“The top sections on the menu are 100% plant based, and the second half has meat options. It sounds like they used to be fully vegan, so it’s disappointing they added meat to the menu. I enjoyed the Munchwrap and the smash burger was pretty good. Next time I hope to try the flatbread—they currently have one plant based flatbread on the menu.“

“My husband and I have been here for the very first time and we immediately fell in love with this place. The staff is amazing, they know how to treat you and make you feel at home. Alice is very passionate about her job and we loved her homemade desserts sooo much. Best Pizza & Brew is across the street from the beach, by other restaurants and stores, so it's usually a busy place. They have plenty of seating, and the dining area is clean. BP&B also sells cool hats, tees and hoodies. You won't be disappointed with the Best Pizza & Brew.“

“Smallish restaurant with tiny parking lot of about 10 spots shared between 3 businesses. Like the roll up garage door windows, lots of outdoor picnic bench seating under shade canopies (which we couldn't use on this rainy day). Beer selection is pretty good, we had the meat lovers 12 inch pizza and liked the thin crispy crust, a bit skimpy on the toppings but tasty enough.

Parking: I think 10 spots between 3 (?) businesses in this very small strip mini mall.“

“Blue Fire has excellent beer! I've been frequenting this place for years and I always had good beer. I have been brewing my own beer for over 15 years and I can tell you this place does it well! From IPAs to lagers, they are always on style and delicious. They usually have good food vendors and keep the schedule up-to-date on Instagram. Check it out!“

A big part of that comes from the team—Alessa, Reggie, Fernando, Andrew, Connor, Trianna, and Shawn—who were all fantastic: welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging, making the experience feel personal and relaxed.
The space has a modern wine-cellar vibe, complemented by a really well-curated mix of music. You can immediately tell the owner is hands-on and has a great eye for building a team that fits the culture—friendly, passionate, and never pretentious.

“Decent little pizza spot if you're trying to go with a larger group, particularly with a lot of kids. There is tons of space with a little arcade, but also a bar on the end of the restaurant opposite of the arcade. Like many places similar to this, you sit wherever you want and they'll bring your food out to you. They have a ton of TVs around but most are typically on the same channel. Im sure they'd find a specific game for you if you asked.“

“After a long day of playing soccer, the entire team visited Notorious Burgers. We loved the appetizers, especially the brussels sprouts and fried pickles. They offered a variety of food for everyone’s liking. My cheeseburger was the black and blue, and it was heavenly. Next time we’re in Carlsbad, will be sure to eat there again Great spot!!!“
