“I missed the drop off day for donating for the animals in need. Stopped by there this morning with a donation. Loved the greeting with a smile that I received when I walked in by the young man behind the counter. he was totally surprised when I handed him an envelope and explained that I had missed the drop off date. Now I know why this Cafe receives 5 stars, very friendly atmosphere. I will be back!!”

“Fantastic evening at Robin. The omakase restaurant had a hip, night clubby feel to it as the interior was dark with dance club music, but the sushi was definitely worthwhile. Erin and Abby provided friendly and efficient service, which contributed to the overall positive experience. Free parking lot next door makes it easy to find a parking space.”

What keeps us coming back is the service. Everyone there is super friendly, from the staff to the owner and manager. “Didn't want to eat the tried and tested Zareen's so I ended up here instead. Now this is good Street food! Authentic flavors, good spice level and warm service. The food prep time is definitely on the higher end, so definitely don't come here starved. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, but it was well worth it. Large portions and flavorful food.

“The ambience is Japanese minimalist. Baristas are friendly. But more importantly the coffee is just perfect. My fave coffee spot in San Mateo. There's always a line though and if you want to sit in, good luck. It's a small place with not a lot of seating.”

“The outdoor patio was perfect for our Sunday brunch and our 18th Anniversary. We’ve celebrated many occasions at All Spice and have always had a stellar experience with the staff and the food. Our table felt intimate — we were sharing a large space with four other tables, appropriately distanced. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Again, all Covid-19 compliant. The food, oh the food! The Dutch baby was perfectly cooked and the fruit fillings were gorgeous. The chicken sandwich was out of this world. The Mimosa and hard apple cider beverages were on point. We always love our meals at All Spice and this time was no exception. It’s a total gem!”
