Great indoor and outdoor atmoshpere, the chicken schnitzel was delish, TBH the beet salad could have had some more beets, but was still yummy. Didn't take any pics, we were too busy talking lol, but def a great place in Highland Park.”

My wife wanted exactly that, and she was very happy. We took a friend for a late breakfast, and he even went for the T-Bone, which was not medium as ordered, but then again, Denny's is not a steakhouse, but a diner with $20 T-Bones. Sadly, my Arnold Palmer was the worst I ever had. My hash browns and my egg were OK. Would I go again: likely. Would I make a 30+ min detour just to dine here? Absolutely not.”

“Skimpy on the meat portions in The burrito and then want you to pay more for the same amount . It's kind of gouging when half the burrito is meat and other is just beans and cheese sauce . I was disappointed.”

“Great pizza, they are always busy, which is a good thing because shows you the demand. Online ordering needs some work but like I said, pizza is really good. Have ate here from the ages of 15, and would recommend to try. Here is the specialty pizza menu when you order online. Combination is amazing.”

“The staff there is very nice. The restaurant is very clean inside and outside. The food is always at the right temperature. There's hardly ever any line in the drive-thru. Unfortunately it looks like they need more staff, there are very few employees working there. I believe the issue is a corporate issue and not local management issue. “Always have deals on there new items and love the Munchies box, such a great Deal. Only negative is wait to get your food, at drive through or in person , always spend waiting about 10-15 mins. Staff is nice, but need more help.”

“Was super happy with our dinner at Hippo. Every dish was delicious. The brussel sprouts and cauliflower starters had excellent flavors. All the pastas we tried had incredible depth of flavor without being overly heavy or greasy. The hippo rolls and table focaccia were excellent and the chicken thighs were to die for. Only thing that was lackluster was the passion fruit gelato. Fun vibe, lots of seating, and great service!”

“Simply phenomenal. It takes incredible food, made by kind folks, who love what they do, to lift a stranger's spirit like my own. I had ordered four tacos: Masala Birria, Tinga Masala Chicken (by recommendation), Pibil Chicken, and the potato (Mexican potato substitution), along with a side of Mom's Beans and seasoned Cauliflower. I was nodding my head blissfully as I ate everything. The smell of spices and fresh cilantro, the taste of meaty beans and succulent poultry, and pickled onions were wildly satisfying. “A tiny Portuguese restaurant in cypress park owned by a really nice guy, Mike Santos. Now it is small, but it is great. It is always super clean and they have great Portuguese food. We just love it. Whenever we are near there we stop for dinner.

You can make reservations or just walk in. It is not usually too long a wait. There is a lot of comfortable outdoor seating which is great. They play great music and now and again they have live music.

Their bread is the best. I could just have that and be happy, but I always get their pork because it is just perfect.

Start with their WEISER FARMS SUGAR CUBE MELON. It is so tasty.

Their ARROZ DE PATO CONFIT DUCK LEG, with BOMBA RICE, SOFRITO, CHORIZO, and DUCK CRACKLINGS are so good and they give you a large portion. You can share or take extra home. Their SUMMER EGGPLANT, with SCALLOP VINAIGRETTE, AGED CHEESE and PEPITAS, SUNGOLD TOMATO is so good.

There is nothing you will not like. They have nice selection of beer and port as well. Have fun.”

“First of all, best thing that’s happened to Silverlake. Incredible food and just such a positive vibe. We love harmony, ask for her if you come. She walked us through the menu and guided us to order the best things ever.”

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.”

We also enjoyed tacos de suadero, tender brisket cooked to perfection; Taco Sonia, a specialty with beef rib, chorizo, potatoes, and cactus; and flor de calabaza quesadilla, a savory quesadilla filled with tender squash blossoms and cheese. Additionally, there was a daily special: taco de huitlacoche, made with truffle-like corn fungus that has a smoky, earthy flavor. All dishes were served with warm, homemade tortillas made from fresh maize dough, enhancing the authentic taste.”
