“My family and I went to this restaurant yesterday and we HIGHLY recommend it!! We got 3 kinds of curry dishes (curry chicken, tikka masala, and korma) and they were all delicious! We even ordered extra to have for lunch the next day. We also tried the raita, rice pudding and this mango ice cream dessert and they were so good and the flavors are incredible. The raita was so fresh! Our server was so sweet, she always made sure our drinks were filled and was patient and kind- plus she made the recommendation for the mango ice cream dessert and we loved it (Pic below)! Oh and the garlic cilantro naan was fire!!! We will be back!“

“We came upon Firangi while in the Arts District in Escondido and it was AMAZING!
We were greeted to a friendly hello and smile by Kristina when we first entered the restaurant. We chose a table at the window and Kristina offered us menus and water and gave us time to make our selections and answer our questions.

When the chef brought our food to the table we were surprised at the large quantity and every bite was delicious! We can’t wait to go back to Firangi with the rest of our family.“

“I recently visited Darbar Restaurant with my friends, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the rich flavors and fresh ingredients used in every dish. The staff was very polite, friendly, and provided quick service throughout our visit.

The ambiance of the restaurant was clean, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends. I was especially impressed by the quality and taste of the food at such reasonable prices.

But if you want the real thing, please plan a visit to Bombay Cafe. We ordered the Tandoori Chicken and the Lamb Tikka Masala. Both dishes were fantastic. The presentation of the Tandoori was particularly impressive!

Don’t plan your visit here with fast food timing in mind; everything is made to order. In fact, you can watch your chef cook your food through a glass window! When you read the menu, understand that everything is separate; we ordered Basmati rice and garlic naan to go with our dishes!

“Absolute best Indian food in San Diego county! I love spicy and got the 10 out of 10 chicken dish, which was outstanding. Initially smooth and savory with an after burner bite it was great! On the chicken kebab, which was ridiculously juicy and incredibly marinated full of flavor Last, but not least, they surprised us with dessert, which was a homemade ice cream with hints of pistachio and rosewater. “They use olive oil, butter, and ghee. I called multiple Indian restaurants locally, and they were the only ones who don't use cheap oil - soybean oil. It makes a difference with taste as well, the food was phenomenal and flavorful. The quality of the food here is really high, and it was such a treat to be able to order anything and have sea food options like calamari!“
