“I experienced two miracles at this location todayI can't say much about the first, but the second time I went in I got way more than I was asking for. There is magic here. Youll have to come by to see for yourselfGod bless you. Thank you“
“I was very excited to find Gherkins Sandwich shop while on a week long trip to HMB. As a vegetarian we usually get stuck with the same repetitive sandwich options when going to delis, but I was ecstatic to see that most of their sandwich options could be made vegetarian by substituting the default protein with tofu.I got a number 19 - Cal Fire with tofu which had honey mustard sauce, avocado and cheese (I switched the pepper jack for swiss). My husband got a #20 - The Sheriff with tofu, which had a Frank's Red Hot sauce. I loved the whole gherkins on the sandwiches! The biggest drawback for us is that the sandwiches were very messy to eat. The tofu ended up being cubed, so the sandwiches started falling apart instantly. I think it would probably be better if the tofu was cut into slabs if possible. I also think some extra seasoning on the tofu would be great. The sauces on our sandwiches were also a little runny, which kind of added to the messy-ness.We had gotten chips but didn't end up eating them because we were so full after the sandwiches. Overall a good option for lunch, but I would have preferred if the sandwiches were a little easier to eat.“
“We stopped here for a quick bite after arriving in SFO and had to hit the road to go to Napa. Delicious sandwiches and although this place had a beachy vibe. It was really quiet and staff didn't seem terribly friendly or welcoming but our party of four just wanted to get some food and leave anyway.“
“These guys are great! My car got hit right outside on the street and the driver took off. The guys inside sprung into action and quickly got pics of the license plate and saved them for me.On the food side, I suggest the turkey with sesame seed. The sourdough is too tough for me personally but still amazing. Secret garlic sauce is delicious.“
“Ordered the Raider sandwich, everything about it was delicious. The chicken was juicy, the produce was super fresh and the tomatoes were a rich red and super flavorful. The garlic sauce was soooo good. Service was great as well, and everyone was really friendly and kind. I was having a rough afternoon and having my lunch here turned my day around completely.“
“The sandwiches are huge! Be ready to share with 1-2 people. I split mine into lunch and dinner. We ordered the double meat with corned beef and pastrami and the prime rib sandwiches. The garlic spread really enhanced the flavor and my sandwich had a little kick to it. I went right when it opened and there were no line. It's just a takeout place so don't expect to eat there. Lots of parking though.“
“Super cute cafe, comfortable seats, tasty coffee & treats, very friendly staff! They can also make any of their drink menu with decaf coffee- perfect for those who aren’t able to indulge with full strength coffee but want to have a taste! I’m so excited to have a fun cafe in the neighborhood!“
“The sandwiches are really not bad. It is just that when you order on the phone, sometimes they give you attitude.Instead of thanking you for business, they have this, "not sure if you will give me a 10% or 20% or 25% tip later on, so why do I have to show a smile to you?"“
“Had them cater a small lunch for a training we had going in the office. They were awesome super accommodating (I was picky) delivered on time (worth the $10 fee) and everyone loved their sandwiches. We will definitely use you guys again. Thank you Dan and Karen for all your help with this order.“
“Came to pick up an internet order of one of their amazing vegetarian sandwiches. It was really delicious! They did such a great job making the sandwich and the team members are really nice to interact with.Vegetarian options: There's an entire list of vegetarian and vegan sandwich options! Really inclusive of Ike's place! Great stuff. I've never ordered the same sandwich twice yet, they are all delicious!“
“Fresh avocado, good scrambled eggs, nice sourdough toast. Even added a parchment paper between to prevent the lower slice from getting soggy. Portions felt a little small (sandwich loaf) and the avocado was covered in tajin. Couldn't find the option to remove tajin on the menu-iPad, but the picture made it look like only a little tajin was going to be added. Took a little while to navigate their software, asked for my phone number but staff called my name when it was ready, no text. Once ordered food was fast! Solid place, would go back and try to customize my order more.“
“I just got a turkey burger from upper crust and damn it was good! The grilled onions were delicious and I love that the bun did not fall apart which happens a lot with other turkey burgers. The condiments are fresh and it was grilled to perfection. I chatted with the owner who's a super cool guy this will definitely be my spot when I want lunch when I'm in Pacifica!“
“Came by with a friend and we shared the French dip sandwich and a chicken problano soup. The sandwich was scrumptious! The soup has just the right amount of kick to it (I cannot tolerate too much heat) and so flavorful. The bread stays crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. Easy parking and real chill atmosphere. Clean bathroom too!“
“Cool and hip sandwich joint in the heart of downtown Burlingame. Stopped in unexpectedly for a sandwich today. The menu was fairly extensive. You can choose from pre-defined sandwiches or build your own. Ingredients seemed really fresh, including the Dutch Crunch bread which was nice and soft. The staff was super friendly and I appreciate that they greeted me the moment I walked in the door! Also loved that the prices were fair. Under $10 for a sandwich that was large enough to share with my wife. Would definitely return the next time I’m in the area.“
“I last visited Seville Tapas long before the pandemic and was happy to revisit this local Spanish gem of a restaurant last weekend after a long absence where the chef-owner trained at the California Culinary Academy. My friend swooned over the delicious gazpacho and Piquillo peppers filled with herbed goat cheese, while I enjoyed the traditional Tortilla Española/potato omelet. We also enjoyed a glass of Spanish white wine while sitting on the deck and enjoying the gorgeous views on a perfect day. BTW: we both live in SF and can't wait to return. Note: The reverse side of the menu also offers a selection of American items.“
