“The Sunday brunch is always a delight at Cafe Florian. It's the next in the Bay Area. The servings are always fresh and the roast beef and dungeness crab was awesome. You can always expect outstanding service and a pleasant atmosphere. We have been coming here for the last ten years and it's always consistently excellent! “Love this place!! Randomly chose this place (good gôogle reviews and in the neighborhood) to meet a friend for a hot drink. Was a little noshy, Got tempted by the menu and ordered the breakfast burrito, friend ordered avocado toast. Food was super delicious and garnished nicely. Made friends w the enthusiastic and gregarious staff. Enjoyed everything about this place! all the small touches, the awesome art on the wall and the welcoming comfy atmosphere made it a great first impression. Thanks Chris and "Papa" for some scrumptious food, perfection in a Mexican cocoa, and for making us feel like we came to exactly the right place. 😃😉☺️... “I’m a huge fan of dirty chai lattes and I’m always searching for who has the best. The dirty chai at Antigua is definitely near the top of the list for me. Not too sweet and not too spicy which is the way I like them. Will def be back for the chai. Pastries were also delicious. Haven’t tried the food yet but looks like it would be amazing.“

“Great small family owned and run bagel cafe. The bagels are fresh as can be, have a large variety and are reasonably price. They are the best and freshest bagels on the Peninsula. My wife and I love the lox cream cheese combo bagel. They don’t skimp on cream cheese, unlike Noah’s, served warm with great smells of the topping. Very nice outdoor patio to enjoy your brunch. They also have a variety of meat bagel sandwiches to choose from Al top notch and carefully made.“

“I had to stop by Royal Donut Cafe because of all of the great reviews I saw on Yelp! And I must say that I wasn't disappointed at all! The staff was awesome! From the cashier, to the cooks, and the server. And I even got a chance to meet the owner, Terri, who has taken over the business for the past 15 years! Definitely going to be a regular here! I ordered the vegetarian omelet! 😋“

“The lady who works behind the counter is extremely rude and unprofessional. Very snobby and no manners, she laughed in my face multiple times, and since then, I have not returned. She ruined the whole experience. I emailed and never got a response back. I'm not quite sure if this behavior is acceptable. But she had a gross attitude, a bigger, heavier set woman wearing glasses with hair in a bun.“

Loved the greeting with a smile that I received when I walked in by the young man behind the counter. he was totally surprised when I handed him an envelope and explained that I had missed the drop off date. One has to lower expectations given that this is within the university and caters to a diverse set of diners, so the tastes are milder vs the local Asian staples. A good representation nonetheless of Asian cuisine. The dining area is soley outdoors but relatively clean and provides a good campus spot to have ones meal and to meet up. No toilets available.

Vegetarian options: Counter style gives you options but ask servers on specific ingredients used

Parking: Stanford University parking system in effect while free parking lots are further situated with the use of free shuttles

Kid-friendliness: Ample options for kid's tastes

“I really enjoyed my Friday morning visit around 10 a.m. There was about a 5-minute wait, a short line, and all the chairs were taken, lots of people standing around and the space was loud and crowded. I was meeting a friend, and even in the bustle we were able to have a wonderful conversation. By about 10:30, the crowd thinned out, and we found a table to enjoy not just our conversation but also some delicious coffee.

She ordered a flat white and loved it, saying it had a caramel-like taste. I had the Tahitian vanilla latte with oat milk (so good!) and an avocado toast. Next time, I’ll definitely order the avocado toast with an egg and try the miso latte the barista recommended.

The café has seating for maybe 15–20 people, either individually or paired up. Overall, a great spot, I’ll definitely be back!“

“She is wonderful to work with. I have used her twice now. Once for a Mickey Mouse Twoodles cake and just recently for a baby shower. We got lemon for the cake and snickerdoodle for the cupcakes and when I tell you everyone loved them both. Her cakes are delicious and she does and amazing job with decorating them you send her a picture of what you want and she will not disappoint.“
