“matcha drinks here are sooo good and that’s coming from someone who makes and drinks a loooot of matcha. love that this spot has a lot of creative options- boba tea drinks, coffee, matcha, fruity drinks etc. so there’s something for everyone. there is also no up charge for oat milk and sweetness can be adjusted. loved the matcha einspanner the most! i also really appreciate that the drinks are not overly sweet at the base level because a lot of times matcha drinks can taste like a dessert but the flavors truly shine without being sugar overload!“

“As a fan of brown sugar milk tea boba, the ice cream version was unreal. The soft serve was really creamy and tasted amazing. My wife got the Tiramisu coffee and it genuinely was not good (do not recommend), but when I went to order her something else they offered to exchange it free of cost without even asking! They have a wide selection of matcha drinks and fruit drinks. The quality of the boba was surprisingly good. They are known for the fruit/matcha combo drink selections.

I unwisely chose a matcha jasmine tea drink, and it was a bit underwhelming. Again, the boba was good- but the matcha wasn't. Maybe I should have chosen the recommended mango matcha...

Also the sweet level is on the low side- I usually go for 25%, but I recommend 50% or 75%. Anyways, not a bad place if you really need the midday boost. Enjoy!“

“Hometown Dumpling in Folsom, CA, serves up some authentic homemade dumpling... they gots boiled, steamed , and pan fried in a variety of fillings.

The menu also has wonton soup, noodles, soup dumplings, fried spring rolls, crab rangoons, cucumber salad (Asian style), Chinese egg custards, bbq pork buns, sesame red bean paste fried balls,, stir fry veggies, taro steamed buns, and some other items.

I've tried the dumplings boiled, steamed, and pan fried. The boiled ones are slippery and best when I'm in the mood to have them swirled in a sauce like hot chili oil. Streamed ones have a slight chew to the dumpling exterior than the boiled or fried dumplings.But doesn't take away from the taste. Pan fried is good when you want a crispier exterior and slight crunch. Whatever way you order 'em... it's all good! The egg custards, sesame balls, and crab rangoons are classic and my other go tos. I enjoy the diversity of the menu. Gotta confess, in Folsom there is not a lot of these good authentic dumpling places. Plus throw in some dim sum items...score! Is it Michelin star, no. It is homemade and comforting, yes!

The location is not big , but has pretty much decent capacity for customers who are willing to dine in. Yes ! A big applaud for their cleanliness, and hygiene work, and they do take care of their customers’ health by keeping everything clean, also this place is well decorated as well. They offer different types of services dining in, to go , and delivery which like most other food chain restaurants or regular coffee shops. In addition, the prices are pretty much decent for the different types of drinks you order, also California is getting expensive, so nothing is cheap anymore. One thing about this location really caught my attention that the quality of their ingredients, and products are really good, and fresh, so the quality of drinks , and food is good. They are wheelchair accessible, and friendly, but the seats are not comfortable for a bodily disabled individual, so use your own accommodations. The parking is big, and you can easily find parking spots including handicapped areas. My experience was good , and I got my favorite drink with extra ingredients, also they do listen to customers concerns, and take care of them, so I will definitely return, and will definitely recommend.
