Tok. It lived up to the hype. I recommend going early or after lunch as it packed during lunch time. The line is out the door. The food is delicious and I would recommend to any seafood lover. The prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food in each dish. If you are the the downtown area it definitely a must try. It right next door to the DMV so it not a lot of parking so you have to drive around to a spot open up if you go during lunch time. It is loud in there as it is a food hall with about 6 other restaurants in the same building. It is still a good experience and worth giving a try.“
“I showed up late so I didn't get to try everything, but the shrimp dumplings were a joy! It's dark as hell in there so if you're over 30, take a seeing-eye friend as your dining companion. Gorgeous, decor and the music finished out the mood. The parking garage that offers valet is just steps away, so don't let the location deter you. Great choice for a date.“
“This Mercado has so much to offer. Your pallet will not be disappointed with the many different restaurants you'll fine in here from some of the best see food to Oxacan food. Artesanias de Mexico are one thing you'll be thrill to find here.“
“It was my first time here celebrating my daughter's birthday It was an Excellent Experience the food was delicious and the service was so friendly and respectful. The atmosphere was very nice I will go back and recommend to my family and friends ? I almost forgot that the Cheff was amazing !!“
“Today my husband and I, visiting from Florida, took a walk in hopes of finding lunch while our Los Angeles daughter continued her work day from home. What a find! We stumbled across Three Borders Grill. My husband ordered a Tronnquito and after explaining that I'm a vegetable and either chicken, beef, or fish eater, #37 was recommended minus the black beans and rice. OMG does not describe the deliciousness of what was put in front of me. Everything was garden fresh, including red, yellow, and orange peppers, brocolli, asparagus, and a large amount of chicken. We both were amazed at the presentation and the flavor. We also had 2 all-natural drinks with our meal. Mine was orange based and my husband's was pineapple. Very refreshing with no sugar added. Then, they prepared a fried banana for us to share, but without the sugar they usually add. I can't recall a more satisfying dining experience and we just stumbled across this gem. We chatted with the owner and she shared the meaning of her three-border concept and her love of using very fresh and natural ingredients. We were so impressed that we asked if she'd pose with us for a photo. Absolutely made my day!“
“Ambiance and flavors are top-notch! I recently "discovered" this local restaurant and was SO impressed. The outdoor dining patio is encapsulated from the street noise and the restaurant transports you to a feeling of fine dining without hurting your wallet. The food is so darn flavorful; you can't go wrong with just the shareable pizzas, but be sure to try the main dishes. My wife loves the Mango Chicken and I'm a fan of the Cancun Steak. For dessert, the coconut flan is fantastic, but I will knock over a small child to get more of the Apple Tart Tatin with its caramelized fruit in butter and sugar. The bar is also stocked with top-shelf spirits, and the mojitos are sweetened with actual sugar cane freshly crushed and squeezed right there at the bar. Whether its a date night, special occasion, or you just want to eat something delicious, this is the type of restaurant that is a local favorite and honestly, will becomes yours too.“
“I ordered the cha cha chicken with mild sauce and was quickly corrected by the cashier that I should get the “mixed,” so I could experience the flavor, and I’m glad I listened. It wasn’t overwhelmingly spicy and was yummy. The chicken was melting off the bone and in my mouth, incredible texture. The sides balanced the jerk chicken well and was the perfect serving size. I also got one veggie enchilada to try (especially having the mango sauce on it). It was spot-on satisfying. I asked for a to-go box right when I ordered, just knowing I couldn’t finish all the food. I finished all of it and returned the to-go box, it’s that amazing. I also got the watermelon agua fresca, it was extremely refreshing and not too sweet. Highly recommend trying this Caribbean restaurant that’s only a hop, skip, and a jump away from the beach. Sweet servers, nice atmosphere, and good outside seating area, too.“
“This is my first time trying Korean-Latin cuisine, which is so delicious! The owner suggested ordering the kalbi cheese fries which I'm glad that I ordered it! I got the rock combination plate and double cheeseburger as well! They have a self serve salad bar near the front which is convenient! The staff here so very friendly and it was a little empty at that time we came in so they were able to help us out! I loved how they put the posters around the store!“
“Service was amazing here, many servers are moving around making sure you are okay. I tried the watermelon lemonade and it was so refreshing and good. The steak quesadilla was quality, lots of texture and flavor. I had tried their Culver City location and it was great. This location is just as good!!“
“I really liked the food. It has a good flavor. Waitresses were very attentive and treated me with respect and these three things are the most important in choosing a restaurant. Of, course, cleanliness. You guys need music! but, the rest excellent! Thank you!“
“Found this cevichera hidden on a strip of Hispanic grocery stores and barber shops. Small and cozy. Reminds me of places in Puerto Vallarta. All of it fresh and lots of pride put into cleanliness and honest service. ** Cash only ** Had the ATM break down on me while dispensing money and they offered to cover missing money and take it up with the bank later. No one does that honest transaction anymore. No one... Speaks a lot for the integrity of the business.“
“A great breakfast & brunch find at Venice Beach - Outstanding, varied menu - try the Arizona Benedict on sweet corn bread with avocados and house-made hollandaise sauce, or the chicken and waffles! Fresh and flavorful! Exceptional service and fun place for outdoor breakfast.“
“Absolutely Great ! I'm new to Hawthorne and I couldn't find a good chicken at all' came here and was super impressed food was seasoned to perfection, all sides were nice sides and great with the green salsa ! Staff is really good as well!“
“Some delicious Mexican food served up here. I got the Dos enchiladas with the red sauce and Carne Asada. I really enjoyed the flavor and I had enough food for leftovers. They have really good happy hour special during the weekdays from 2 to 6 PM it is a very lively atmosphere. I love the inside decor.“
“The best grilled chicken smoked like a barbecue grill in town this is a must try must eatVegetarian options: Other vegetarian options are planting salad rice beansKid-friendliness: Kid friendly fries also plantainsWheelchair accessibility: Double door accessible for wheelchair“
“The restaurant has a unique decor. It feels like a place in some island in the Pacific. The food is excellent from a chef who has traveled the world and found the best recipes from many different countries. There is a lounge/bar in the back for drinks that is convenient and very comfortable. The servers are efficient and knowledgeable about the various dishes“
“Hands down one of my favorite, simplest eats in the LA area. Small, no frills establishment but mighty in taste and consistent in quality and service when I go to get my fire roasted chicken. The chicken held me down for two months as I was in LA work and needed a protein source to use for meal prep. I definitely recommend this spot if you’re a purveyor of rotisserie style chicken with lots of flavor. Great price point too“
“Cerveteca is a hidden gem for taco aficionados, seamlessly blending traditional flavors with a modern twist. Upon entering, the vibrant decor and welcoming atmosphere promise an authentic culinary experience, which Cerveteca undoubtedly delivers. The star of my visit was the Carnitas tacos. Each bite was a symphony of succulent pork, perfectly seasoned, and cradled by homemade tortillas that were both tender and flavorful. It was one of those rare dining moments when you wish you had ordered more, not because of portion size, but because the experience was so delightful.Accompanying my meal, the horchata was a revelation—creamy, perfectly sweet, and infused with just the right amount of cinnamon. It was refreshingly authentic, serving as the perfect palate cleanser between bites of the rich, savory tacos. No visit to Cerveteca would be complete without indulging in their churros. These weren't just any churros; they were a dessert epiphany. Crispy on the outside, yet soft and airy inside, each piece was coated with a divine blend of sugar and cinnamon. Dipping them into the accompanying chocolate sauce was the culinary equivalent of a warm hug.In summary, Cerveteca is more than a taco shop; it's a celebration of Mexican cuisine, where every dish tells a story of tradition and passion. A must-visit for anyone looking to satisfy their cravings for authentic, mouthwatering Mexican fares.“
“My go to spot for delivery , I've only ate once inside but usually I order for delivery and they never miss ! I always get the chicken with fries and the amount of fries they give you is wonderful ! The taste of the chicken is very Smokey but it isn't overpowering the ají sauce I always order extra the spice level is great I'm use to spicy salsas , foods I enjoy the level of this ají sauce .“
“I ordered Half tray of chaufa for my sister in laws bday it was a HIT !!! So much food it was 20 of us and feed everyone and still had some left .. and the ambiance when we went to pick up was awesome live music on a Fridays and sat !! Thank you pollo Inka for making such delicious food .. btw also had the soup 10/10“
“This place is great. I have been going for a few years now and the food, the ladies that are there and the place itself are perfect. The owner has always been so nice to me and my family. I love the tacos and enchiladas and in the summer, I never leave the place without a raspado.“
“Definitely a little restaurant with delicious Guatemalan food. I'm picky with Guatemalan food as I lived there for a few years. They definitely serve delicious food, I lived in Guatemala for many years and I'm used to the chapin seasoning and this place has it.“
“We love Gloria's. The ambience is not what you come for! Service is very good and staff is super nice and friendly. We love the fundido and it is addictive! Guacamole is tangy and delicious. Chips are okay. The enchiladas, tacos, and the carnitas are to die for. Margaritas are refreshing and strong. We will definitely be back!“
“Pupusas here are deliciosas!!!!! Prices are reasonable, they take debit card with no extra charge so that’s a plus. I recommend calling in if you’re taking to go because it can take them up to 25 minutes… the parking is not good but the taste and price are worth it :)We always get pupusas revueltas…“
“This café truly adheres to a decent arrangement of guidelines technique on the most proficient method to deal with visitors or clients. I'm cheerful on the grounds that the waiters truly made us agreeable. I will certainly prescribe this café to everybody!“
“Yelp says this place closes at 9pm, but they actually close at 7pm. Pupusas are a must order. Friend said her bean and cheese pupusa was literally beans on one half and cheese on the other half. I guess it was flattened out the wrong way when cooking. I tried the reveulta and chicken, both are delicious with curtido and salsa (not spicy). Plantains are delicious, especially with the beans and cream. Fried yucca was good. Service is nice and accommodating. This place was not busy at all on a Sunday night. This is a great place to satisfy any pupusa craving.“
“It is not just another seafood place, it is the place to go to eat seafood, the service is very friendly and the cleanliness is visible throughout the place, fresh food that you can feel in your mouth, super affordable prices and great portions It could pass for a Michelin star place...“
“I absolutely love this place. I've been coming here for over 10 years and I've never been disappointed yet. If you are new to this place please start your order off with a baleada (not sure if thats how you spell it), You wont regret it. The horchata is amazing and my go to entree is the Fried pork chop dinner with casamientos rice and beans. If you're looking for authentic Hoduranian food, this is definitely your go to.“
“I have been eating these empanadas for years at the Mar Vista farmer's market, this time I got to get them at the restaurant always tasty, fair price , and excellent service!Vegetarian options: I love the margherita style empanada, mozzarella cheese, tomato and basilKid-friendliness: Empanadas are good size , kids can satisfy their hunger as they go , 1 or 2 empanadasWheelchair accessibility: The ordering window is at the curb level no stairs or elevator to order or get your food“
“I went to visit their location in Hawthorne for breakfast and then stop at the Lawndale location for bread. My breakfast was delicious The staff is super nice and friendly Very efficient and they know how to make great food The bread outstanding, amazing and delicious“
“This has been my go to restaurant whenever I need an authentic Guatemalan Pick me up. I’ve been going here for over 10 years, the food and flavor have not disappointed at all. I always get their tortilla with chorizo and beans but my dad has ordered the garnachas and other family members have ordered chow mein and caldos and everyone had been satisfied each and every time! So far I can say I will always recommend this place to anyone and everyone is SO DELICIOUS and worth it! Service can be a hit or miss and ambiance, well they always have music lol that’s a plus.“
“I went to eat here for the first time and I really liked the very crispy chicken and the very delicious potatoes and the very delicious pasta. I did like this place.Kid-friendliness: If with the care of parents it is a place to eat with the familyWheelchair accessibility: If suitable there is space“
“Wow!!! I randomly stumbled across this place because I was fed up w traffic (LA people know what I'm talking about). Pepper Steak w Fries was unbelievable! I've had my share of great steaks but I literally used my fork to cut it up. That speaks to the quality of the meat. Homemade tortillas were thick like a pita which blew me away. They soaked up that mushroom pepper sauce to perfection. Apparently this place is under new ownership and the Chef knows his $H!T...he came out talked to me and told me he has been here less than a year. I cant speak on the rest of the menu but what I ate was amazing! Beer and wine too. Ignore that Pico Blvd. traffic and treat yourself to a steak and beer. I rarely write reviews as you can see but this place deserved one. Enjoy“
“Small place but food is always good, my dad was going thru some health issue and he will always ask for food from this place staff was always friendly and knew who I was ordering food for every time I will put a phone order they will Always ask for my dad how was he doing. Thank you.“
“Nice clean market with South American snacks and sandwiches. They have a large variety of fresh meat. I got some snacks along with some sandwiches and empanada. Sandwiches are made with French style bread. The meat in the sandwiches were good. I'll definitely go back for the sandwiches and will get meat to cook at home. A patron said he always come here to buy meat to cook at home; they have really good meat. I really liked the chicken and potato empanada and the Lomo steak sandwich. The Argentina sausage reminds of me portuguese sausage, tasty.“
“While LA taco seems to rate this place pretty highly, this did not seem to be our experience here. The ingredients certainly look great on paper but execution was mediocre in terms of speed. They have a lot of online orders and seem to prioritize them before in-store customers. Flavor-wise everything seems pretty good.Service was rather slow. The atmosphere was pretty casual.“
“A hole in the wall near the Pico Union Project building that serves great Latin American food! The people and waitress were friendly, and accommodating, and their pupusas were to die for. Would definitely recommend to people that are near the area and support this small and cute restaurant!“
“This place a hole in the wall meaning that if you will literally miss this place if you are not careful. As soon as I walked in I realized that the restaurant was not to busy with customers but then realized as I waited that alot of the orders that they had pending or working on are pick up orders. That is exactly what I did, called in my order and it took around 40-50 min to be ready. I love the fact that you feel the authenticity with how the restaurant is runned by a few ladies and one gentleman doing all the heavy work. Reminds me of a family owned place where everyone puts in their part to make it run smoothly. I got home and the pupusas that I ordered taste delicious. I'm not a huge fan of cheese over powering my pupusas which I know most people are, and that's why I rate this a 5 star because everything was delicious other than that minor preference of mine. Highly recommend this place if you want some authentic pupusas.“
“This restaurant has some really good food! They make the pupusas fresh and the hand made tortillas. The breakfast platters are delicious and filling, you get a plate with plenty of food. One selection I didn't care too much for was the shrimp cocktail, I have never seen where a restaurant leaves the shrimp tail on the shrimp when it's in a cocktail. Also the amount of shrimp that the cocktail had was disappointing, the cocktail was loaded with way too much sauce and vegetables. This is the first restaurant that I have gotten a shrimp cocktail and I've been mad that I paid almost $20 for a small serving of shrimp. The service was "OK", we ate here 3 times and the servers can't seem to get the orders correct, even when they write out down because they're too busy gossiping, chit-chat ting, or watching TV.“
“Located inside my gym, which is very convenient for a post workout shake! Quick service and easy to order online via app. Always serves fresh food and delicious smoothies. A bit loud at times, but definitely giving coffee shop energy to do work at as well!“
