“No time for lunch on our way back after working in Pebble Beach, it's 5pm, starved, my coworker who I'm dropping off in Gilroy says no I'm not hungry, translated, he's very picky. As we're headed down Monterey, he says, hey, what about BBQ 152, I said, never heard of it, he says "it's really good", so I said, let's do it. Getting him to stop and eat somewhere is not an easy feat.We park, and immediately there's a fun, cool vibe just from the parking lot and outdoor dining area. Walk inside and there's a funky, country vibe and of course that amazing BBQ Smoke smell... Ordered 2 brisket sandwhich's, one with mac n cheese, one with potato salad. Seemed like 2 or 3 minutes, but no sooner had we sat down and they brought the food out, surprisingly fast. Brisket had incredible flavor, melt in your mouth softness, nice sourdough bun basted with garlic butter, it was HEAVAN. Def stopping here again to try the ribs among other options. Very impressed, can only imagine what it's like during the summer with their huge outdoor eating area and outdoor window, this place must get rocking. “You can't go wrong with L&L. There is nothing else like it here in town. Order ahead, order in store or have it delivered. They never get your order wrong. Everything is cooked when you order it, not sitting around for hours. I can't figure it out, but whatever they put in their Mac salad makes it so tasty. Good sized servings. Great customer service. It's always on point. Don't forget to sign up for their loyalty program. Not only is the food great, they give some of it to you for free when you are a rewards member. Doesn't get any better. If you haven't had it, you gotta try it.“

Delicious baked goods... yesterday I had the best strawberry lemon scone I have Ever had, and for the first time I tried their special item in the basket by the register and it was so good baked bread filled with cream cheese and jalapeño Wow! “Pretty fun little outdoor grill and eating area but beware the heat. It's rough during the summer.They are very kind and flexible. “Super delicious and thank goodness it's close to my house! We saved ourselves a drive to San Jose for Korean food but it's a small little place. It's great food and ramen. My husband and I enjoyed a little date night here. The Binbinbap (sp?) is awesome, not as much beef as what I'm used to getting but plenty of veggies and rice. My husband got the ramen and it was great. We will be back!“
“I'm not a fan of order at the register, and then set yourself and get your own drinks. Other than that, I love this place. The salad was fresh, and the dressing was delicious. The brisket was melt in your mouth, and no sauce was required. The sauce did take it to another level. The potato salad was good as well. Highly recommend the brisket (some of the best I have had).“
“Mike's Backyard BBQ catered or son's wedding on 10/22/22. The food was outstanding the best ribs we ever had. His tri-tip and chicken were also very good. His wife's homemade potatoe salad was really good! Plenty of food, very classy set up. He brought his big bbq in to the venue early in the day and cooked it for our dinner. I highly recommend him.
