“Love this place and the food is all good 😘“

“We arrived about 45 minutes before closing and the employee, Jocelyn greeted us with the warmest smile. Although the restaurant was sold out of teriyaki chicken, the item we were wanting, she managed to make our experience quite pleasant. We ended up ordering a small portion of the orange chicken and she gave us a complimentary drink for not having the teriyaki chicken. She also gave us an extra fortune cookies “for the road!” Apparently it was a really busy night and we had just missed the rush. But she still had the biggest grin and best attitude. I’ve worked in customer service for many years and her service was the epitome of going above and beyond. This woman deserves some recognition and a raise. Simply amazing.“

“Received a flyer at my home that’s what got me initiated to check this place out and I’m very happy that I did. They have amazing lunch. Special food taste amazing quantity and quality is great. I asked if I could eat my lunch there. The person on the counter said yes, then they brought out water for me which they didn’t have to, which was a great gesture and customer service that alone has me sold to doing business with these people. I also tried Boba smoothie while I was there, which was very refreshing going to be my go to on my day off for a quick lunch in the neighborhood.“

“Just ate here for lunch today with a family of 5. We wanted a booth but they were just slightly too small so we had to sit at a regular table. Not a problem actually as all of the seats are padded.

We each ordered a lunch menu item, which all come with half-and-half rice and chow mien noodles, plus a small egg drop soup. Lunch items are right around $10 each, and each of us got a heaping plate of food. HIGHLY worth the $10.

We all liked our food. The orange chicken was not too sweet unlike other places (Panda). I got the Shrimp with Hot Garlic Sauce. Lots of sauce on this one. It ended up leaking out of the container after we got the rest to-go, so be sure to pack your leftovers well. The Beef with Broccoli was great.

We also got the Bunny character buns. They looked cute but I didn't think they had a lot of filling. Not too sweet either.

One thing to note: we noticed that some of the soy sauce bottles have a cracked lid. The one on our table wasn't screwed on tightly so we got soy sauce everywhere and had to exchange with another table. That one also had tape holding the lid together, so be aware.

Also, they only had plastic forks. No metal forks. It's a little tough to eat heavy noodles with plastic forks.

They don't have any beer options that I could see. We all chose water. Total came to $61.66 and we had a lot leftover so you have dinner covered if you eat lunch here.“

“Very nice restaurant with a big menu. The tea had chrysanthemum and goji berries and was delicious. Shanghai rice cakes are always a good option and the dessert sesame balls were tasty. Highly recommend. There's also plenty of parking in this small shopping district.“

“Had an absolutely marvelous lunch. I ordered the braised scalops off of the lunch menu. They were delightful. Great portion for lunch. Not too big. The atmosphere reminds me of the chinese places i used to go to when i was a kid. Ambient lighting and saxophone musac. Run by a cute, friendly family who really put love and care into every dish. We will be going back because i want to order everything off of the menu.“

“One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area the best in San Marcos.. my only disappointment is the wonton soup here on the west coast!! Back on the east coast the wonton noodles are large and very doughy here the are small and soft. Hard large wonton noodles in my soup. Still the best I have found other then Philadelphia and New York Chinese restaurants.“

“We had the Mongolian beef, pan fried potstickers, long bao sampler, and bbq pork bao buns. And it was delicious! It was very flavorful and the Mongolian beef chow main was my favorite. Everyone was very nice and quick and it was reasonably price for the amount of food and quality. The broth that the dumplings was cooked in was very savory and I wanted to keep eating even though I was very full. We will be coming back!“

“We LOVE ourselves some Chef Tangs! From the first visit, we identified a superb atmosphere to enjoy fresh, quality food with great pricing. If you like spicy, you cannot pass on their hot and spicy soup. We have turned on several friends to that dish alone! We have also dabbled with most of their chicken and beef dishes; all have been fantastic! The owner, Lee, is an outstanding guy. Always amazing service with a smile. His staff always goes out of the way to make your dining experience memorable and pleasurable. They’ve made us feel like family from the beginning. We endorse this restaurant with our highest regard and crave it on a weekly basis. Get over there and try it for yourself. You’ll become a regular in no time!“

“Eating a lot of their food past four months through Grub Hub due to being unable to walk. It’s always excellent. Tonight’s was super excellent, chop suey with beef extra snow peas and Napa cabbage. Been cooking for over 60 years and this is one of the best and healthiest things I have ever eaten.
Also a bargain…one order is enough for three meals!!!

Been coming here when they first opened up before the name change, staff is lovely, foods always been fresh, I come here about 5 x a month, take food to family, broccoli is never overcooked, noodles are always delicious, spicy chicken, BBQ pork, everythings good here... And you already know about the portions, meal prep worthy with about 3lb of food !!! Lol I'd give them more stars if it were possible. I even have friends from out of state that come here as soon as they hit the ground! Great job 👏 see you soon!“

I would highly recommend it pouring over and eating over the rice.Spicy Noodle Soup: Again, more spicy than sour. “I just want to say that I'm so overjoyed that this Panda Express location offers Beyond Orange Chicken, and honestly I've almost been coming here weekly, for the past 6 weeks or so, since I first found out about it. We actually have 3 Panda Express locations closer to home but none of them offer it, and so I had no idea it was "back", per se, and only found out via random search. Thank you so much and please keep it on the menu!!! Honestly, this particular location really does a great job overall, especially considering the large crowds at times. Given the more than reasonable pricing, Panda Express is pretty hard to beat.“

“I love this place, the salt and pepper chicken and chow mein are really good. The family that works there are friendly and give great service. The prices are similar to other Asian fast food places. Only complaint is sometimes I’ve gotten some dry chicken, it was later in the day so I was just unlucky.“

“My coworkers and I would frequent this restaurant often. I would normally get one of the Large Pho bowls but other times I would venture out to Rice Vermicelli Noodles. These noodles were served with lettuce, cucumbers, bean sprouts, mints, pickled carrots and daikon, roasted peanuts and fish sauce. This instance I got it with grilled chicken and egg rolls. Great food all the time!“

“Nomal, what I didn't like is that there is a specific person that you know speaks Spanish and when you speak to him in Spanish he says no, but he turns around and speaks Spanish to all the employees, different from the manager, he speaks to you. in English or Spanish, it's a shame they do that kind of thing“

“The food here is great, but I'm basing my review entirely on the service.This was my first time going for a rather large dinner order for my family.Lupe and Angie were extremely kind and helpful with my order. I've never used the app before, but they walked me through its features and reward program--all while readying my large order at the same time. They really went above and beyond to help me; the service was quick (not rushed) and friendly. I've never met them before, but they made me feel like we were good friends. You can just tell they're both caring and helpful people. Honestly, it was a a refrshing experience and far beyond the normal level of service you'd get anywhere else.
