“Cool Boba Shop! So, I didn’t know that not all Ding Tea locations have the same drink flavors. Most of the drinks are the same, but each location has a drink or drinks of their own. At least that’s what the cashier said when they didn’t have a drink I usually order at other locations.Nice clean place. Seating inside and out available. You can also order through a touch screen if you want! Excellent touch!Staff is friendly and patient, it took me a little bit to find my drink lol.“

“For reference, I usually don’t like coffee and generally prefer tea as a drink. That being said, I come here semi-often for roasted beans as gifts for other people, and the service is A+++ immaculate every time. I’m not knowledgeable about coffee beans but the workers will gladly answer any of your questions about the myriad of beans they have on display. They’ll also roast the beans for you, which will take about ~10 minutes or so.

I’ve also had one of their iced coffees and I loved the taste (though caffeine makes me hyper so I usually don’t drink anything with it that much). Highly highly recommend!!!“

“Had a craving for coffee after walking by the beach so I googled spots nearby. With so many options (never Starbucks) I saw this one had a pretty fair amount of good reviews. It’s pretty small, not a lot of seating, but you’re by the beach so not really a priority.
I took a look at the specialty menu and I have to say, nothing too crazy. I settled in the cherries and cream latte. I didn’t really taste anything special. The coffee itself wasn’t bad, just didn’t stand out“

First of all, they use organic coffee beans and organic whole milk as an automatic in the lattes!! This is literally my dream come true.

“Wow, I just took a bite out of the guava cream cheese croissant and I’m blown away! So deliciously creamy and crispy. The guava is like a jam that is perfectly balanced (sweet, but not overly so). The croissant is both fluffy and crispy in all the right ways. The iced saffron and cardamom latte was also so good! I took a leap and tried something new and was not disappointed—in fact my expectations were fully exceeded coming to Diotima. Kian and the staff were so kind. The other customers were also so sweet. “This is my favorite local coffee shop in South OC! I love their iced lavender latte. They have a huge variety of flavors for coffee & more authentic tasting than a Starbucks. Wide variety of pastries, bagels, muffins, etc. All of their food is delicious & freshly made. I recommend the scramblers, salads & sandwiches. They have a nice patio for outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. The staff and owners are so sweet!

“Just fantastic. I just love being able to talk coffee and enjoy really great espresso shots and drinks with someone like Nick who knows the art of making espresso and their ways with the coffee beans.

We first tried a double shot espresso shot with their Espresso Blend, and it has great complexity and flavor with lingering chocolate finish, but the real surprise treat was when he pulled a blonde shot with the Uganda light roast. I've never had a light roast as espresso and I was surprised at how good it was! So much so that I bought a whole bag of the Uganads Light Roast to try at home!

This is a worthwhile store to go to and I'd choose this over Starbucks any day of the week!“

“Pretty cool place but it’s pretty noisy .. the offices are great but walls are made from tissue paper .. common area is spot on but you need to be early for a good spot .. ample free parking spaces .. bikes for short commutes to your favorite restaurants .. great place for studying or intensive reading with your headphones of course“

“One of the better coffee places in all of Southern California. Vietnamese code is their specialty and it’s a fantastic bean origin for delicious coffee drinks of all types. I normally get the hot Spanish Latte or an iced Americano, both of which I would highly recommend to anyone.“

Interior is so cute with clean decors. We ordered the cali bowl, ube dream bowl and pandan bowl. Asides from preset bowls, you can choose base and toppings freely.

The fruits are fresh and I love how they have more toppings than other places such as the hemp granola, sunflower seeds, almond butter etc. They also have a new Pandan base. The ube dream bowl is probably my favorite because of the unique base and taste more like a dessert

“First time visiting this small community coffee shop after Suda closed at the same location. While many people were inside, it never felt too crowded. Sitting areas were divided, it was easy to order from the counter. The taste of coffee and drink were OK, nothing special or outstanding compared to other small, specialized coffee shops in OC. Staffs and cashier were friendly, I will probably visit this place again when driving by Northwood Irvine area.“

“This shop has teas, little bites and ice cream. Came for the bobo tea and ordered a guava match latte. They use real milk here, but have non dairy option. The matcha guava was a nice blend and with boba hit the spot. I ordered it with 0 sugar and for me it was sweet enough already.
I need to come back and try the ice cream one day.“
