“Ate here for dinner before going to the movies last week. Food was really good and the service was wonderful. Andy was very helpful with the choice of our food. Going back tomorrow with the family to celebrate our anniversary. We moved here from the Bay Area a year ago and this place exceeded our expectation.“

“Yummy food, good prices and portions. It's the only Asian food that my husband, with a MSG allergy doesn't have a problem with even though other places tell us there is no MSG in their food.

We particularly love their egg rolls, chowmein, hot & sour soup and pork with green beans.“

“This is my 2nd time here and it’s the absolute best place to eat. Before I had chicken vegetables and recently vegetables and tofu. I mostly eat vegetables and they offer a good portion of vegetables without skimping like so many other restaurants do. Not Bok choy. They work hard and are very attentive to their customers. Mint/ cilantro chutney for mixed vegetable pakora was frothy and like rasam..very watery. Pakoras were more like onion than mixed vegetables. Starter paneer dish was almost charred..chicken drum sticks were also a little overdone. Chicken curry was great, but was packed in a single half tray and was not double packed..hence was messy to deal with. Naans were not packed right, hence very soggy.“

“Went in Sunday (10/12/25) for lunch after leaving another local Chinese establishment that wanted to charge $13 for a small bowl of hot-n-sour soup and no rice came with entrees.

The Sunny Garden was great. The orange chicken was crisp and fresh, and the chow mein was excellent. The string beans were crisp and not overcooked. We got out of there for less than half of the other place and were very pleased (full).

I found a new favorite Chinese restaurant for when I'm in Folsom. Thank you Summer Garden for the excellent food.“

“Were there with my wife. Tried Wonton soup, steamed dumplings with pork, shrimp and mushrooms as well as with lamb and radish. Everything was delicious. Guys made it fast and tasty. Recommend 100%. Looking forward to visiting them with our children soon.“

“As someone who likes eating out but still wants to stay on the healthier side, I love Lotus 8. The food always tastes fresh and light, not greasy, and they have so many great veggie options. The stir-fried greens, dumplings, and noodle bowls are all super tasty and filling. You can really tell they use fresh ingredients and stick to authentic Cantonese flavors. I used to think I had to drive to Sacramento to get good Chinese food, but honestly, Lotus 8 has become my go-to spot in Folsom.
