50 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Huntington Beach

“I was conflicted about whether to give Rol 4 or 5 stars. I’m a sushi and hand roll aficionado. I’d eat it daily and I’ve been to most of the places in SoCal. The fish quality here is very good. I got the lunch special and at $16 for 4 rolls that’s a very good price. But the rolls are very small. Usually I can have enough at 5 rolls to be full. Here I had 6 and I could have still eaten more.

Other than that, I have no complaints. It’s a clean restaurant located right off beach blvd in main part of city. The servers were attentive and nice. I’m just a big eater and I would have to order 7-8 rolls to feel satisfied.“

“Hands down the best Philly cheesesteak on the west coast, I’ve had cheesesteak on the east coast and the west coast and in my humble opinion Johnny's Philly grill is on par with what you get in Philadelphia and that’s really saying something. We have eaten here many times and will continue to do so. We ordered from here on superbowl Sunday since we are Philadelphia eagles fans.. Go birds! It was extremely busy and they had hundreds of orders called in but they still had ours ready on time and they were phenomenal as usual. It doesn’t matter how busy they are, the food is top notch every single time. Just writing this review made me crave a Philly so I know where I’m eating tonight. I haven’t tried all of the locations but based on the overall experience while eating at the beach blvd location, I’m sure they are all on point. I’m so glad I found this place, even my super picky 15 year old loves it and that’s impressive. I can’t wait to go back after work.

Parking: It’s not the biggest lot but I have never had a problem parking even when they are busy. If I had to park on the street and walk I would still go. The food is that good

“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.“

“Johnnys is hands down the best pizza. The dough is fermented for 3 days before being used and their ingredients are imported from Italy. You can literally taste the quality with every bite. I’m soo glad I discovered Johnnys because I explicitly remember thinking how complicated it felt to order and waiting an hour felt ridiculous. Now, I can’t even imagine eating another pizza it’s THAT good.“

“I have been coming here for years. The Asada and fich tacos and are my favorites. Good pricing and very convenient with outdoor seating and limited parking. The whole corner building has been revamped and is looking really good. Also, if your in need of something else, there's hilltop liquor right next door.“

“We have been coming to Mona Lisa for 10 years. The quality is unmatched and the service is impeccable. We now live in Thousand Oaks and whenever we are in the area we make a point to stop at Mona Lisa. We always leave happy. Cannot recommend enough.“

“I came to this plaza today because I had to take a class over the weekend here and I'm happy I was stumbled upon this pretty sweet Thai spot. The atmosphere was chill and the service was pretty friendly. I got the khao soi chicken and it was quite tasty, tender chicken, thick noodles and crispy noodles, what's not to love. I was almost tempted to order some rice to soak up more of that awesome gravy. If I was in the area I would come back again.“

“Amazing breakfast burritos and tacos. The meat really is a cut above the rest and they have so many options. Easy to understand the menu. Amazing salsa bar (that’s how you know it’s good). The line is always super quick. This is the best restaurant to be in this location….. ever! Suitable for all party sizes if you order to go. However, if you have more than 4 people, it can get crowded in there. Honestly, it’s so nice to get your food and walk down by the beach to enjoy it!“

Both tasty, I got a little of each but it’s unlimited topping. Sauces were good if you like tahini. Signed up for their rewards and already got a free lemonade.“

“This is one of the greatest pizzas ever. I've tried a lot of pizza in Hb and FV. This had to be the freshest and most unique pizzas ever. They also have great names for the pizzas. I got the Home Alone and Life's a garden, Dig it. Amazing. I will be back for more pizzas. Also, while waiting for my pizza, I tried one of their signature beers. I was also so amazed how great it was, and it was one of the greatest beers ever. It was a great atmosphere, and the customer service was exceptional great. The whole experience was great. “First timer to Basil Thai and it was quite good. The location is a small place with a dozen tables and at 5pm on a Thursday, not busy. The anchor store for this shopping center was obviously T.J.
Service was fast, english was spoken clearly at my table with I guess Thai (?) spoken behind the counter. I had Chicken Basil Thai Fried Noodle plate and Tom Yum Noodle Bowl. I could not finish it all which is a good thing for takeaway. Both have a light spicy foundation that was not overwhelming and sufficient for lighter Thai palates. As a local customer, I will return.“
