I got a spicy Italian footlong, and made sure to order extra pickles. Greatest eating experience I’ve ever had in my culinary life. 10/10 I’ve recommended it to my whole fam.“

“I continually have a great experience at Mendocino Farms! Their food is terrific and always fresh. Portion sizes seem reasonable for the price.

The best part without a doubt is their team. Everyone is friendly and greets you with a smile. A special shout out to Ivan L and Edgar who are terrific managers and go above and beyond.“

“The sourdough alone is worth coming here. The bread is crispy soft and fresh. If you are a fan of sour dough this is for you, and if you don't know if you are and want to try really good if not the best sourdough ( I hate using the word the best because I'll come across another gem that will blow my mind).

Mac and cheese is made with real cheddar, there's a distinct sharpness that you only get from cheddar.

The sandwich was good, but next time I will have something the complements and celebrates the sourdough, maybe something thing like turkey, avacdo and cheese.

“A cute little neighborhood flatbread spot that has quickly become one of our go-to casual bites in San Mateo. As the name suggests, everything here is made with sourdough, which gives their flatbreads a really distinctive flavor and texture.

The menu is simple with just a few signature options, but they do them extremely well. The crust is super thin and crispy — which honestly makes all the difference — and the toppings are always fresh and juicy. My personal favorite is the mushroom flatbread, which I highly recommend if you’re visiting for the first time.

“This is the best Jersey Mike’s in the entire state of California!! As soon as we walk in everyone is just beaming, smiling from ear to ear, everyone behind the counter was just lovely to talk to. Additionally, there were so accommodating to my wife who has celiac. They were so cheerful, and happy to accommodate her dietary needs. And it didn’t make the situation feel like a burden or a hassle at all. The food was delicious, served and ready to go out the door really fast. She takes time with your order, listens carefully, and makes sure everything is prepared exactly how you want it. She even remembers returning customers which is more than you can say about most fast-food chains these days. People love to complain about hours, but honestly? I’d rather staff stay on schedule than deal with someone demanding service five minutes before shutdown. Boundaries matter and this team clearly values a clean, well-organized closing routine.
