50 Best Vegan Restaurants in Huntington Beach

“I was conflicted about whether to give Rol 4 or 5 stars. I’m a sushi and hand roll aficionado. I’d eat it daily and I’ve been to most of the places in SoCal. The fish quality here is very good. I got the lunch special and at $16 for 4 rolls that’s a very good price. But the rolls are very small. Usually I can have enough at 5 rolls to be full. Here I had 6 and I could have still eaten more.

Other than that, I have no complaints. It’s a clean restaurant located right off beach blvd in main part of city. The servers were attentive and nice. I’m just a big eater and I would have to order 7-8 rolls to feel satisfied.“

Parking: This is Huntington Beach .. parking can be difficult. We got lucky with a spot right in front of the restaurant. It was metered parking with the first 2 hours being free. I noticed there was also other street metered parking across the way.

Ambiance/Environment: Very warm and welcoming. It’s very spacious with plenty of indoor seating and limited outdoor seating. Great for large groups.

Service: Shout out to our server Abril! She was amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the menu, refilled our waters when needed, and checked on us while eating.

Food & Drinks:

1) Burning Titan - This was recommended to us since this was their “must try” entrees. I had the choice of substituting the meat and noodles, but I decided to leave everything as is. This only came in one size, and I’d consider it a large bowl. They were very generous with the brisket beef and amount of ramen. The soup was definitely spicy and flavorful.

2) Kung Pao Chicken - My partner wanted a rice dish. I tried his dish, and this is definitely better than Panda Express! It wasn’t too spicy though, nor was it salty. There wasn’t as many peanuts as we thought. There was a good amount of chicken to rice ratio.

3) Crispy Wonton - I like their twist on the wontons because not only did it have cream cheese, but it also had avocado! The wonton was crispppyyy with a beautiful brown color. Though, I wish it had more filling of cream cheese and avocado. Don’t forget to dip it in the sweet sauce!

4) Thai Tea with boba - This wasn’t too sweet. The boba was decently chewy. The tea had a weird aftertaste, so I think they could work on this item.

5) Vietnamese Ice Coffee - I’m a crackhead for caffeine, so of course I ordered a Viet coffee in the evening. You know it’s concentrated when they don’t fill the cup up all the way. This is what I call a Viet coffee!

Pricing: I’d say it’s definitely worth its price. We visited while they were still offering their deals. Can’t deny a bowl of pho starting at $9.99. Especially in this inflation, that’s a steal.“

“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.“

“Dropped in for my birthday, we’ve been coming to this shack for over 10 years. Come to find out the previous owners sold to a new amazing couple. Which kept the original flavors, menu and recipes. Still high standards with great flavor, and great portions. We stopped by a little after 10-11 am and got chatting with the couple who now owns the business and how they got it. A really amazing story and so so friendly, they gave our children a couple small dishes of sherbet while we chatted with them and waited for our burgers. Wish to have stayed and chatted longer but had to road trip back home. We will still be coming back as often as we can. WE LOVE POCKET BURGER!! ❤️“

“Johnnys is hands down the best pizza. The dough is fermented for 3 days before being used and their ingredients are imported from Italy. You can literally taste the quality with every bite. I’m soo glad I discovered Johnnys because I explicitly remember thinking how complicated it felt to order and waiting an hour felt ridiculous. Now, I can’t even imagine eating another pizza it’s THAT good.“

The atmosphere was chill and the service was pretty friendly. I got the khao soi chicken and it was quite tasty, tender chicken, thick noodles and crispy noodles, what's not to love. I was almost tempted to order some rice to soak up more of that awesome gravy. If I was in the area I would come back again.“

“One particularly hot night my mom and I searched, “Best Gelato near me” and the top result was Mangiamo! After eating the gelato 3 times in a row, we can definitely say that title is well earned! The Double Chocolate flavor is for sure the best chocolate flavored Gelato in the whole state of California; not to mention it’s totally authentic too! “Went here for lunch with a friend who said it was great. Turns out he was telling the absolute truth. I’ve never been much of a sandwich guy myself but the tri-tip special sounded very good. Food arrived quickly and was borderline heavenly. Before the food arrived they offered a sample dish of their lasagna special, it was amazing. We pre ordered 10 lasagnas for dinner the next night (July 3rd). The tri-tip sandwich was so good I felt like I had to order another one, it was even better the second time around. The service was terrific all of the staff was friendly and went above and beyond to create a comfortable atmosphere. The tables have little games you can play while you wait for your food (tic-tac-toe, chess, etc.). I’m forever in debt to my friend for showing me this place.10/10 must try again.“
