“Frequent customer friends of mine called ahead to reserve a table for 3. I was very surprised when the manager comped our meals. The food would have been only a few dollars more than fast food , but it was far better as to exactly cooking to the asked for point of good grade Angus beef. Waiters were often checking our satisfaction and getting any items quickly. I was told by my friends that they had tipped deciently. I still slipped an additional decent tip to our waiter out of gratitude for good service.“

“I don’t remember having pasta this good since I visited Italy back in 2014. I ordered the Tagliatelle, I loved how the noodles were so thin and the beef/sauce was just the right balance. The sfincione in bianco (focaccia) was amazing, reminded me of the one in Felix. Next time I’ll have to get a side of ricotta as a dip. For dessert, ended up getting the Tartino al Cioccolato - the textures were incredible and now is my all time favorite dessert. In my opinion, this is the best Italian restaurant in all of LA. Chef Funke really knows what he is doing. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!“

“We decided to head out for a NYE dinner but didn't want to pay an exorbitant amount. Duke's fit the bill. Had Coconut Shrimp and Crab Wonton apps. Very good. Dinner was well received with Steamed Fish and Shrimp in Banana leaf, filet mignon, chicken and rib plate and fish of the day. Everyone said their meal was the best. Drinks and desert topped it off beautifully. We will return again. Definitely get a table at the windows.“

“This was my first time here. The valet price wasn’t insanely expensive. Upon walking in, I literally felt like I was in an LA (proper) hotspot. It was busy, thus a bit loud; but it went with the vibe of the restaurant. (Good thing, not a negative one.) It looks like a great place for first dates, date night, girls night out… Maaaybe not for for families with little kids. I work with children and I adore them, however I suggest getting a sitter for the night so everyone can enjoy the ambience. The service was amazing, Mary was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with suggestions. Everyone at the table loved their dishes, there were zero complaints. Our friend’s daughter works there and was able to pop out to say hello and goodbye. I cannot wait to go back and try everything else on the menu.“

“We Always come here for a Fun Date Night with my Husband. We LOVE the Comedy Nights. They are Always so funny and the whole staff is great. The prices are perfect, the food is really good and the drinks are always made perfectly by the great bartenders. We will continue coming for Comedy Nights. You should all too. “Last night Gym Bar sponsored a Pride Night event at Dodger Stadium. It was fantastic! After pregame cocktails at Gym Bar, about 80 of us boarded two glitzy buses and headed to Dodger Stadium. The bus ride was a blast, complete with complimentary cocktails from Ketel One and a bunch of great raffle prizes! Our group seating at the game was fun, even if the Dodgers lost. Boo! The ride home was a a bit less rowdy, but thanks to Jonathan's iPhone, we at least got sing along to Pink Pony Club. See you next year Jonathan!“
