Starbucks in Escondido

“I originally got my drink from another Starbucks out in Hemet and it was extremely extremely bitter way to strong for a salted caramel cold brew, I stopped at this Starbucks to see if I could get splenda or anything to make it taste better and can I just say how amazing these two young ladies were, not only were they super sweet beautiful young ladies, their customer service was extremely generous!!! They offered to make me a new drinkand it was way way better, I didn't get their names but I came in on 9/21 at 7pm Thank You ladies so so much ??❤️❤️“

“Came in this evening to the Target Starbucks and asked for a grande Carmel Apple Spice. None of the 3 employees had made the drink before but instead of turning me away ir giving an excuse one barista took the time to look through their pamphlet and find the recipe. She made the drink and it was delicious. After having a horrendous day I truly appreciated the extra effort that she gave in trying to assist me.Thank you for your kindness and great job on the drink! I hope this review gets to your boss :)“

“This is a conveniently located Starbucks. They staff is always helpful, the store is always clean. Recently, they took out all of their indoor seating, but there is still patio seating. So I suppose this location is best suited to pick up orders, evening visits, or for people that want to brave the relentless escondido summer heat. The store itself has AC and standing accommodations only.

Taking out the seating for customers was done as a legitimate safety concern. However, it would have been better if they worked with the property management to get guardrails installed versus removing one of the best features of this Starbucks that's been here for so many years.

It's still a great place to stop if you're running errand at the mall it's located in. There is a huge parking lot, but it can get busy. Tons of food, banking, and shopping nearby.

Vegetarian options: All Starbucks have some sort of vegetarian selection or snacks.

Dietary restrictions: They are always willing to customize drink to meet your dietary needs. It's never been an issue here.

Parking: There is a really big parking lot, but it is a busy shopping center with lots of business to service.

Kid-friendliness: Yes, but less so without seating. Standing tables inside are to tall for kids. Small Starbucks in general.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, it is, but wheelchair accessible parking is NOT located directly in front of the store.“

“We showed up about 5mins after they opened. The staff was SUPER friendly and chatted with my son (toddler). We got great service and the manager (Jamie) even talked me through the wall art which displayed the coffee making process. It was a fantastic experience! So good ... I had to come to Trip Advisor to tell everyone.“

“What cant be said....baristas are so friendly I have heard how amazing they are to the employees and that says it all for starbucks. Never a frown even when super busy. Always great drinks and light variety of breakfast, lunch and snacks. Great atmosphere people go there to sit and do whatever they need....read a book, paint, meet clients. Thumbs up. My favorite is the white chocolate mocha. Mmmmm“

“I live in Escondido and work in Escondido. I can easily drive to 4 Starbucks on my commute and have tried multiple locations. This one by far is the best one. Always, always friendly I love the staff. They are consistently accurate with my order, fast, reliable, and keep the space clean. Today they especially made my day and I just had to give them some praise.“

“Beautiful store, employees all are working so hard to keep up with the traffic & demand. Unfortunately the drinks & food are not always right. Ordered bacon egg bits got something else, same with drink Ordered a pumpkin latte got some watered down tea.. correct label. Unfortunately because it was the drive thru too late to turn back. ?“

“Better buzz is not your typical run of the mill coffee shop. Staff is professional, courteous, and cheerful. Coffee beverages are deliciously different and imaginative. Pastries and sandwiches are unique and tasty. Take time to enjoy this establishment.“

“The lady and gentlemen that work weekend mornings at the Albertsons location are just wonderful. Very friendly..coffee is always perfect..and as of late since I'm a creature of habit my coffee is usually ready before I even finish ordering it..you need to keep these people l.“

“Great location with friendly staff. The only downside (hence the reason for 4 stars) is that they only have a drive through, no walk up window or lobby. I had a mobile order that I was going to pick up in a lunch break, but couldn't get it in time due to a long line. Luckily when I called they said they would remake it when I came back later, but the way the location is set up is extremely inconvent. Honestly I don't think mobile orders should be available for this location since you still have to wait in line, regardless of how long it is.“

I have started to preorder as sometimes I’m in a hurry or they are busy! And they have had my chai ready every time when I have shown up!
I wish they had an indoor cafe to sit! I’d come here all the time! This is why I took away a star for atmosphere.“

“**LOCATED INSIDE TARGET** Staffing is always friendly from open to close! Employees are typically high school/college students with middle aged supervisors. Shop is pretty clean considering it’s located inside Target and all the traffic they bring. Great drinks and snacks ??“

“Unless now updated on maps, the location is actually its own separate building instead of the shared building it used to be.

I like the drive through. The speaker can be a little low volume though.

No issues with orders so far.“
