“We’ve come here a few times and always enjoy ourselves. A lot of specialty IPAs and pretty decent prices on some of them. I had the black and blue heart cider and it was scrumptious. Nice and tart. It’s still a little sweet and a little effervescence. Love me a 7% ABV with a seltzer! Very cozy fun vibes. Comfortable bar seating as well as comfortable booth seating. Nice little outdoor patio and then an area to play games at your hearts content! Pool table inside ping-pong, table, and foosball table outside. Darts board games you name it very cozy couch and tables out on the patio as well. Partially covered. Alistair was very attentive to my friend, but didn’t seem to feel compelled to take care of me lol. A lot of fun eye candy on the walls. Vintage goodies. Will definitely be back.“

“We went here on a date night and booked online reservations last minute. Literally 30min prior. Valet parking only in the lot $10. Place was very cute and intimate. We were seated right away. We first ordered the Boquerone en Jardinera (White Anchovies w/ Bell Peppers Scallions & Lemon). Which was probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten. As far as the rest of the items, I’ll list below. My wife and I felt that everything was very heavy on the salt. Now, we love seasoned food. But the salt, you have to know when to stop. Almost inedible. We were also recommended some wine to pair with some of the food items and the wine was amazing. The other items were;
Creamy Artichoke
Chickpeas Tahini Lemon Black Sesame Seeds. (Super salty, but came with the perfect flat bread)
Ancient Grain & Radicchio
Pecorino Romano Mint Market Vegetables
Lemon Dressing Walnuts (this could’ve done without the mint leaves, very bitter, but maybe they could’ve added some candied walnuts or pomegranate seeds to lighten it up)
Albondigas
Spanish Inspired Beef Meatballs
(The sauce was very good, still salty but the meat balls were little balls of salt)
We ended the night with the best flan we have had. Orange flan with pistachio. The combination was defiantly unexpected but worked beautifully.
Over all, I think there is a lot of potential, I just wish they had held back on the salt that night.“

“The food and service were awesome. However, I did order a latke and caviar but didn’t get it nor was I charged. I guess it was missed somehow. Either way we had more than enough food. Thank you to our waitress for recommending me the fish and chips, it was tasty. Oh and the Sweetbun Crown was AMAZING.“

“Always a good interaction when coming to Z Falafel. The cooks are such nice guys and always so helpful when I may ask about one of their many options on the menu. I always try to switch up my plate when I come here and not once have I had a disappointing meal from this location. Keep going hard!“

“We had such a wonderful time. Amazing wine & terrific food!“
“This is my second time at Butterfly and it was amazing for dinner however breakfast was okay (3/5). I ordered the poached egg Benedict and my sister ordered chilaquiles and we both felt the food needed more seasoning, very bland and overpriced. The chilaquiles did not have any avocado which was a bit disappointing. I recommend their main menu/ breakfast not so much. I will say their service is great, the waiter was very attentive.“

“My first time in LA and Melanie Wine Bar did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the wines were phenomenal and the vibe was just right. Our flight was delayed, and the team at Melanie worked with us on our reservation. 10/10, it will now be a staple in my visits back to LA.“

“We loved the authentic noodles and warm hospitality. Our lovely server also recommended me to drink the Tenth degree ginjo instead of regular sake, which I liked a lot.“

“Truly phenomenal. The chicken entree and winter salad were unreal. We couldn’t stop gushing over it. We had the pleasure of live music on the back patio and the ambiance was perfect. Wait staff was incredibly kind, efficient, and present. Its one of those spots you’ll want to keep coming back to 💗“

“Can't believe I've slept on this restaurant for years.
The food does the talking here.
1. Steamed Rice Cakes with Taro 4/5
2. Spring Rolls with Chicken 5/5, an herbaceous dish, served with a subtly spicy fish sauce
3. Shaking lamb cubes 5/5, great with the Italian red
4. Weaving rice noodle with fish 5/5, the fried shallots pop in this dish
5. Clay pot rice with fish 10/5 - just get this
The remodeled interior is very welcoming, modern, and has interesting art and motorbikes from Vietnam. Classical music in background (chef's kiss).
Also great that the place serves demi-bottles of reasonably priced wine. Beer's great too.
Our server exuded hospitality, very attentive, and proud to tell us about the chef/restaurateur.
Thanks for having us. We'll be back!“

“Food and service were fine; we would consider return visits. However, indoor dining was much to noisy, we could barely hear each other talk over the din...painfully noisy because I had to adjust my hearing aids to the max volume using the restaurant noise reduction setting just to hear bits and pieces of intelligible conversation. Otherwise, I would only be able to hear noise. It took a few hours after leaving for my hearing to recover. We would only return during warmer weather so we could sit outside, where there's not the sound bouncing off of all the hard surfaces.“

“One of the best meals I’ve had recently in LA. Everything ordered was prepared excellently and the service was friendly and on point. The lamb biryani was a standout for our party. The only bit of criticism is that the dining room is obnoxiously loud and it was difficult to have a conversation. The acoustics are terrible.
This is a restaurant definitely worth trying.“

“Grabbed a res day of to stop here before a show at the Wiltern and what a perfect little plan that was! I told them we were tight on time because of a show and they went out of their way to accommodate, making sure we got our table as soon as possible and fired all our food QUICKLY! We had some great recommended soju and 5 dishes between 2 people. Our favorites were the salmon kimbap, the uni tteok-bokki and the shrimp toast. (Note, we don’t eat red meat so cannot comment on those dishes). The crudo was a tad overdressed but fish was fresh. Highly recommend for a small party for pre show or pre night out dinner.“

“Love mignon! Reminds me of my Parisian days. The burrata and baguette plate was delightful. It also has like a honey and some nuts/ dried figs on the side. I came for happy hour which lasts until 7pm weekdays and all day Sunday. I highly recommend if you want something chill and also if you’re a solo traveler.“

“Heading to Boyle Heights to hangout with friends and my hunnis and I stumbled on this bar. The tacos were really good. They were a little pricey but I like trying new spots. I had a fried shrimp taco & grill shrimp taco. My hunnis got an asada taco and a fried shrimp taco as well. They even made me a virgin margarita. We had to park on the streets which could be a hassle but we were fortunate to get a close up spot. We stopped in there on a Friday afternoon and there wasn’t many folks in there. But it had a cool vibe. We will visit again!“

“Nice service with a lovely intimate atmosphere. This place has so much potential to be amazing. It’s not traditional Greek food and the flavor disappointed a bit for some dishes however, the lamb and wagyu skewer were INSANELY good but insultingly small.“

“Had an awesome experience at Brews Brothers! My wife and I tried their burgers and fries, and everything was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
What really made the night special was the atmosphere and the people. I had a great conversation with the owner, which made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming.
Amazing food, great vibes, and even better people. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. Keep up the great work, guys! 🍔🍻“

“Thank you to our server Maria for being absolutely marvellous. She was not only the best server ever, but gave us amazing tips on where to go and what to do while in LA. Thanks to Maria, we visited great art galleries and had beautiful meals. Can’t thank her enough!“
“No vegan food options. Very few food options in general. They don’t have a hostess so we had to just catch a waitress walking by us. The seating is really only designed for drinks, not for actual plates. I had a Caesar salad minus sardines and the dressing had too much horseradish. The view is 10/10“

“I had a great experience at Anju House in Koreatown. I ordered the jjampong soup and it was amazing — super fresh and full of flavor. I also tried the seafood fried rice, which is one of my favorites, and it did not disappoint. The asado was perfectly cooked, very soft, and really flavorful. I also want to give a special thank you to the food runner for the excellent service. Overall, great food and great experience.“

Pantalla inmensa de televisión. En el interior del local pueder ver maceteros de plantas muy bien conservadas. Para la vista al exterior calle Hill hay una ventana grande y la puerta principal. “I haven't been able to try this restaurant since it reopened and I had just the time to do so today. All the dim sum was great, just no BBQ pork buns 😂. The dumplings were thin skinned and tender and tasted similar to what I had in China and the waiters were friendly!“

“The view of the city is spectacular! The food is lovely though strange to have so much served in paper and plastic. The gambas were very tasty and the burger was nice though high priced. Sangria was different and served a bit like a Capri-Sun en una bolsa. Overall nice though almost every table was underneath a speaker with loudish music.“

“We ordered shrimp taco, Korean bowl, Korean burrito, bahn mi burrito and street corn. The street corn tasted just like the ones we buy from food carts. We loved it. Same with the bowl and burritos. They were so delicious and filling.
Don’t skip on the red velvet churros. It was so good! It’s warm, crunchy and that cream cheese dip was delicious.“

“Bacari Glendale: It is a beautiful place we have always wanted to go to. We took two friends for a belated birthday dinner (and as the staff realized it was just that, they even rewarded us with a delicious birthday dessert :-). Great service, nice ambiance, and delicious food - we had the bread (could have been a bit more for the $4,50), then shared the Mac & Cheese topped up with the pear and brie pizza that was the best.“
