Super decadent, generous with the sauce (you can request a small scoop of rice for free afterwards to finish off the sauce), great noodle texture, amazing taste!! The first bite was heaven.

Looks small at first but that’s just because the bowl is big/I was struggling to finish halfway through.

“I decided to order some Tonkatsu from Ginkgo Katsu, on a food delivery app based on the good reviews. Thankfully the reviews were on-point this time! The Katsu arrived in this kind of fancy, big box with the meal in different sections - the Tonkatsu, rice, cabbage salad, Katsu sauce; then separately was the curry sauce (I ordered extra), pickled veggies, dressing. Everything was delicious with generous portions. I would most definitely get a meal from Ginkgo Katsu, again and again“

The place was clean and the food was delicious. I had the salt & pepper shrimp and my husband had the kung pao. I have to admit that when we walked in, I had my doubts. The place was empty and there were boxes stacked up in the dining area. Most likely bz they just got supplies but it didn't do much for the atmosphere. However, the gentleman who served us was very nice and didn't overly bug us. He would keep an eye to see if we were low on drinks but was not hovering. This is something I always appreciate. He noticed I ate all the jalapeño peppers and even let me know I could request it spicier next time. The missing half has very little to do with them or their food.
They are hidden away in a tiny spot so not too easy to find but the worth the effort. I definitely plan to return.“

“I used to come here regularly and my first visit was back in 2001. The food and service has always been great. Mimi had quite the personality and perhaps some might've thought she was rude but I loved the character that she added. I'm not sure if she's still there but I know today I saw Yohan who has always been the most lovely pleasant server ever. I've heard some people tell me that it isn't the same and it has fallen down hill but today I went in with my father and I still enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. These are the THE BEST California rolls I've ever had. You can't beat the price on the quality of these rolls. Thank you for still making food I enjoy.“

“Have been coming to Sushi & Roll for a couple of months. My son and i love the sashimi, Sapporo, and rainbow rolls. My wife and sister enjoy the gyoza, baked salmon, and chiken karagi. “Located right next to Cal Poly college, Jinza Teriyaki is a great spot to eat after classes, my all time favorite is the Loco Moco bowl. The people are incredibly nice and especially early the place is a nice quite area to eat in. “It's a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, no fancies. But the food is the star here. I usually have the rich Japanese curry with a side of breaded chicken. My 9 year old is infatuated with the humongous kid meal, and we usually get a sandwich to go. Price is right, and people are friendly without frills. It's a regular on out list.“
