“People raved about this sushi restaurant, it was decent but I don't think I'd go back. The service was outstanding, the food was good, but the prices are expensive for what you get. IMHO, there are better sushi restaurants for the same $. You won't have a bad meal, it just left me wanting for more. The only negative about this place is the loud noise inside, it's difficult to have a conversation without yelling, which only adds to the noise.“

“Hands down the best Philly cheesesteak on the west coast, I’ve had cheesesteak on the east coast and the west coast and in my humble opinion Johnny's Philly grill is on par with what you get in Philadelphia and that’s really saying something. We have eaten here many times and will continue to do so. We ordered from here on superbowl Sunday since we are Philadelphia eagles fans.. Go birds! It was extremely busy and they had hundreds of orders called in but they still had ours ready on time and they were phenomenal as usual. It doesn’t matter how busy they are, the food is top notch every single time. Just writing this review made me crave a Philly so I know where I’m eating tonight. I haven’t tried all of the locations but based on the overall experience while eating at the beach blvd location, I’m sure they are all on point. I’m so glad I found this place, even my super picky 15 year old loves it and that’s impressive. I can’t wait to go back after work.

Parking: It’s not the biggest lot but I have never had a problem parking even when they are busy. If I had to park on the street and walk I would still go. The food is that good

“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.“

“I came to this plaza today because I had to take a class over the weekend here and I'm happy I was stumbled upon this pretty sweet Thai spot. The atmosphere was chill and the service was pretty friendly. I got the khao soi chicken and it was quite tasty, tender chicken, thick noodles and crispy noodles, what's not to love. I was almost tempted to order some rice to soak up more of that awesome gravy. If I was in the area I would come back again.“

The pickled onions... my only comment is that oregano should be an accent to enhance flavor... it shouldn't be oregano juice with pickled onions. less is more. When the herb is overpowering an onion? It's a bit much. It's too much. And make it an OPsandwichtortas or burritos especially when prime cuts are being ordered. That oregano would kill the suave of any meat.. .(PS - i Love Oregano)

“Wow, wow, wow! I've been meaning to come to this place, and I finally got the chance to go for my birthday. My bestie and I both ordered the Yamasaki Set. It was truly worth every penny! During our meal, I texted my husband that "we had to come back, so he can have the same experience that I did." It was THAT good. Our set starts off with the seafood salad (came with little white fishies, scallops, and salmon sashimi, 5 pc sashimi (smoked albacore, halibut, tuna, kanpachi, and ankimo), 3 piece nigiri (salmon, hotate, and yellowtail), 1 toro handroll, another 3 piece nigiri (mackerel, blue fin tuna, amberjack), miso soup (one of the better miso soups I've ever had since it was more rich), 1 blue crab handroll, then finish with a otoro and uni nigiri. I'm sure some pieces tend to change, but this is what we received. OMG! This was all that I wanted for my birthday. Everything was truly amazing! I'm already thinking about going back asap! The service is quick, with food ready just minutes after ordering, and the prices are great. “Great ramen and sushi restaurant in a small strip mall. Plenty of parking. The restaurant is not big, but has a large table in the middle for a larger group and some smaller tables for groups of 2 to 6, and some bar seating. We were warmly greeted and could sit anywhere. We ordered two ramen soups, a truffle mushroom variety and a spicy beef version. With both, we chose them as a combo with gyoza and spicy tuna, respectively. The soups came quickly and looked and tasted amazing. They played country music, which was a bit unexpected. But still 5 stars for food and service. Overall, a place we have bookmarked for our next trip.“
