“So this doughnut shop is inside the grocery / general store in the plaza. They offer so many unique doughnuts like various candy bar and cereal flavors, as well as some more traditional flavors. This was a great way for me to try them out for the first time. When I first walked in, I didn’t expect the place to look so clean!

It was spick and span and there were cookies laid out in front. There were two women working at the time. I didn’t catch the name of the girl I spoke to.

I came in and asked her if they were giving away FREE Cookies today and she said they were. She told me what to press on the machine to order my cookies. She wasn’t very friendly though. I placed my order she handed me my cookies and I told her this was my first visit.

Usually when I tell a business that I’m a first-time customer, they’re more open to explaining what they have, who they are, their process, etc. I don’t get that this time. I also noticed after I grabbed my cookies, she kinda spied on me in odd way as I was leaving.

As far as the cookies, I honestly didn’t expect to receive two! I give them a 3.5/5. They tasted like chocolate chip ginger cookies to me, which was good.

I may visit a Crumbl Cookies again if they have some better flavors I’d like to try and some more warming customer service.“

“i really like crumbl!! i would totally give this 5 stars but this specific one though is closest to my house and they have not done any special hometown picks or fun features that other crumbls do through the app. i have been waiting to see some fun hometown picks for the RSM location but sadly i only see Foothill Ranch doing it. Compared to Foothill Ranch, the RSM crumbl customer service is mediocre, as no one seems like they want to be working there however the cookies are great nonetheless i just hope i start seeing more fun stuff in the app for the RSM location!!“

The restaurant is clean and well decorated.

The staff is friendly and helpful.

There's lots of pastry options. Both savory and sweet. There are also premade sandwiches. Some are child and can be heated, and others that are served cold.
Then there are the cakes. You can order slices or entire cake. They have lots of drink options hot coffee/ tea and cold options too.

They have plenty of indoor seating as well as patio seating.

Everything is yummy.“

My favorite items on the menu are Almond Croissant, Cream Broiler and Almond Cake plus all the rest of the pastry they make. “The cookies are delicious, definitely would come again. They have weekly flavors, so you never get tired of the same old cookies. I got the Benson Boone Moonbeam Ice cream cookie, and it’s amazing. My favorite cookie, however, is the original chocolate chip cookie, it’s super sweet and warm, and topped with sea salt. Luckily, the original chocolate chip is always a choice of cookies you can buy.“

“They were very responsive to emails. I first filled out web inquiry and got a reply on the same day. They were booked for tasting appointment very fast so make sure you contact them early as they only have appointments available during the week Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays between 1pm and 6pm. Saturdays from 9am-4pm. The tasting appointment was an hour long and it's FREE!!! Some other places I looked at will charge you for tasting and even though the tasting charge might be deducted from final order, it made me feel much better when there was no cost to start with as wedding was already expensive. The place was a little bit hard to find since it was office-like looking from outside and I thought it was bakery-like. They have parking lot. My husband and I tried so many different favors of cake and they were so delicious. We had a hard time deciding which ones to get because we had more than three favorite. During the appointment, they also showed you what style of cake they offered and its pricing. We went with the basic so there was no add-on cost, but they can custom-make your order if you show them pictures of what you want with additional cost (and trust me the price is fair). We ended up ordering a 3-tier ice in white buttercream cake with 12" white with mango, 9" almond with cappuccino & chocolate mousse, and 6" mocha chip with rosy mauve ribbon around tiers for 100 guests for my wedding. They emailed us a week before the wedding to confirm there was no changes and the order was correct. The cake was delivered on time and was decorated with fresh flowers my florist provided on site by the delivery staff. (If you have cake topper, you can either drop it off to the shop or have it installed on site by delivery staff. Either way, you need to let them know in advance so they can make sure your cake is structurally stable for the cake topper weight.) My wedding cake looked pretty and it tasted good. I received lots of compliment from the guests. On the side note, they would charge you more if you use American Express credit card. And you only need to pay deposit on the site but they don't have online system for you to pay the remaining online. Since we didn't have cake topper to drop off and did not want to make another trip just to pay the balance, we paid it in full the same day of tasting. This would be two suggestions for improvement, but they still deserve a 5-star for their service, the quality (taste/look), and the friendly price. Ohh and did I mention that you do receive a complimentary one year anniversary cake? That's for sure a big PLUS since my husband and I were too busy to have our own wedding cake at our wedding. We are very looking forward to our one year anniversary! All you need to do is to contact them 3 weeks prior to your one year anniversary to place the order. Give them the date of your wedding and the name the order is under and they will pull up your file and place the order. Yup it's 3 weeks, not 2 weeks. They are definitely getting busier and that's how good they are! If you are still looking for wedding cake or cake for any event, this is where I would recommend.“

“I have had many of Shadi’s cakes for different occasions and celebration; I have to say, they are all so delicious and mouthwatering. Her apple Tart Tatin is to die for! Her cheese cakes are out of this world! Especially her Mars cheese cake is absolutely one of a kind. You have to try it to believe how delicious they are. Banana lovers, you must try her chocolate chip banana cake! It’s so yummy 🤤 Also as a person Shadi is as sweet or I should say truthfully sweeter than her Sweets 😉 She is always smiling and so pleasant to work with. “I ordered two cream pans and let me say it doesn't disappoint. So if you love creamy custard filling folded into buttery bread that is made with TLC, then Hamada-Ya Bakery is the place to go. Now let's say you eat one and save the other for the next day, I suggest refrigerating it. Then when you want to eat it take it out of the fridge and let it sit until it's room temperature. Your taste buds are going to be very happy you did. ?“

“I got a 3 leches cake this past Saturday (9/13) and let me tell you the flavor was amazing. I haven’t had a delicious and moist 3 leches cake in a long time. We would usually buy it from el Molino across the street but the past years their cakes have been super dry! It has nothing of 3 leches,

“Moving to South County has definitely limited my options, but so glad that a Paris Baguette has opened a location in Ladera Ranch. The inside is so bright, airy and clean with plenty of seating options.

The pastries are clearly labeled with a short description. It's nice that they include a list of ingredients, which I find helpful for those who may have allergens that is often overlooked or just as a nice to know.

Some of our favorites have been palmier, milk bread, fruit tart and egg tarts. For savory items, I love the pastry frank and curry croquette. It seems like they started expanding more of their menu with seasonal items such as such as pizettas and fall vibes with biscoff and pumpkin flavored things. Looking forward to giving those a try some time.“

“I have visited JJ Bakery Irvine over a decade. I love their Traditional Taiwanese breads , pastries and sweets. Here are a few items that I would recommend (in pic order)

1. Egg Tart: I always purchase two egg tarts when I have the chance. But, it got sold out quickly.
2.Taro Pastry: Real taro paste, not too sweet. It is very delicious

3. Custard Bread: One of the traditional Taiwanese breads.
4. Scallion Bread: It is savory. Sometimes, I like savory breakfast.

5. Flan: Flan is located at the refrigerator near the entrance. It is dense instead of watery. I love it.

6. Almond Cookie:Perfect snack while I am watching Netflix.( It won’t last 20 minutes though)“
