“I missed the drop off day for donating for the animals in need. Stopped by there this morning with a donation. Loved the greeting with a smile that I received when I walked in by the young man behind the counter. he was totally surprised when I handed him an envelope and explained that I had missed the drop off date. Now I know why this Cafe receives 5 stars, very friendly atmosphere. I will be back!!”

“Robin in Menlo Park has quickly become one of my absolute favorite sushi restaurants in the Bay Area.

I’ve been here at least ten times now, and each visit feels just as exciting as the first. The consistency, creativity, and attention to detail are what make this place stand out in the Bay Area dining scene.

One of the best things about Robin is the flexibility of the menu. You can choose à la carte if you have favorites in mind, or you can go for the omakase and let the chefs guide your evening. I’ve experienced both, and I can honestly say you can’t go wrong either way. The omakase is particularly special — every dish arrives beautifully plated, with flavors that are fresh, innovative, and balanced. The fish quality is always top-notch, from the buttery otoro to the delicate hamachi, and the chefs often surprise you with unique touches that make each course memorable.

The à la carte options are equally impressive, especially if you want to revisit your favorites. The nigiri and small plates showcase the freshness of the ingredients, and the variety keeps the dining experience exciting. Even the desserts are worth saving room for — light, creative, and the perfect way to finish the meal.

The atmosphere inside Robin is modern yet welcoming, with a stylish design that still feels comfortable. Service is another highlight: the staff are knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely make you feel taken care of.

Robin has become one of my favorite restaurants in Silicon Valley, and I can’t recommend it enough. Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, it always feels unforgettable.”

“Sherash offered impeccable service at our power hour lunchtime, Friday afternoon. The photo you see was a completed service after only 27 minutes from him taking our order. Our chef Brian came from the other Benihana locations (we recognized him from our past trips) and cooked up our food to perfection.

“The aburasoba uses ramen that has a chewy texture. It’s a dry ramen (no soup) and you can chose from multiple types of toppings. Servings are very filling. This place can get packed.”

“Sat at the bar, by choice. Good selection of fine spirits, especially Japanese whiskey and tequila. Cocktails were very well made and balanced. We also asked for a mocktail modified to be “less sweet” than normal and it came out perfect. Food was great, not outstanding, but I would absolutely eat here again. The truffle fries were a miss for us since the white sauce makes them soggy. Burger and NY steak were exactly as advertised, possibly sous vide on the medium rare steak. The tempura mushrooms stood out to us as one of the best small dishes we ate. The Spanish Octopus was an unusually large tentacle, made me wonder how tender it would be. I prefer to have octopus more on the grilled side and that seemed to be lacking here but the favor was decent. The oysters were delicious!”

“extremely bad tasting food and bizzare combinations....miffed at kichadi like biryani with no flavour and being served with aam ka achar....god knows how this restaurant got Michelin star rating ....Shame on the chefs and the owners for ripping off the customers with overpricing of the food for poor service, absence of any ambience or decor”

The Mushroom Chicken is a flavorful option if you’re looking for something different, and the Mac N Cheese is creamy and satisfying. Portions are generous, definitely great for sharing. Overall, a solid choice for a casual bite while shopping.”

Came with friends and tried a few different dishes, including two different styles of momo (kothe and choila), akbare wings, cauli 8848, and chicken chow mein. The juju dhau was also a great way to end the night. Everything was so great! If you’re on the fence, don't hesitate! You have to go here :)”

“The outdoor patio was perfect for our Sunday brunch and our 18th Anniversary. We’ve celebrated many occasions at All Spice and have always had a stellar experience with the staff and the food. Our table felt intimate — we were sharing a large space with four other tables, appropriately distanced. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Again, all Covid-19 compliant. The food, oh the food! The Dutch baby was perfectly cooked and the fruit fillings were gorgeous. The chicken sandwich was out of this world. The Mimosa and hard apple cider beverages were on point. We always love our meals at All Spice and this time was no exception. It’s a total gem!”

“Crumbl cookies are famously large and incredibly sweet. While many of their flavors are enticing, I'd love to see some less sweet options introduced to balance the richness.

Peanut Butter Crisp featuring Butterfinger (4.5/5): This cookie delivered on its promise with a great peanut butter flavor and a satisfying crunch from the Butterfinger pieces. A truly enjoyable fusion.

Cake Batter (4/5): This was less a cookie and more a mini cake! The confetti cookie base was delightful, and the cream cheese-like frosting added a nice touch, but it was exceptionally sweet.”

“Food here is fun and interesting with unexpected ingredients, combinations, and textures. My husband and I decided to make a meal of the small and medium sized dishes and skipped entrees so that we could try more things. Favorites included the grilled Romano beans and the octopus. Misses for me included the tofu custard and kohlrabi. Overall we enjoyed the mix of dishes, as well as our cocktails. We were seated by the window and although we liked the outlook to the street, the glass was not well insulated and we were cold! I think we would have been warmer outside with the heaters.”
