“There is just something different about small town Chinese places that can make them hidden gems. They tend to have great food for the price. They have a bit of that nostalgic feel to them as they likely haven't updated the decor in generations. They are humble and focus on the likes of their community. Full Moon is a perfect example of this. Their lunch special is a great deal. Your typical list of entrees (I got Generals Chicken) with rice or chow mein, a springroll/eggroll and a bowl of soup. All of it was very tasty and despite being a slow Sunday afternoon, tasted freshly made. The owners cook and serve and do everything. And they are super nice.
If you ever find yourself in Galt, Full Moon Palace is worth checking out!“

“I truly appreciate the kind and giving nature of the staff. I have allergies and they were so accommodating and understanding. The staff member whom helped me pick my pizza was very proud of the pizza and offered suggestions. I even was gifted pizza upon my exit , even though I was there for the buffet. Going above and beyond my expectations is something that sets this chain location apart for Not only Mountain Mike's Pizza but all other restaurants in the area. I will now drive out of my way when I want pizza and wing's. I'll end up at this Mountain Mike's on Twin Cities Rd every time.“

“They're so friendly and the food is on point. Everything we've had here is great from the udon, chicken katsu, and sushi. Definitely the best in Galt, and much better than most of the Japanese restaurants in Lodi and Elkgrove. I wish the prices were a little less or the rolls a little larger, but overall a very good place for delicious food.“

“I love this place, first off the wor wonton soup is super good. Like maybe my new favorite, I’m really impressed. The broth is exactly what I was expecting, even better. The favor is exceptional and it’s loaded up with all the veggies meats and wontons. The wontons themselves are perfect. I might be their number one fan now. Wor wonton soup is my comfort food 🤤

Also the combo plates are really good, the chicken always has the perfect crisp, not crunchy or over crooked. I always get the combo plates but haven’t had the wor wonton soup til tonight. Don’t overlook the place, super nice people, great food and it’s affordable. Big portions.“

“The Old Time Diner is one of my favorite breakfast and lunch box. They have wheelchair access, and honor veterans and active duty service men and women. They also honor law enforcement men and women, and very friendly atmosphere. The house omelette is fantastic, the prime rib sandwich is fantastic, and the best mimosas I've ever had. Prices are very reasonable.

Parking: Long parking lot behind restaurant. Limited parking in front. Outdoor eating area next to parking lot in an enclosed picnic style environment.

Kid-friendliness: Jr Hamburgers/ cheese burgers, French fries, chicken strips, high chairs, grilled cheese sandwich, corn dogs, hot dogs, and sodas.

Wheelchair accessibility: Front door and rear door at ground level and flat to roll into building. Two all gender rest rooms.“

“This spot is truly a hidden cove. The service was phenomenal and the food was great! I got the Mongolian BBQ. The amount of options were decent. I have been to places that had more veggies to choose from but that can be overkill. They had a decent amount of relevant choices and I was satisfied. The food was delicious and the price was in alignment with the quality of the food. I will be definitely going back when I'm in the Galt area.“
