“I was looking for veggie based food places in the Folsom area and came across Mantra. I decided to place an order for pickup Saturday evening and ordered the Kerala Veg Korma & Aloo Paratha. I was very impressed with the excellent quality of the food! The flavors of the Korma were distinct and I could clearly taste the cauliflower, coconut milk, spices, and other veggies harmoniously coming together. I ordered it spicy and it was comfortably hot without being overwhelming. The Aloo Paratha was similarly well made. Even the rice was exceptionally fluffy and tasty! Good service as well, I ordered pickup and my order wasn't immediately ready, but within a couple minutes no less than three people had come by to check on the status and quickly brought out the freshly made food. Highly recommended!“

“The food here is really delicious and comes out fresh and hot. The service was great. We were offered water refills, asked how everything was and if there was anything else we wanted, often. As of October 2024 I would recommend keeping your party to 4 or less people or ordering to-go because the tables/booths are fairly small. The place was very clean inside. I would definitely recommend this place.“

“Honestly couldn’t be better. The food is flavorful and the portions are generous. We eat primarily vegetarian: masala dosa, palak paneer, and malai kofta. The kofta in particular is amazing— they literally melt in your mouth, like little clouds of flavor. I don’t think you could go wrong here. The naan is fluffy, the dosa dough was so thin and light but generous on the filling… I really could go on. Not to mention every server we’ve had was so sweet and eager to answer questions and help.

Eat here please so that they are a huge success— they deserve it.“
