“Hands down the best Philly cheesesteak on the west coast, I’ve had cheesesteak on the east coast and the west coast and in my humble opinion Johnny's Philly grill is on par with what you get in Philadelphia and that’s really saying something. We have eaten here many times and will continue to do so. We ordered from here on superbowl Sunday since we are Philadelphia eagles fans.. Go birds! It was extremely busy and they had hundreds of orders called in but they still had ours ready on time and they were phenomenal as usual. It doesn’t matter how busy they are, the food is top notch every single time. Just writing this review made me crave a Philly so I know where I’m eating tonight. I haven’t tried all of the locations but based on the overall experience while eating at the beach blvd location, I’m sure they are all on point. I’m so glad I found this place, even my super picky 15 year old loves it and that’s impressive. I can’t wait to go back after work.

Parking: It’s not the biggest lot but I have never had a problem parking even when they are busy. If I had to park on the street and walk I would still go. The food is that good

“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.“

“I love Oscars, quality food and ingredients. Oscar is always super friendly and I love seeing his family hanging out. He’s there from early morning until late night and greets everyone with a smile and welcoming attitude. I am from San Diego and this restaurant reminds me of a lot of the Mexican restaurants down south. The food is very authentic and I love their salsa bar! The Cali burrito is delicious. Their breakfast burritos are delicious and affordable.“

“On a perfect rainy day, I was craving nothing but delicious Ramen so I had to have the pork tongue Katsu Ramen but they have a special here that includes a spicy tuna or salmon roll for $19.99

I absolutely had to have this and my God, it was delicious environment was warm and when I got my food, I couldn’t wait.

This place serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Besides the Mexican food there’s an entire menu of burgers, etc. We will be back.“

“Yet another winner from KEI Concepts. The hand rolls are served warm, one at a time, so you get the full flavor of the roll. They advise you eat them as soon as they are served + follow that advice. Consider the yuzu kosho sauce to complement the rolls. The lunch special of four rolls, miso soup and edamame is a great bargain, and they will substitute if you have allergies. The cucumber salad and crispy rice tartar are a nice way to start.“

“I don’t give many places 5 stars but this one deserves it. We got a whole Stay Loose and a slice of the Fiin’n to Fire and both were exceptional. I hate pineapple on pizza but combined with the other toppings it was salty, sweet, crispy and spicy when you add the house made hot sauce. The hazy IPA was one of the better ones I’ve ever had. We’ll be back.“

The ladies greeted us two strangers with big smiles and huge welcomes. They quickly offered us drinks and menus then, gave us the low down on specials and a lil history of the bar. We felt at home immediately. That was just the beginning! The bloody marys were on point, freshly made (no mix crap), and the food! We ate every bit of it! Onion rings are fresh and crispy, Italian Sub also crispy with a great blend of meats, cheese, and peppers, and I believe he had the pastrami. It was almost all over when we said pics! So excuse the sloppy pics, but dont miss the cameo of that delish bloody mary and beer back! A great Go-To place! So happy we found The Marlin, we will be back. Thank you for a great time!“

“What a wonderful restaurant! The food here is incredible! We especially love the California Rolls and Japanese soda. When they prepare tuna it's quite a show and so much fun!
