“I went to Blue Bagel Coffee around 45 minutes prior to closing and ordered a latte for myself with the plan of bringing my girlfriend a coffee around 3 when she would get out of work and Blue Bagel told me to place the order at 3 and it would be the last thing they would make. Also their coffee is incredible, actually blew me and my girlfriend away, her macchiato had perfect proportions and used great ingredients. “Excellent, high quality coffee/espresso drinks and baked goods (scones, etc.) from this tiny little cafe in South Sebastopol. Probably the best espresso in town! Blink and you’ll miss the sign, which is I believe just a sandwich board on the side of the road, but it’s worth doubling back for if you drive past. It’s a bit tucked away in the shopping center right behind Fircrest Market. Nice little quiet patio outside as well. The owner sources and roasts all the coffee himself and has lots of info to share about the coffee he sells. He also makes all the bakery items himself. A real gem addition to the Sebastopol coffee scene.“

“I’d like to give them 5 stars but the quality of the espresso drinks, cappuccini in particular, starkly depends on the barista. One certain barista delivers always a 5 star cappuccino on par what you would get at Retrograde Coffee Roasters , exact extraction, micro foam, latte art, etc, very delicious and a pleasure for the eyes.
The rest of the baristas deliver what you got 25 years ago at the typical coffeehouse, kind of mediocre coffee.
It’s like you go to a restaurant where the food is really good but only if the one particular chef is working the kitchen.
The cafe could be as busy as Retrograde but they don’t really try, it seems.
I really want to like it as the environment, seating and such, is much nicer there than at the other cafes in town.
But why would I spent $6 on a Ford when I can get an Alfa Romeo for the same price?!“

“This place is outstanding! I had the Mexican mocha. It was so creamy and delicious. I’m literally asking myself why I go to SBUX. I had the big breakfast burrito. Was enough for me and my daughter. I love that they grill the burrito. Reminds me of home. (Texas) We had black iced coffee. Very good flavor. Hot chocolate was so good too. My husband had the 2 sunny side up eggs on sourdough. We love coming to Guerneville on the weekends to kayak. And now we have an excellent coffee and breakfast stop! Thank you ladies, for a wonderful experience. Will see you again, real soon.“
