“I ordered the Santa Maria BBQ sandwich, and it was delicious. The bread was incredibly fresh. I even got to see them making it right there. Anissa (I hope I am spelling that right) took my order and truly impressed me with her efficiency. She handled everything from running the register to prepping food and organizing to go orders. Despite the busy crowd, she was friendly, thorough, and quick. The restaurant was clean and well organized and the employes worked seamlessly as a team. Great Food, great service.“

“I was on a time crunch last week while on a lunch break and I noticed this spot was nearby, and open. I ordered the So Cal bowl; it came with very juicy chicken with chipotle aioli sauce. It was extremely good and I’m definitely telling my coworkers about it. Also got a chocolate chip cookie for my little sweet tooth, and that was also fantastic, so chewy and not too sweet.

“Defrankos was our first stop on our 12 day vacation from Canada. We got off the flyaway and walked down a few blocks with all of our luggage in tow. The staff were incredibly friendly, they gave us such a warm welcome to California… but beyond that the food was AMAZING. We are currently sitting at the airport going over our trip and all 3 of us agreed the very best food we had on this trip were our 3 subs from Defrankos. ❤️

“Paulie’s is really good food. I drive by here for work all the time and have never been disappointed. Note: definitely not a budget eatery, but quality is good. One thing I love is that they seem to pay attention to the little details. They have great cold cuts, huge cookies, and even their own drinks.

“I have been looking for quinoa all over LA. This place serves it and it is very good. The mix has just the right amount of dried sweet cranberries and a few chickpeas. It was perfect. I had a salad with tuna avocado and egg salad. I was able to sub the egg salad for tuna which was very nice of them. They gave me a fork full of a mayonnaise free tuna they had prepared on the way out which again was a great experience. This is the kind of place that you feel cares and you'd want to keep going back to. A+++“

“The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.“

“Good colt cut sub. The inside was very spacious, only problem I had was it was a little warm inside didn’t necessarily make me want to sit down and enjoy my sandwich there but the sandwich was good. Good value I paid 15 bucks for a mineral water bag of chips and a large sub. I thought it was a great deal and the food was decent.“

Parking: There’s street parking all around the intersection, just depends how much you need to walk. Service is usually quick enough that I can put in a quarter for 15 minutes at the meter and I leave well before it runs out.“

“Overall great bang for buck. The bahn mi are huge and delicious. Bread is fresh and not too crunchy.

Downsides are the service is very unorganized. The ladies behind the counters are yelling and handing out special call in orders. Also, they have a secret menu thats not displayed anywhere. My order was forgotten and the order was wrong when I eventually got it. Also, the atmosphere isn't very welcoming. Its loud, hot, Dirty tables and floors. Its just a good fast food take out type place.

I'll still be back to try other things but definitely won't be eating it there.“

Items that are vegan on the menu will have a V or will tell you how to make a dish vegan under the description. Friendly staff, they deliver the food to your table. As of right now they brought back the MEAL OF THE DAY which includes 2 cookies or chips with a small drink and if you want a footlong it’s just an additional 3$ which to me sounds like a perfect price and meal. “Students come here after school as it is a good pickup spot. They love the slushies! The brownies are good! They also sell sandwiches and soda.

Parking: There is a big parking lot outside. If you come on weekdays after school it may be difficult to find a spot nearby, otherwise it is easy to park.“

“Have lived in the area most of my life and somehow it took me this long to finally stop in. Maybe because I sleep most days and work all night, I'm never up early enough? Honestly with the state of the world, most natural disasters won't get me out of bed, but I will now actually set my alarm just to stop in for a loaded gyro and some hummus and pita. Super easy casual spot, I want to start going through their list of sandos after how perfectly balanced and filling their gyro was, but honestly it's going to be hard not to keep ordering this every time. Super fresh, garlicky hummus, great portions for the price on everything, and a quick easy lunch that doesn't break your wallet.

What else can you ask for? Don't sleep on this place as long as I did, and support every local business you can right now. I got a super fresh, filling, quick meal for less than I'd spend at McDonalds, and I'll probably be back here once a week“

“I stopped by this Subway this morning to get my wife her chicken noodle soup. We were already in the plaza for my wife appointment at the clinic. So when she went to her appointment, I came to this Subway to get her soup. I came in the morning so they were not busy at all. When I walked inside, I didn't see any worker so I looked at their menu. Once I started looking, a lady came from the back and greeted me. I asked her if they have any soup and she told me that they had chicken noodle soup or broccoli soup. My wife likes both but she prefer chicken noodle so I just asked for 2 orders of it. The lady asked me if I wanted cracker as well and I confirm that it came with the soup which she said it does so there no extra cost. My wife ate her soup at home and liked it.

Vegetarian options: You can customize your sandwich or salad here so I highly recommend this place for vegetarian.

“I’ve been eating subs from My Hero since 1972! THE best subs I’ve eaten, ever. Moved through the years, and always went to My Hero’s when within 5 hours by car to where I was staying! The high quality of their food has never waivered! The buns are soft, yet chewy! The tomato salad in each sandwich is always fresh! Plus they give a generous portion of the protein! My favorite has always been pastrami! Lean and tasty, everytime! The staff is welcoming and genuinely happy you are there! I’ll be going in a week as I pass through the area! “I love coming to this Mendocino Farms location! I love their gluten free salads. I'm gluten intolerant so this is very important. They have the most delicious, creative, yummy and filling salads around the valley. I come once a week at least and never disappointed!
