“Cup of Love - is absolutely 100% correct. I visit Sonoma occasionally for work, and I usually stay at the Best Western next door.I've been meaning to visit her for about a year, and I finally stopped to grab a cup of coffee on a very cold December day. I'm so glad I did! Both owner/operators were there and were super warm and friendly. I ordered one of their holiday specials, Gingerbread chai, and I made it dirty ;)So good!! So perfect for a holiday weekend. Thank you so much!!!“
“I could not resist coming here after seeing their creative menu! And it was WORTH it. I came here with my boyfriend and we each got two drinks because we were so curious and excited, lol: the Aztec, the Horchata Latte, the Bourbon Coconut Latte and a regular mocha. They were all sooo good - the Horchata Latte being the star of the day.We also each got an empanada: beef and vegetarian, also fantastic. Word of warning though - they are far smaller than I expected. I thought we were going to get something the size of a hand pie but they're about half that big. I'm personally okay with that because they were extremely tasty and I wasn't looking to eat much. $7 for the size would probably be a bit pricey to some people, but I think for something local, and so good, it's fair. Plus the coffee is surprisingly inexpensive for an artisan coffee house so it balances out.You can sit by the river in either a lounge chair, at a picnic bench, or a table with chairs, with the offer of sun cover if you want it. The lovely view of the river with a bit of bird watching is a wonderful way to enjoy a meal! The only thing I really didn't like was that they use those awful paper straws for their drinks in the interest of being environmentally conscious. I appreciate the sentiment, but there are sturdier compostable straws that exist! I don't know why these terrible straws are still around, plaguing cafes everywhere. Everyone hates them. That's hardly something that would keep me from going back though. ☺️ I'll be back soon.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free empanada available for $2 more, plus salads.“
“These drinks are amazing and worth the drive. They are better than Starbucks and worth the price. I love that everything was really fast and smooth. The customer service is absolutely incredible. Very friendly ladies here who will never fail to put a smile on your face.“
“I was visiting a friend in California when she took me to this coffee shop. It's a very small tiny little Hut that has a billion people working in it. But they operate at extremely fast pace and all appear to be very pleasant and willing to assist. You take the drive through to order and then pull up to a window for pickup. There's not much parking but it really is meant to be a drive-thru type of establishment. I had never been to this place before not here in California or anywhere else. So for my first time I have to be very honest, it was the absolute very best coffee I had ever had! I would absolutely recommend for a visit!“
“We were on our way from Napa to Calistoga and decided to stop by St. Helena for some shopping and to grab some breakfast. It was Saturday morning and we got there at about 11 am. We got so lucky because we were able to get seated right away, even though the place was packed. I wouldn't be surprised if there are long wait times, especially on the weekend. I think the fact that it was raining helped us to get seated quickly. So charming inside, absolutely no frills but you can tell by going in that they have that home cooked charm. I was surprised that their menu was large, quite a diner experience. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with fries. The portions were big and I just had half my sandwich and some fries at the diner since I was supposed to be eating light before going to the spa. The sandwich was delicious, simple but done right. Staff was friendly, bathroom was clean. The establishment does not have their own parking, street parking only. I highly recommend this place.“
“This is a very cute little donut shop. There are no places to sit inside, but there is space outside to hangout. There is a display outside that shows a few kind of the donuts which is so enticing. There was not a long wait and when you step inside there is a much longer menu on the wall, which gave me no time to contemplate on what I wanted. Eventually we got the raspberry sauce donuts. My toddler is into sprinkles and but I don't like sprinkles so we ended up getting her a bigger one donut. It was a gluten free donut and was $4. The dozen mini donuts were $8 and seemed like a much better deal and was so fun to eat. After you order, you can see the little mini donuts being friend behind the clear plexiglass. It was so fun for my toddler to watch. We also ordered a rose latte and a lavender latte. The donuts were so good!!! They were not like cake donuts or raised donuts, but they were light and flavorful. The lattes were bitter, which went well with the donuts. We forgot that lattes had coffee (not coffee drinkers), and I just thought they were flavored milks (too use to boba places), so two cups of lattes was too much coffee for us. Overall, this place was enjoyable and a nice find!“
“I do not know how else to write this. Amazing crew, great coffee and tea. I really like this place.....But the restroom is outside in the cold in a portojohn. Coffee makes many people go (if you catch the drift-like I currently am). Having to go in the cold, windy and smelly john is not good.“
“Food was delicious, each entree was fairly big and felt shareable too. The lady taking your order was in a horrible mood and didn’t care if she shared it to others. Parking was a little confusing and seating it very limited. Pastries were very good too. We got the idea to come here because of sunflower cafe carrying their pastries.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread was very good.“
“Made a pit stop here, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good it was! We loved the aqus flat bread. We also got the aqus flatbread, Mediterranean flatbread, salmon nicoise salad, and smoked chicken flatbread. The aqus was my favorite. I thought it might be too rich, but the duck and gorgonzola were well balanced, and the duck was juicy. The menu was really well priced, which was unexpected considering all the fresh ingredients.“
“Always a 5-star experience at Layla - from checking in with the host staff, to the lovely dining room space, to the great friendly service and the outstanding food. We love Layla and try to come in at least once a week if not more: we always aim to support local and their hospitality is matchless in Sonoma! Highly recommended - we, particularly, like breakfast/brunch!“
“I’ve been here twice now, and can’t get enough! I tried the minty chocolate ice cream that they had, can’t remember the name and it was delicious. But my absolute favorite was the lavender ice cream with the gluten-free waffle cone. I do not have a gluten intolerance, but I ordered it because the waffle cone was cinnamon flavored and it was amazing.“
“This place is fantastic. Upon entering you are greeted with smiles and the aroma of the food is out of this world. Everything on the menu is delicious and I am speaking from experience. The outdoor patio is beautiful and the ambiance is just perfect. You can grab a coffee to go but I highly recommend staying for the food and the experience.“
“Just picked up my lunch and the first sip to my long waited americano had a very bad after taste, in a figurative way because it was delicious. The lid you have doesn't fit the cup and as you can see on the picture, I had to come back to the office with a not very glamorous coffee stain on my blouse. Not mentioning the mess it left on my car's cup holder and the hassle carrying it because it didn't stop dripping. Not cool.I'm not sure if you'll keep being my favorite coffee place in Saint Helena because on top of this, you don't have the cherry almond scone anymore. The later is the worst.“
“Love getting tea from here and it is super close to my work. The staff is super nice. Would recommend stopping here even if you're just passing through.Vegetarian options: I believe they have quite a few options. I haven't tried it myself but I'm sure it is delicious.Parking: It's the east Washington shopping center so many, many parking spaces.Kid-friendliness: It is a coffee and tea shop so kids are allowed in there. But it would be a nice environment if you want to enjoy coffee and have your kids with you.“
“I just got the Iced Mexican Mocha and oh my god it was phenomenal! I have yet to try any other drinks, but I'll most likely have tried the whole menu before too long! Stay local and have a nice cup of coffee here, you won't be disappointed!“
“Best Ice Cream in Sonoma Valley, with unique flavors to try. Superb mochas too. Great, friendly service, and owned by a local family. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Easy to get to with a parking area off the main road and a safe little outdoor eating plaza.Wheelchair accessibility: No ramps and flat grade from wheelchair parking to the shop interior.“
“I recently celebrated my birthday with a cake from Scandia Bakery in Sonoma, and it was a delightful experience! My wife surprised me with their red velvet with chocolate cake, and it was absolutely scrumptious. The cake was moist, the frosting was decadent, and every bite was pure bliss. If you're in Sonoma and craving a delicious treat, I highly recommend stopping by Scandia Bakery. You won't be disappointed!“
“Stopped in based on yelp reviews looking something different for lunch and the name of the restaurant sounded interesting. Walking in you are greeted by super friendly staff, bright and full of light kitchen and dinning room with some but not lots of seating. I ordered the Napa Turkey sandwich with fruit. The Napa Turkey sandwich came with turkey, cheddar cheese, avocado, spinach, tomato, with house aioli on a ciabatta roll. The sandwich comes together in the panini press. All of the ingredients were super fresh and crisp. The protein, to produce, to bread ratio was perfect and the house aioli was a nice touch. The hand cut fresh pineapple, strawberries, and green apple, was a nice palate cleanser and wasn't overly sweet. I'd rather have really good simple food and El Huerto really makes simple food shine. I'd go back if I was ever in the area again.“
“I recently started coming to this coffee shop because I commute about 2hours to work every morning. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The food is doughnuts, pastry's and breakfast burritos. I love my glazed twist doughnuts! Also, you can never go wrong with a iced chai tea latte. Their coffees are a bit on the sweeter side, so I add two shots of espresso into it and it's perfect! This place does not disappoint. The ambiance is wonderful, decorated with rustic motor bikes and rustic architecture. 5/5 stars I highly suggest visiting if you're in the Sonoma area.“
“Love this little place. The Alice in Wonderland art is so cute! We got potato cakes, eggs, and a quinoa bowl. All of it was good. It took a while but it's ok...I'd rather have food that someone put some time into rather than slopping it on a plate. Nice staff.“
“Get here early or you'll wait in line to get a table. Beautiful set up inside. You can sit to dine or just go to the pastry or bread line to purchase baked goods to take home. Love the French bistro vibe. We sat at the community table. Not too bad. Didn't like the cold air hitting me every time the door opened but, hey, I've got a seat. While my party sat down, I wandered to check out the pastries. Everything looked absolutely scrumptious! Difficult to decide but I ended up selecting these pastries to take home. You can also just order from here and bring it to your table. Blueberry Cloud Chocolate Croissant Apple Braid Jam & Cream When I returned to my table, my party had already ordered their coffees. Gorgeous gigantic lattes and I ordered a cappuccino. Took a minute for coffees to arrive. Dishes are large portions. Plated nicely and looked amazing. We ordered: A cup of Asparagus Soup - delicate but full of flavor. If you love asparagus, you'll enjoy this. Corned Beef Hash - generous portion of meat topped with 2 perfectly poached eggs. Hope you're hungry! Croque Madame Egg Breakfast Service was great. Our waitress was friendly and professional. She always checked on us. She had a great attitude.“
“Tremendous service from phone to counter! They had another swim mom's soy milk latte and my coffee ready to go as they finished up the Joe's Special (ground beef, scrambled eggs, basil, onion, seasonings, parm) that included country style potatoes. Breakfast was a little greasy; I ordered for a protein punch my swimmer needed without it being heavy. It was kind of heavy and I don't think it's their best dish. What I **wanted to order was the roast beef sandwich: For under $10, it's rare roast beef with Brie and tomato jam (Ruh roh, tomato jam? Gimme some of that!) I now see they sell the jam and trust me, I'm there next time there's a meet at Sonoma State. JavAmore Cafe is a sweet spot two miles from Sonoma State in a cute little shopping center with plentiful free parking. They couldn't have been nicer, such attentive service and the restaurant was immaculate.“
“Really cool and helpful owner. Was nice enough to climb up and plug in my phone when I couldn't reach the outletAlso, the breve latte I got was well made. I suggested adding gluten free bread to the menu but other than that the sandwich bar looked good and the pastries did tooSeems like a good spot to grab a quick coffee or sit down for a bit, and it's the closest thing to the marina“
“Terrific coffee.Amazing breakfast burritos.Wide variety of homemade baked goods.Convenient location.Friendly service!Right there that's the recipe for a five star review!Colleen delivers all of these elements.I always like to support local businesses where possible, it's an added bonus when the owner is kind and cheerful, which makes me glad that I came here, and look forward to coming back.My wife and I have been here taking care of Family Matters, and this has become a regular stop each day. Consistently, everything has been terrific here. If you're in the area looking for a coffee, a muffin, or a quick breakfast, this is the spot!Parking is super convenient, and there's plenty of places to sit inside if you want to just enjoy your coffee and burrito here.TLDR; Great coffee! Great breakfast burritos!“
“Was in Sonoma for the weekend and my favorite dining experience was here! The portions and quality of the food are exceptional. The folks running the spot clearly have a lot of pride for what they do and really set my day off to a good start. I had the breakfast burrito and was overwhelmed by the amount -- but it was delicious. The jelly donut is amazing too. This is a must-do next time I come to Sonoma.“
“I’ve never been able to justify eating a cookie a day but that’s exactly what I did during my time in Sonoma. These chocolate chip cookies are quite literally the best find of the year. Go early and buy as many as you can without being selfish.“
“The baristas here are incredibly friendly and accommodating--I really love an iced Americano with sparkling water, and this is one of the few places I can get one. The coffee is delicious, and you can camp out here and get work done (or at least pretend to get work done, haha). :)“
“This place rocks! Drive thru right off the freeway w/ great unique coffee dranks. I hit it often on my commute to and from Santa Rosa. There must be a college nearby, bc all of the employees are cute college-aged girls. Did Java Hit do this on purpose? If so, genius move. I love this place so much I gave it an unofficial motto: "Java Hut: Hot chicks, iced coffee." I will only expect a 10% fee & title credits if the business owner adopts that banger of a motto.“
“I work in st helena sometimes and have been wanting to check out this new spot. I found parking directly in front of the cafe on the street. the outside is so cute. The entrance is an arch that leads to a cute patio. Perfect for catching up with a friend or two. Inside is the cafe where u order and the store. I ordered the banh mi and a chocolate shake. My husband ordered a drip coffee. The food took a while and they forget the coffee. They did bring it after we asked for it. My shake was delicious. I love that they have strauss shakes and ice cream. I do think the consistency could have been thicker but it was still good. The banh mi had pickled veggies and grass fed beef on sourdough. There was also some kind of sriracha on top. I liked the taste of the meat. It was good to share. the aesthetic of this cafe/store is so upscale, chic, and country at the same time. They sell dishes, cards, couches, some dishes, and jewelry. I would come back again for the strauss yogurt parfait or to try some porridge.“
“For several days we went to The Model Bakery and were massively disappointed in how the staff treated guests. We couldn't take it anymore and tried Napa Valley Coffee Roasting Company our last day in the Napa Valley. I wish we had come here day one. The food menu is limited, but everything is great. The coffee tastes fresh, and the employees were all kind. Highly recommend as your morning breakfast/coffee run if you're in the valley.“
“Pink Owl Coffee won me over on day one. Fast and very friendly service backed up by a smokin' good cup of coffee. I usually get a Café au lait or a pour over. Try their Mocha Java beans...wonderful. I love to sit and relax for a while and plot out my day. The vegan muffins are delicious, as are the bacon-cheese croissants.“
“Love the Peet’s brand and this location is exceptional. Roomy, yet cozy layout which does not feel packed even when it’s very busy. The staff is super kind and hard working. Very accommodating and quick. Easy to find parking and nice music playing inside.“
“I want to love this place but the service was a turn-off for me. A long-awaited juice bar in Sonoma really excited me! I stopped while a new employee was being trained. I was the only customer. The trainer was knowledgeable about the different juices and gave a great recommendation. He suggested coconut milk. They were out. Then oat milk. No oat milk. We settled on almond milk. Then he had to go someplace else to get ice while I waited. The juice was good but I was there for about 20 minutes. I know this is "slow-noma" but that was too much. The juice was delicious, the place was cute and clean but they need to get things prepped before opening. This was after 10am, btw. I gave an extra star because I don't want people to think it's not a good stop. It is! Just step up the service and you'll be amazing!“
“This is a great place to get croissants and many more. I have bought so many croissants from this location and it is by far the best croissants I have eaten so far in my life. I don't know why people have lef less than 5 star reviews. The guys who attend this place are very friendly and always have a big smile. They are always very friendly, always. I definitely recommend this place. I have been buying from this place for more than 2 years now. Something I really like about the croissants from this location is that they are very crunchy. The croissants from other locations are somewhat soft and it's not my preferred way of eating croissants.“
“Peets is one of the better coffee franchises out there and I love their coffee. For this visit, I tried their matcha green tea latte. The tea flavor was rather weak and I didn't quite enjoy it so much. There was a very subtle hint of matcha flavor. I will stick to coffee at Peets and not order this drink again. This not so great experience doesn't take away from the high quality coffee Peets has to offer.“
“The pastries, coffee and other baked goods are so memorable. I don't know how someone could just get one thing! The staff had electric personalities and very quick, which got people moving. There was about five people ahead of me but I was served in less than five minutes it felt like. I got an oatmeal latte with plenty of pastries. This is a must go to bakery! There's an outside and indoor seating area. Plenty of room for friends, family, and your pets!“
