“Wearing my small-business owner hat from Retro Chic, I can’t say enough good things about Roasters Espresso Bar. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by some of the nicest people around — always friendly, always welcoming, always happy to see you.

The drinks are consistently excellent, both hot and cold, and the smoothies are seriously yum. One of my favorite parts is the space itself — filled with local art for sale, which makes it feel creative, intentional, and very Forestville.

This is one of those places that truly gets community, and it shows in every detail. We’re lucky to have them right here.“

“I've been coming here regularly for about 18 months and enjoy it immensely. The staff are courteous and friendly (none of the smug faux-hipster crap I sometimes see at other coffee joints), and the atmosphere is generally mellow, even when it's busy.“

“I went to Blue Bagel Coffee around 45 minutes prior to closing and ordered a latte for myself with the plan of bringing my girlfriend a coffee around 3 when she would get out of work and Blue Bagel told me to place the order at 3 and it would be the last thing they would make. That kind of service means a lot to me and I appreciated it! Also their coffee is incredible, actually blew me and my girlfriend away, her macchiato had perfect proportions and used great ingredients. I ordered three street tacos—chorizo, chicken, and steak—and that steak taco? Buddy… it tasted like someone grilled the most excellent steak known to mankind, whispered words of encouragement to it, motivated it to reach its full potential, then sliced it into bite-size greatness. The salsa inside? So good I considered taking it home and introducing it to my family. My son ordered the happy hour cheese quesadilla, which came out perfectly toasted—crispy golden edges, soft cheesy center. Basically a work of art Picasso wishes he painted. Then we shared the habanero wings, which came with a medley of tomatoes and sliced cucumbers so fancy it felt like they were auditioning for a cooking show. The dressing? Absolutely delicious. As I was eating by myself I found that my eyes kept wandering and noticed the place is fairly clean. I ordered the steak and meatball soup and the flavor of the broth was really good! I will be trying other items on the menu in the future as I will definitely be back!“
