“THE STAFF ARE VERY KIND VERY FRIENDLY VERY COURTEOUS AND THE FOOD IS BY FAR SOME OF THE BEST THAT YOU'LL FIND IN IMPERIAL BEACH LET ALONE SAN DIEGO. ALTHOUGH THE PRICES HAVE GONE UP BY ABOUT A BUCK OVERALL IN THE PAST COUPLE MONTHS THE FOOD IS WELL WORTH IT.“

“I DO recommend Pizza Port, however their pizza is not consistent. You can definitely tell if they are busy or not, the quality goes down. From the beginning, he was amazing to work with. Incredibly positive and accommodating from the start, we couldn’t have asked for more. The wedding ceremony was planned to be outside and of course, it rained that day. Guiseppe and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, allowed us to have the small ceremony inside the restaurant on short notice and made an incredible meal to follow. “We ordered delivery, received within 1 hour of ordering. Meat lovers Sicilian style. Slightly overcooked and burnt on the bottom, but flavor and was fine. Texture was a bit too crunchy but still well within edible standards.

We also requested napkins and plates, but those were not delivered with the food. No extra cost on those, so not receiving them didn't mean we were out any money. Just inconvenient.“

“Got stationed to work at the park it on market ACE parking structure, was excited of a smell of really really good pizza coming from somewhere, took a pep outside and saw San Remo Pizzeria, I took my lunch and tried one cheese and they had me, it was exactly what I thought super good thin Ny style slices, the sauce and crunchy thinness make you want to eat a whole pizza . And it’s all family ran that explains why it’s so good , thanks again every time I work there I’m grabbing a few slices.“

“Pizzeria Luigi was recommended by a friend, and it was a solid NY-style pizza stop. We ordered a pie with half White Girl and half Capone. We also got two slices of cheese pizza. Both the White Girl and Capone were fantastic, but the White Girl is definitely more memorable. It's got a perfect kick to it (not very hot, but great flavor).

The employees were incredibly helpful and kind. They threw in some garlic knots, which were greatly appreciated and tasted good. We ultimately ordered based on their recommendations, which provided us with a good experience overall.

If you're a tourist (which we were), pay close attention to your GPS, especially at night. We got a bit turned around in some neighborhoods and struggled making it back to the freeway.“

“I first met Mario, the owner, when he was selling pizza outside the brewery I worked at many, many years ago. Followed him as he helped open The Friendly up the block, and finally I'm stoked he's brought his talent to Chula Vista, my hometown. The burgers are my favorite, consistent and great, my wife and I always share a side of fires, and they're fresh and plenty for two to share. Crispy and juicy burgers with fresh vegetables and made how you ask. The chopped beef sandwich is super good, and the pizza is true to its NY style. All affordable, all legit.“

“My son and I drive 27 miles (one way) to Rosa Giant Pizza in Chula Vista every Saturday for lunch, the food is really THAT good! We have been regular customers for more than two decades. The super sub sandwiches and pizza are the best in the County.“

“We had cocktails, bruschetta, pizzas, budino and Sicilian pistachio gelato. We had Chianti Classico and the Little Italy cocktails. The wine was very good and full bodied and the Little Italy cocktails were very good. We had the regular bruschetta and the one with burrata and prosciutto. Both were very good but the burrata was fantastic. We had 4 different pizzas and all were excellent. The white pizza with brie, the prosciutto, sausage and the 4 meat. All were excellent with thin crust, wood fired in house and all very fresh ingredients. The desserts were fantastic. The gelato was very creamy and flavorful and the budino was like a very luxurious chocolate mousse. The gentleman that bussed our table kept our water topped up, our table clear and checked on us often. I will return and recommend Isola for others.“

“Ordered pizza thin crust. Taste was great but failed the stiff crust test. This on you pizza makers. 12 inch pie takes slightly less than one ladle of sauce. Put a little less cheese in the middle. Then the crust stays flat when you pick it up. Otherwise , you pick up the piece and all the toppings fall on the plate.“

“After reading multiple reviews for pizza in the area, we decided to try Bambino’s. I called on a Saturday evening about 5:45 for a medium Hawaiian. The grilled that answered the phone was brusque and businesslike, and took my order quickly and accurately. Not a lot of pleasantries, but she didn’t appear rude.

The neighborhood of the store was a little off putting. Bars on the home windows, and a junkie or two on the parking lot at the convenience store next door.

Inside of the shop appeared clean and smelled like good food. Cashier was again brusque, but that is okay because my pizza was handed out quickly and I was on my way.

Pizza was very, very good! Toppings were plentiful, crust was just the right amount of chew and crisp, and pizza was nice and hot! We very much enjoyed the entire pizza. The hope pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese packets were a welcome touch!“

“Great late night option after the convention as it remains open till 9:30pm PDT while others close at 9 or earlier. But keep in mind the variety of slices will be limited since they're only serving what's available. I recommend the Moto slices. Those were my favorite out of everything I've tried there. They also have good deals where with a number of slices, you get a drink with it. I believe it's 3 slices and a drink for $17. Seating area size is limited but it's nothing to worry about as there's a lot of areas where you can take the slices to eat. Cash and card accepted.“

“BEST PIZZA IN SAN DIEGO! And probably the most inexpensive pizza out here. These aren't ordinary slices, you get a quarter pie. All pizzas are made day of! The staff are absolute dolls.
