“I found the BEST pizza in San Diego. Crust was just right! Not too thick not too thin. The sauce was flavorful with the right amount of spices. My pizza was not greasy from the toppings. We ordered a Greek salad that was crisp and very fresh. The dressing was superb! What a tasty meal. I will be back!“

“Good fresh pizza that you can purchase by the slice or purchase the entire pie. The have an $11.00 special where you can get two slices of pizza and a soft drink. I believe for the dollars more you can upgrade to one beer. They usually have 10 different pizzas available and you can eat inside out outside in their large patio. Not the most cleanest feeling place but the pizzas are great. They also go sandwiches and pasta dishes but I can't comment on those as I haven't tried them yet. Good place to eat just before you go out to the beach to watch the sun set.“

“I DO recommend Pizza Port, however their pizza is not consistent. You can definitely tell if they are busy or not, the quality goes down. A few weeks ago the pizza was delicious, beautiful even (I wish I would have taken a picture) lol. Today, not so much , picture included. “If you are looking for a true Italian experience in San Diego, look no further than Vinarius! We worked with Giuseppe (owner) to host our wedding celebration here back in March, 2023. From the beginning, he was amazing to work with. Incredibly positive and accommodating from the start, we couldn’t have asked for more. The wedding ceremony was planned to be outside and of course, it rained that day. Guiseppe and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, allowed us to have the small ceremony inside the restaurant on short notice and made an incredible meal to follow. “Came to TNT on the recommendation of a local and holy f*** balls I was blown away. If I had the disposable income I’d buy a private jet and fly to San Diego to eat here once a week and fly home, my carbon foot print would look like a slice of their pizza and I would okay with it cause my belly and soul would be content. Every pizza I have after this will be a disappointment to me.“

I ordered two biggest sizes and one medium and there was not even a crust left. “Not sure about the bad publicity that all seems to come about 5 months ago. I went here over a year ago. Was the best pizza I have had for 30 years. Yeah, I don't get out much. I was peddling my bicycle around and got lost. Was pretty damn hungry when I ordered. This is not a grab and go joint. You are not going to get your order in two minutes like 7-11 where they have a machine that can cook a frozen thing and call it pizza. The crust was greatest. The toppings not packed on like other places that think more stuff means better. I went outside to eat because I was sweaty and gamey. Went back in, gave a second tip and shook the owners hand.“

Followed him as he helped open The Friendly up the block, and finally I'm stoked he's brought his talent to Chula Vista, my hometown. The burgers are my favorite, consistent and great, my wife and I always share a side of fires, and they're fresh and plenty for two to share. Crispy and juicy burgers with fresh vegetables and made how you ask. The chopped beef sandwich is super good, and the pizza is true to its NY style. All affordable, all legit.“

Finally, I had to ask someone walking by if we had a server. He apologized and sent someone over to take our orders. The service got better but wasn't great. “After reading multiple reviews for pizza in the area, we decided to try Bambino’s. I called on a Saturday evening about 5:45 for a medium Hawaiian. The grilled that answered the phone was brusque and businesslike, and took my order quickly and accurately. Not a lot of pleasantries, but she didn’t appear rude.

The neighborhood of the store was a little off putting. Bars on the home windows, and a junkie or two on the parking lot at the convenience store next door.

Inside of the shop appeared clean and smelled like good food. Cashier was again brusque, but that is okay because my pizza was handed out quickly and I was on my way.

Pizza was very, very good! Toppings were plentiful, crust was just the right amount of chew and crisp, and pizza was nice and hot! We very much enjoyed the entire pizza. The hope pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese packets were a welcome touch!“

When I got there 5-min or so after calling, I paid while waiting and a large pizza was a total of $8.69 (including tax). When I ate it at home, the pizza was very good!!! It has the perfect amount of all the classic ingredients!! If you end up re-heating some slices at a later time, I suggest you soak a table napkin with water then put it with the pizza in the microwave so the crust is soft when it's heated up!! :DDD“

They generously donated to our local, essential workers during the pandemic...on numerous occasions.
