“Great coffee and staff that supports the community!
I live down the street and was thrilled to discover Coffee With a Cause was partnering with the nearby school to open this Coffee Shop Popup to train and staff students. We don’t really have anything like it within walking distance so it’s wonderful to have something like this nearby, that helps serve the community. The coffee is delicious and the prices are great! Highly recommend.“

“This was literally my first time trying matcha, and I actually really liked it. I was told it’s usually not sweet, so I asked for extra sweetener on top of the sweet version. The flavor was a bit strong, but the added sweetness made it much more enjoyable. Would def try it again!
We went around noon on a weekday and it was packed. Parking is definitely a hassle here.“

“This Latina woman–owned coffee shop is such a hidden gem. From the outside it might look a little rough, but step inside and you’ll be greeted with the warmest service and the most delicious food. I had the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a long time, and the mazapán latte was out of this world. PERFECTLY made. The team here truly makes you feel welcome, and you can tell they pour so much love into what they do. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend supporting this spot! 🌸☕🥪 Gracias chicas!!“

“A cozy café with a Korean vibe. I had been following posts about its opening on a thread, so I felt a sense of familiarity with it. The dessert and drink menu were simple and not over-the-top, which I really liked. I was surprised to see more foreigners than Koreans, even though cafés like this usually attract a lot of Koreans. The atmosphere was lovely as well.“

“FYI they are not serving avocado toast anymore but I got ham and cheese croissant, warmed. The parking was full but I found a spot on 5th and Virgil ave. My flat white coffee was great and the fastest I ever got from a craft coffee place, it was done in 2 min even though the place was busyyy! Everyone is so hardworking and sweet, I'll come back if in the area :)“

“Of the 3 cafes I went to, this one was still open in the heavy rain.
Very cozy, warm, dry, and inviting. Umbrellas have a place and service is kind. Glad I made the short trip to get the Dalgona Latte extra sweet. Perfect for this kind of weather. 10 outta 10.“

“Everything about this place. The owner is THE SWEETEST and was dancing when we walked in and offered us some lolipops. The interior is so fun and vibrant and inviting and the boba was out of this world we actually ended up ordering more on Uber eats later. 10000/10 recommend and their signature boba.“

“This is a tiny counter with serious espresso. The cappuccino art is consistently pretty, but I stay for the cheddar scallion biscuit—flaky with a soft interior. There’s a shaded sidewalk bench that’s prime for people-watching on Glendale Blvd. They remember regulars’ orders, which feels old-school. Great pit stop before hiking up to the reservoir loop“

“I ordered an open face MCB on gluten free everything bagel with vegan cream cheese which was delicious. My husband ordered a white fish salad bagel on an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese which he enjoyed. We also ordered a generous side of pickles. The coffee was solid too. The interior is well designed and the booths offer cozy, private seating.“
“This one scape has the perfect coffee balance and such a cool vibe. The staff are super friendly and really know their stuff when it comes to coffee. The bathroom is spotless, and the interior is stylish and modern. Definitely the kind of neighborhood spot I’d want to come back to again and again.“

“It was awesome that I could say frankly speaking, Frank's coffee was awesome! The simple small spot between West Lake and Central LA made it to my long list of good coffee in town. Love how it felt homey with few seats, friendly barista, and pretty chill ambiance.
Top recommendation would be their Frank Standard, which was sweetened latte with molasses, brown sugar and cinnamon. It might sound sweet, but worry not as everything just came at the right balance. Besides, it gave extra caffeine kick featuring double shots of espresso.
One thing (prolly most important) not to miss was their 4oz chocolate chip cookie, which was UBER GOOD!! Freshly baked in store, it was so gooey that you would likely find yourself make some mess enjoying it served warm. Deliciously buttery and packed with abundant mix of dark and milk chocolate chips! Where have I been that I just found this place out?!“

“One of the best coffee spots in Pasadena! Love coming here to get my caffeine fix in. I've tried most of the menu and you honestly can't go wrong picking any drink. They offer hot and iced coffee as well as matcha and a few pastries. The owners are extremely kind people who clearly love what they do and it shows. They also give back to the community which speaks volumes. I cannot recommend this cute little coffee truck enough.“

“Yo, just hit up Dinosaur Coffee on Sunset and had a solid experience. Ordered a flat white, and damn, that Woodcat Coffee bean they use hits different—smooth, rich, not too bitter. The barista was chill, hooked me up quick, and the vibe in there was on point. Place is packed with freelancers tapping away on laptops, but it’s not annoyingly loud. Got a seat by the window, soaked in that Silverlake energy. The caramel brownie was a nice touch, super gooey. Only gripe? Parking’s a nightmare, but that’s Sunset for ya. Def coming back for the coffee and that laid-back, artsy feel. 10/10 for a morning pick-me-up.“
“Amazing coffee and wonderful service at this hidden gem of a coffee bar. The barista was very attentive, and the outdoor seating makes it a peaceful spot to relax with a friend or get some work done on a laptop. I haven’t tried the food yet, but I’ll definitely be back for the great vibes!“

“Their french toast was very buttery and delicious. The matcha misto was good- the matcha base itself is unsweetened but the cream top was sweet. I didn't get much depth in flavor from either and felt that the sweetness of the cream top was closer to the splenda/regular sugar side, and didn't get much cream scent.“

“I wouldn’t say this is a disappointment like others. I also went when the line wasn’t long and we got one strawberry matcha and one einspanner and the einspanner was better in my opinion. If you’ve had about time it was similar, but smaller as well. I approve and it’s not bad. Nothing to gag about but it’s pretty good and it’s a lighter einspanner compared to other ppl“

“We loved our visit to Camel this morning. I’ve been out of the city for a while and I’m happy to see such a unique shop pop up. It reminded me of Star Wars inside ? obviously desert themed. Super sick. Love the seating upstairs. But most importantly the staff were very pleasant and the coffee was so good. I love when everything works in unison at a shop like that. Perfect americano. The pastries are great also.“

“HOLEY CRAP these are incredible donuts. Who knew the Hawaiian superfood taro could be so delicious? I will most definitely be coming back here for more, even their basic donut offering, the “hot single” is to die for. All donuts are fresh made to order, highly recommend eating them hot. The flavors are orgasmic.“

“I'd have to tell you last Friday I went to Lola's because my wife kept raving about how wonderful of a place it was. So I had to try it out for myself. A young lady named Abigail (who looks like Billie Ellish) and who just had this welcoming spirit and made you feel comfortable along with the rest of the staff. Once you were sat and you were able to go through the menu, I had looked up some items online and their food looked exactly as it was presented in their pictures. Even better, the food, it was absolutely, completely, delicious!!! The atmosphere made you not want to leave, and it was comfortable, it was inviting. They checked on you periodically to see if you needed anything at he same time, allowing you to enjoy the ambience of the place. I had the enchiladas and Arnold Palmer balanced perfectly. It's a good first date place. My date I've been with her 30 years Married and enjoyed every moment there, oh also our daughter was present.“

“Great lil coffee shop! I usually get my coffee beans here since they are top notch. There aren't dates on the bags, but the barista told me they get new batch in every Tuesday, so everything is fresh (although, would still prefer to have roast dates on the bags for confirmation). They also give you free coffee when you buy beans, and have free dog treats! Not really sit and chat type of cafe since it's tiny and the seats do not look super comfy. I do see regulars sitting outside, and dog friendly!“

“This is such a cute cafe! I’ve been twice and will definitely be stopping by when I’m in the area again! I had the Lechera and the Horchata latte, both soooo delicious!! I love the range of flavors they offer. The overnight oats were also really tasty. Definitely recommend, well priced too!“

“Just like its name, the venue did give that picnic vibe with array of seats outside, went along with the vibrant and bright colors venue. Very limited seats inside, but good thing was most people came and go briefly.
Plenty of unique-flavored pastries were there, and I tried their Passion Fruit Kouign Amann that the barista recommended as his most favorite from the showcase. I made the right decision following the suggestion as it's simple yet delicate. Crispy buttery texture, complemented by sweet and refreshing passion fruit cream. I did wish there's more of the cream, as it's just at the center top.
As I was craving for hot coffee, I opted for their Spanish Latte. I initially requested them to make it without cayenne as it's called out as one of the ingredients, but they told me it's just very little that you might not even taste it. It was surely true, I loved how my Spanish Latte wasn't overly sweet, perfected by the hint of cinnamon, and I could have it with almond milk for free substitution!“

“Love ❤️ the seating choice - bright 🌞 patio street side or cool, dark interior - very cool 😎 place. We drove 4 hours to get there (in search of Ireland/UK quality scones) - which were, in my opinion, just OK 👍 with a vast variety of choices. Overall, a delightful experience 😊“

“This small café on York Boulevard blew me away with its inventive drinks—especially the citrusy Kumquat Sour and a smooth Hojicha Latte. The minimalist interior feels like a Zen hideaway, and the patio is perfect on sunny mornings. They rotate beans often, so every visit has something new to try. I also grabbed a bag of their house-roasted beans to brew at home. Definitely a local gem for serious coffee lovers“

“Truly one of my favorite tea cafes in LA, they DO NOT have WiFi so please don’t come if you’re trying to get work done. Do come if you want to learn about tea AND NOT JUST GREEN MATCHA, they have so much more to offer. The staff is well knowledgeable and kind, they know their selection very well too. I come here to read and be present. It’s a sweet spot. I usually come and sit for a moment but you can also take to go as well. Try the vegan ice cream, try the toasty Sobacha, and Hojicha.“

“The drink quality is frequently praised: visitors highlight specialty items like the Cloud Latte and Cloud Mocha for their layered flavours and signature “cloud cream” topping.
The ambiance is pleasant and somewhat tucked-away: though located in busy downtown, Tilt sits in a courtyard/green-space type setting between buildings, making it feel more relaxed and outside of the usual hustle.
Friendly & knowledgeable staff: Several reviews mention the service is upbeat and the staff seem engaged in the craft of coffee.“
