“We took a chance and stopped by and service and food has improved!

We won’t go back! Don’t know whether the management has changed or just doesn’t care about this place anymore. When attempting to phone in an order there’s no answer. They’ve either unplugged or just ignoring the ring for the past few weeks. The last time we were in several of the customers said the same thing. When we questioned the dark haired woman and so-called manager that was there they stated specifically “BY LAW WE DON’T HAVE TO TAKE ORDERS BY PHONE”. REALLY, what great customer service!
But the worst part of our last visit was that we observed them using the same rag to wipe down everything in back. No concern of where and what the rag was wiping. Additionally, they don’t remove they’re gloves to use the cash register!! They have plexiglass to guard against disease, but who’s guarding us against they’re filthy habits?“

“Stopped by for an afternoon sandwich. This is a nice little shop with sandwiches and Vietnamese food.
The people behind the counter are really friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering a #7 pork sandwich. It was really good. What impressed me the most and stood out was the fresh vegetables in the sandwich. They were crisp and refreshing with every bite. I really enjoyed this sandwich!

Anissa (I hope I am spelling that right) took my order and truly impressed me with her efficiency. She handled everything from running the register to prepping food and organizing to go orders. Despite the busy crowd, she was friendly, thorough, and quick. The restaurant was clean and well organized and the employes worked seamlessly as a team. Great Food, great service.“

“Defrankos was our first stop on our 12 day vacation from Canada. We got off the flyaway and walked down a few blocks with all of our luggage in tow. The staff were incredibly friendly, they gave us such a warm welcome to California… but beyond that the food was AMAZING. We are currently sitting at the airport going over our trip and all 3 of us agreed the very best food we had on this trip were our 3 subs from Defrankos. ❤️

“The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.“

“I have been looking for quinoa all over LA. This place serves it and it is very good. The mix has just the right amount of dried sweet cranberries and a few chickpeas. It was perfect. I had a salad with tuna avocado and egg salad. I was able to sub the egg salad for tuna which was very nice of them. They gave me a fork full of a mayonnaise free tuna they had prepared on the way out which again was a great experience. This is the kind of place that you feel cares and you'd want to keep going back to. A+++“

Parking: There’s street parking all around the intersection, just depends how much you need to walk. Service is usually quick enough that I can put in a quarter for 15 minutes at the meter and I leave well before it runs out.“

“They have some vegan options and items you can modify to vegan. I had the Chinese chicken salad sub grilled tofu. It had wonderful flavors and was delicious. Items that are vegan on the menu will have a V or will tell you how to make a dish vegan under the description. Friendly staff, they deliver the food to your table. I would recommend this place to people with dietary restrictions.“

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fat Sal's, and it was an unforgettable experience! “These Vietnamese sandwiches are “The best sandwiches in town” as advertised on their packaging. French bread is freshly baked for that perfect toast that’s not too dry as I’ve had at other spots. The sandwich was over 12inches long and made to order. My go to Vietnamese sandwich is grilled pork with everything and they are generous with the meat. Sandwiches are so good that I end up never saving the other half. They offer clean seats and tables but nothing to boast about.“

My mom and I ordered the garlic basil sandwich and my personal favorite the spicy chicken sandwich with Caesar salad.The oven baked bread is savory along with the ingredients and fresh guacamole in the sandwiches. “My family and I visited this location yesterday, Antonio took our order, his disposition, and he was very friendly and gave us suggestions. Hubby had a wrap, the elite it's new, I had the Italian herb and cheese foot long bread, and chose #8 garlic with olive oil, honey mastard and garlic oile my veggies, our lil one had kids meal, that was a good deal 6 inch sub, snack, cookie and juice. For the most part, it was tasty. However, too much SALT got from the grilled chicken, not to sure if the bread herb and cheese would have contributed and hubby said same thing SALT, thankfully the veggies helped and I am glad I didn't take the bacon. Subway take that into consideration, wherever you all source your rotisserie chicken from. Imagine eating this daily that sodium, can be a problem, for one, send up a person blood pressure, so be mindful when ordering. Our meal cost altogether $37.15 and he filled it up which was great. We got cookies, as combos are no longer available for the wrap or footlong. It has been a minute since I had a subway like 4 yrs ago. ??‍♀️, so this was news to me. The regular chocolate chip cookie was good. The double chocolate has a brownie taste, too much sugar for me. I would definitely visit again, probably try tuna or meatballs. “One of the last gems for a Quiznos. Clean restaurant for sure. They may have only one or two servers there but they take the time for each and every order, I witnessed it while waiting and then dining in. Everything always tastes so fresh. I’ve tried a bunch of sandwiches so but the chicken honey mustard and their limited time options are always fantastical. Bread is always fresh the jalapeño cheddar is great! They have deals of the day too and customizable toppings of course. They have front row parking too specifically for their restaurant. Common sandwich pricing. Apple Pay I know they take not sure of other methods. They can get busy, be patient they’re worth it. Glad this place still exists!!“
