“Drunken chicken by lemon fish is a great sushi restaurant located in Hollywood. What makes them special is that they also have additional Pocha items like these McDonald’s like fries so you know they’re great for weekend dinners. My favorite roll is their citrus salmon. It comes with shrimp tempura, salmon on top and a sliced lemon for freshness. Come out for great food and super fun vibes and If you’re not into sushi then you have to try their fried chicken. Their soy garlic is so full of flavor and the chicken is juicy, meaty, and crispy.“

“I was in LA a couple of weeks ago on business and found this spot the day before leaving and that's my biggest regret. “My family and I were in town and looking for a soul food place to try when we stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. We originally went into the location to order from a different cook (not realizing that it was a shared kitchen with several different restaurants inside) and that's when we were greeted by a woman offering samples of her food from this place and we loved the taste, so we bought our food from her. The food was really good and well seasoned. We were happy with our food choice! Give them a try!“

The host allowed us to change our hi top reservation due to two of my guests being seasoned and fierce, of course. I greatly appreciated that! “Let me start with its a very long line & wait.

The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. Customer service is fantastic. But geez the long line up…we arrived at 1:25 they open at 1:30pm & there was a long line, I mean long but they did provide ice cold water which was refreshing & needed when standing in the sun for any length of time.
By the time we got into the restaurant, order, pay & actually get our food it was 3:50pm. They have seating available once you get inside and wait another 30-45 min for your order so you can relax.
Yes people thats how long the wait is. 2.5hrs to wait for food don't get me wrong like I said the food was great but just cant see myself waiting in line again for that length of time hence the 3 stars for atmosphere. I was told the line up is the norm.“

“Absolutely the finest Soul Food. You don't want to skip this place. I had the lunch portion of the Oxtail and chose the Candied Yams and Mac and Cheese as sides. It came with 2 Cornbread Muffins. It was all delicious and filling. I ordered the Coconut Pineapple Cake for Dessert. It filled the container. See the picture. Totally Recommend this place.“

Such a friendly young duo with the gift for amazing food, because this was the best soul food I’ve had ever since visiting LA. Not only was the food made fresh to order - I literally watched him batter and fry them - the owner was the sweetest human who genuinely cared about his services. I went after the Fires to order Dinners for 3 Suffering families due to the loss of their Altadena Homes, and I order by phone.. I was quoted a certain price by phone... I was quite clear on what she said... However upon arriving at the Eatery to pick up my order... I was given a different price by the Owners Daughter... She has an extremely Smug and Nasty Attitude!!! And it's nothing new! Then she screwed up the 2nd order as well... Again... Her Attitude is extremely Smug and Nasty, I could care less if her father is the owner, I will not be spoken to or at as if I am a liar after having been A faithful Patron there! Her Huffing and Puffing as if she were some type of Dragon trying to put out a fire didn't bode well with me. When I went in I was being polite but after trying to explain the error in pricing and ordering she acted as if I were trying to get something for nothing, when I only wanted what was the original price quoted to me by phone and my order done properly. Then after almost 30 minutes she accused me of not paying for Yams! I thought she had rung them up so I brought them out to the car, she then asked... Did you pay for those? I said yes... Didn't you ring them up!? She no I didn't... But you can have them! I said... Certainly not! I took them right back inside and left them on the counter! If her attitude hadn't been so nasty I would have let it go... But she has very poor social skills! And you can't have Poor social skills when your in the Restaurant business should you choose to keep Loyal customers! Vidal, who is the owner I believe is a decent man , however when I called and left my phone number to speak with him 3 times... My call has yet to be returned, at the least... And I do mean least they could do is apologize!!! In any case.. I will take My $$$$ and all of my Church members and family, and Friends elsewhere to dine and tell them never to Darken the door of this Eaterie again until attitude adjustments are made ..if then! Folks... Go to where you are respected period! Stop settling for any old place no matter how good the food may or not be. I would rather have bad food and great customer service, than Good food and Horrible customer service! It's your choice!“
