“Over the past year Lokal has been my absolutely favorite place in LA. If you’re a Venice/ Santa Monica or even marina del ray or Culver City local you have to start regularly coming here.

Not once have I had a bad dish or a bad guest experience. The staff is always incredibly friendly and accommodating, the food and bevvies are super consistent and have not had one miss on this menu.

Whether it’s an on the go AM coffee, a small lunch burger to refuel me or a cozy dinner sandwich to wrap up my day. This place has been the spot.

The prices are extremely reasonably ( if not the most reasonable in West LA) and again, can’t emphasize the overall consistency enough. Love ya lokal!!“

Ruben with pastrami was delicious- I personally prefer the filling to the edge of the bread.

Italian Sub- very classic flavors and oh so messy.

NG Sub- overall classic sandwiches vibes, could use some seasoning- no need for cucumbers without a bit of salt.

Monster Special was probably my favorite and the most flavorful.

Potato salad- I don’t think the person who came up with this recipe loves potato salad. It could use some love.

“The burgers are good, chinese chicken salad, chicken caesar sandwich, breakfast burritos and southwest bbq chicken sandwich are all great depending on your taste. but my favorite is the chicken salad sandwich with bacon and red onions. Its my favorite by far and love all the flavors in it especially the swiss cheese they use. Its also a bug plus they deliver locally and dont take too long. would definitely recommend this place especially for delivery.“

“If there’s one place known for Vietnamese coffee, it’s this one. That sweet, creamy, ice-cold brew will keep you wired longer than any energy drink. It’s strong, but in the best way. Don’t even bother asking for less ice because the drink is meant to be diluted. Without it, the coffee is way too concentrated (even their bottled version at Costco says to mix it with ice or water!).

As for the food, their banh mi are always solid. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Prices have crept up over the years, but that’s pretty much everywhere now. Still worth the visit.“

“Growing up in San Diego, where Board & Brew is from I must’ve had it countless times growing up. In fact, my high school was just down the street from the Del Mar location, which was the very first location, and I would have that at least once a week during senior year of high school. We stopped in today at this Torrance location, and I can say that the flavors are just as good as all the others, and it really brings back a lot of memories every single time I eat one of these sandwiches. There is also a ton of free parking right in front and they do have a small bar inside where you can sit and drink and eat as well. They also have indoor tables as well. “I walked into the subway and saw a customer saying that the sandwich she received did not meet her standards. This customer gave me the ick and started to threaten me and my adopted children, furthermore, she threatened to adopt me. Being cornered by the lady, I felt as if it were the end. But suddenly, the employees came in and saved my life. In return, I gave them my children for saving my life, you know, an eye for eye. Feeling gratitude for my trade, the employees bowed down to me and began the subway ritual. Tomatoes all around me, olives all over my hair, and salami on my shoulder, I felt a sense of bewilderment. One of the employees started speaking this ancient language, I believe it was something like come estas ahora. No, I knew what they were saying, but nonetheless, I ventured through the ritual. As the ritual concluded, I felt a sense of holiness and change, I was no longer the same man I once was, I was Jared Fogle. I quickly examined myself in the mirror and began to weep as the revelation came through. I now had to live life as Hared Fogle, from now on I was that one weirdo no one would ever love. I'm 82 now, and still am Jared Fogle, and will probably remain this way for the rest of my life. As I enter the premises of any establishment, people stare upon the man who had once caused a great immense of terror, they don't see me, they see a monster. So ya that's my overall review of Subway, would suggest going on Thursday from the hours of 3pm and 8pm“

It was made with just the basic ingredients chicken, celery, and mayonnaise which I find delightful. Every other place I've had a chicken salad sandwich they've always made it with odd ingredients. Walnuts, apples which for some people I'm sure it work for them. Not for me. So to find such a great simple basic recipe that Jersey Mike's put together I was very happy. There was plenty of meat and the bread was exceptionally fresh. I pray they keep it on the menu.“

“Brian was very helpful. The minute I walked in I said hello to the woman Samaythat was there, she did not speak back. At the time Brian was not around. She proceeded to do whatever it was she was doing with the clipboard. She almost made me walk out and not even order. Brian to the rescue walk straight to wash his hand and came to help me. While I dine in. I observed the woman being nice to the other customer which made me feel more uncomfortable because why did she not greet me like she did the Latino man. She practically ignored me and I spoke first. I believe customer service is not how you feel but when you come to work and represent a company you should fake it until you make it. I wanted to leave a TIP but it would of been split between the two of them and only one person deserved the tip and that's Brian.
