“Just had an amazing dinner. We ordered Navratan Korma, hummus & naan, 2 chai teas, and two deserts. All of it was so full of flavor. The rice was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were perfect.
The servers were very helpful with their dessert recommendation. The Ras Malai was better than I expected. Smooth milk cakes in sweet cream with coconut shavings. That was a great finish to a great dinner.
I will definitely be returning soon.“

“We arrived about 45 minutes before closing and the employee, Jocelyn greeted us with the warmest smile. Although the restaurant was sold out of teriyaki chicken, the item we were wanting, she managed to make our experience quite pleasant. We ended up ordering a small portion of the orange chicken and she gave us a complimentary drink for not having the teriyaki chicken. She also gave us an extra fortune cookies “for the road!” Apparently it was a really busy night and we had just missed the rush. But she still had the biggest grin and best attitude. I’ve worked in customer service for many years and her service was the epitome of going above and beyond. This woman deserves some recognition and a raise. Simply amazing.“

“Excellent Customer Service & Professional Resolution

I originally posted a review regarding what I believed to be a billing error at Chin’s Carlsbad. However, after speaking directly with a representative, Howard, I want to commend their professionalism and quick response in addressing my concerns.

Howard took the time to go over my receipt in detail, and we discovered that the Point-of-Sale system deducts a portion of sales tax from gift certificates, which initially caused some confusion. After reviewing the proper sales tax calculations, it became clear that my bill was actually correct. In retrospect, I was mistaken, not the restaurant.

I truly appreciate Howard's courteous and professional approach in resolving this issue. It’s a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction. Chin’s has always been a family favorite, and I’m happy to say that their integrity and service remain top-notch.“

“Very nice restaurant with a big menu. The tea had chrysanthemum and goji berries and was delicious. Shanghai rice cakes are always a good option and the dessert sesame balls were tasty. Highly recommend. There's also plenty of parking in this small shopping district.“

“Amazing Chinese food! Great dim sum and family style meals! My parents are from Taiwan and said this was very authentic. Growing up in OC, I had limited exposure to some of the less popular Chinese foods, but Joyee had them all! My dad loved it and it was all delicious. Even the stuff I haven't tried before.

Ordered Lettuce Wraps. Would have given 5 of 5 stars, but the LETTUCE in my LETTUCE WRAPS was ICEBERG LETTUCE.
Am I being a snob? I don't think so. The chicken mixture was delicious! Better than P.F. Changs (which iI give a 5/10 because i couldn't tell what i was eating and almost broke a tooth on something extremely hard which was sprinkled throughout). But you should, at the very least, spend an extra dime and use a small, sturdier leaf, even romaine.

“One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area the best in San Marcos.. my only disappointment is the wonton soup here on the west coast!! Back on the east coast the wonton noodles are large and very doughy here the are small and soft. Hard large wonton noodles in my soup. Still the best I have found other then Philadelphia and New York Chinese restaurants.“

“Just ate here for lunch today with a family of 5. We wanted a booth but they were just slightly too small so we had to sit at a regular table. Not a problem actually as all of the seats are padded.

We each ordered a lunch menu item, which all come with half-and-half rice and chow mien noodles, plus a small egg drop soup. Lunch items are right around $10 each, and each of us got a heaping plate of food. HIGHLY worth the $10.

We all liked our food. The orange chicken was not too sweet unlike other places (Panda). I got the Shrimp with Hot Garlic Sauce. Lots of sauce on this one. It ended up leaking out of the container after we got the rest to-go, so be sure to pack your leftovers well. The Beef with Broccoli was great.

We also got the Bunny character buns. They looked cute but I didn't think they had a lot of filling. Not too sweet either.

One thing to note: we noticed that some of the soy sauce bottles have a cracked lid. The one on our table wasn't screwed on tightly so we got soy sauce everywhere and had to exchange with another table. That one also had tape holding the lid together, so be aware.

Also, they only had plastic forks. No metal forks. It's a little tough to eat heavy noodles with plastic forks.

They don't have any beer options that I could see. We all chose water. Total came to $61.66 and we had a lot leftover so you have dinner covered if you eat lunch here.“

“AAALLLLL DAAAAAYYYYY!!!! Been coming here when they first opened up before the name change, staff is lovely, foods always been fresh, I come here about 5 x a month, take food to family, broccoli is never overcooked, noodles are always delicious, spicy chicken, BBQ pork, everythings good here... And you already know about the portions, meal prep worthy with about 3lb of food !!! Lol I'd give them more stars if it were possible. I even have friends from out of state that come here as soon as they hit the ground! Great job 👏 see you soon!“

“We LOVE ourselves some Chef Tangs! From the first visit, we identified a superb atmosphere to enjoy fresh, quality food with great pricing. If you like spicy, you cannot pass on their hot and spicy soup. We have turned on several friends to that dish alone! We have also dabbled with most of their chicken and beef dishes; all have been fantastic! The owner, Lee, is an outstanding guy. Always amazing service with a smile. His staff always goes out of the way to make your dining experience memorable and pleasurable. They’ve made us feel like family from the beginning. We endorse this restaurant with our highest regard and crave it on a weekly basis. Get over there and try it for yourself. You’ll become a regular in no time!“

“Eating a lot of their food past four months through Grub Hub due to being unable to walk. It’s always excellent. Tonight’s was super excellent, chop suey with beef extra snow peas and Napa cabbage. Been cooking for over 60 years and this is one of the best and healthiest things I have ever eaten.
Also a bargain…one order is enough for three meals!!!

“Overall: The food was good, very authentic, and it took 20 minutes for the food to come out.Fish with sour soup: The flavor is strong! But it was the perfect mixture of spicy and sour. I would highly recommend it pouring over and eating over the rice.Spicy Noodle Soup: Again, more spicy than sour. However, it was the perfect Mala spicy-nessLocation: Its in a plaza lose to the Qualcomm work place with a lot of the other places to eat. “Nomal, what I didn't like is that there is a specific person that you know speaks Spanish and when you speak to him in Spanish he says no, but he turns around and speaks Spanish to all the employees, different from the manager, he speaks to you. in English or Spanish, it's a shame they do that kind of thing“

“I love this place, the salt and pepper chicken and chow mein are really good. The family that works there are friendly and give great service. The prices are similar to other Asian fast food places. Only complaint is sometimes I’ve gotten some dry chicken, it was later in the day so I was just unlucky.“

“It’s been a long time since we’ve ordered here, but the family was craving Chinese food, it’s part of our Nee Years Day tradition. I had work today and didn’t have time to drive and pick up from our usual restaurant. Placed an order for the family on New Years Day using the Panda Express App. It was super easy to navigate. Upon arrival, I added the vegetable spring rolls, they made them fresh to order. Staff was welcoming, they smiled, they greeted you and they were all super helpful. The food was half the price of our usual go to restaurant and Panda Express offered more flavor. Everyone was happy, the food was fresh, hot and filling. We spent less than $12 each for four adults. We will definitely be back! Thank you!“
