“Love the Molcajete with Cayó,. Wish they would just add avocado slices to the bigger, for the price should have a few included. Always have to ask for some after we pick up food. Kids chicken nuggets are a bit overpriced so if you have picky eaters don't take them. They should move their trash cans away from customers entrance or parking lot, the smell of rotten fish almost kills my appetite. Other than that food is great, music always playing nice and loud.“

“I’ve been waiting a long time for Fresno to get another Korean place. Finally, it’s here and it’s delicious! I got the combo beef short ribs wish the seafood and beef tofu soup. Holy moly was it tasty. Everything was so good even the 6 sides. I will be a regular customer for sure. They will give you refills of the sides if you really love one in particular. Go there, it’s amazing!

“I’ve been enjoying Castillo’s since 2002. It’s always worth the long drive. The hospitality is unmatched! Customer Service is phenomenal. The food is always fresh and fast! I love their pico de gallo. Mmmmwahhh it’s muy perfecto! 💗 This place is immaculate. Affordably priced. I have zero complaints! The wine does its job. The music here reflects their culture. I just can’t say enough. Make this place your once a week addition! You won’t regret it!“

“The Xinantecatl Restaurant arose on our horizon after a week of backpacking in the Sierras. I'm sure it wasn't only the contrast with rehydrated camping food while slapping hummingbird-sized mosquitoes. But this place is the real deal! Each person in our five person party descended into reverential silence while enjoying fajitas, salad with steak, camarones a la veracruzana (spicy and savory) and camarones a la diablo (SPICY and savory). Meals were served with hot corn tortillas following complimentary excellent thick cut tortilla chips and both red and tomatillo salsas, both tangy and yummy. The man who greeted us was also the chef and waiter, a charming guy on top of talented and efficient cook and cultural translator (ask him what the restaurant name means!).  Complimentary ice creams were his final gift as we departed home to the showers he never let on knowing that we needed.  I'll be back for sure whenever I'm in town!“

“I want to give a big shout out to a manager at the Fresno location by the name of Chris. He truly went above and beyond to make my friend's 83rd birthday special. My friend has dietary restrictions due to his health issues and this dinner almost didn't happen if it wasn't for Chris. Give this man a raise! We both had filets and baked potatoes, which were excellent, done to perfection, and the steaks were deserving of the term "melt in your mouth."“

“My family and I were visiting Yosemite and stopped to eat here. We ordered red snapper fillets, basa fillets, chili cheese fries, chili burger, and ceviche. Large portions, fresh tasty fish, and great tasting chili. We would go back if we were in Fresno again.“

“We have had the opportunity to enjoy various dishes, from Ceviche to Enchiladas, Caldo Seafood Mix to Pescado Frito. The Shrimp Empandas and homemade corn tortillas are a treat as well. However, we tried their Shrimp Coctails, and they were pretty bland. But there are so many more dishes to try and sure to enjoy.

Btw - Their green salsa is fire and the Pescado Zarandeado is huge and delicious!“

“Freshly made highly flavored chicken bone in or the ever so amazingly tasting tenders with some jojo's makes coming here to an almost to busy but controlled environment clean store and not the worst cashiers in Fresno at least they do crack a smile for you. Tel, the truth it's quite like a family environment. I don't know what else to say other than go down there and give it a shot the food will be worth it. Have a good one!!!“
