Very friendly crew. In door dining clean and comfortable. Noisy fridge otherwise good. Parking very available and easy access from main roads (cabrillo hwy and san mateo rd). “A really wonderful, romantic oasis in downtown Burlingame. All the food we ordered here was delicious. The Italian sausage lasagna was my highlight. The pomegranate and arugula salad was also wonderful. The Bolognese lasagna was solid but not as standout. The complimentary focaccia bread at the beginning was just so-so.

Fortunately I had thought to make a reservation or we never would have gotten in. The service was warm, the atmosphere was cozy and not too dressy, and the food and wine were great. “We had never ordered from here but took a chance tonight. My husband had the Penne with Alfredo sauce, and I had the baked Penne with Marinara sauce. They were both amazingly delicious! The portions could have been a bit larger, but we weren't left hungry! We will order from here again! I can't rate the atmosphere since we ordered out.“

“I came in for a quick lunch while I was waiting and nearby. It really exceeded my expectations. I got a slice of sausage and pepperoni with a drink, which was cheap and exactly what I wanted. I'm not sure I would say it is the best quick slice I've had in the bay area, but it is the best from a chain. Service was super fast and friendly, my food was ready pretty much once I filled my drink. It was one of the coke touchscreen selector machines, so I got something I never find. There were a great selection of different pizza toppings to use, pretty much anything I would want, and some I wouldn't think of.
My only real issue was the atmosphere. I liked the decor, but it felt like it was designed for the kind of dining I was there for. It just felt a little seedy, I didn't want to linger after eating. I've been to worse, especially for this general category of place, but it felt like they were shooting a bit above that.
All and all, I'll be back. It will be on my radar for the future.“
