“THIS HUSBAND AND WIFE.......EXCUSE ME...... THIS WIFE AND HUSBAND TEAM ROCK THE VALLEY!!!! BEST EATS BY FAR!!! LOVE THESE PEEP'S!!!!“
“It has been a minute since I've been to the Renaissance Esmeralda here in Indian Wells. I'm not a big fan of the colossal golf/spa/resort complex of which this is a good example, but Goldenvoice puts people here for Coachella and Stage Coach so I've stayed here a couple times. This lobby espresso bar is new from last time, a welcome addition because I also got a room service breakfast from here (50) and it was capital P pathetic, so just send someone down here and get a coffee and whatever from this place and save yourself 40 dollars. Also this is one of those locations where leaving to go to Starbucks is a major production so having something serviceable in the lobby is great.“

“Had to drop a star‑studded review for Yes Please, this little café is a gem!
The avocado toast with beets and arugula is simply perfection. The baked goods, especially huckleberry scones and flaky biscuits, had me hooked. Coffee? Next level.
During a Sunday street fair it was busy, but the team handled it like pros—with big smiles and efficient service.
Pet‑friendly outdoor patio, good parking, and a menu with something for everyone. Breakfast and lunch only, but it’s absolutely worth the early start.
5/5 and can’t wait to return!“

“Been enjoying all Koffi locations out here in the valley for years and never disappointed. DELICIOUS! Our go to’s we almost always get are their BEST cinnamon rolls with icing and the mesmerizing Malted Mocha Freeze. Delightful and dangerous – a bit of addiction and brain freeze might occur - you’ve been warned!“

“One of my absolute favorite nighttime holiday treats! 🍨 The gelato here is top quality with a premium taste. What makes it even better is the wide variety of options vegan, nut-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free …which is a lifesaver if you have food sensitivities like I do.
They rotate flavors weekly, so there’s always something new to try (I’ve sampled at least 12 so far!). My personal favorites are the boysenberry and the cookies-and-cream both are amazing. If you call during the day, you can even make special requests when it’s not too busy, which is such a nice touch.
I also used them for catering with their ice cream cart at an event, and it was a huge hit. Hands down, the best local ice cream spot in the valley!“

“I like Dutch bros coffee a lot. It’s a lot more consistent than for example Starbucks. Dutch bros does my drink the exact same way every time without fail. This location everyone is so sweet and nice. They’re fast and efficient. I always come for a drink when I’m in town. I love a good picture perfect 💙
Dietary restrictions: They make substitutions and accommodations for everyone it’s super nice“

“My daughter and I agree - our best boba tea experience so far. With options to choose your level of sweetness 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% - all drinks are freshly custom made. I got the Thai milk tea with boba and my daughter got the chocolate milk tea with boba. We’ll go back again and next time I’ll try their flavoured jasmine tea. They also offer the home made fermented tea that I will try as it’s supposed to be full of probiotics and very time consuming to make.
For me the prices were reasonable - similar to Starbucks and you get a lot more. I don’t see how anyone could complain about that.
The woman working was very friendly and answered all of our questions which helped us choose the perfect tea for our mood!“

“The Coffee Bean in La Quinta CA was a wonderful option for those of us living in this area with only a Starbucks at every corner. My husband and I would go every Sunday as a treat for ourselves. The service was always great and we had been doing this for 15 years. I'm not sure why they had to close but we miss it so much. On top of my Sundays with my husband I treated myself to a white chocolate latte every Friday as a treat for getting through another week of work. I miss it so much. The closest Coffee Bean is in Palm Desert and it's way to far to detour on the way to work. Very sad please open another location closer to Indio and La Quinta.“

“Food & coffee was excellent as usual. But for the first time ever, the staff and atmosphere were disappointing. No personal cup discount or stars, despite saying it at the time of order. Plus, I handed her my cup and she filled it (counter order). Then the topper! The most neglected bathroom that i have ever encountered at Starbucks. Trash all over the floors and the walls need to wiped once in a while. (Photos included)“

“Love everything about this place! The pastries are decious and freshly baked every day, the ambiance is beautiful, well lit with a great view, the staff is friendly, the customers are friendly... OH and of course the coffee and chai! My go to is either black dark roast or a dirty tiger spice (with three shots of espresso). It's fun to hang out here with wife and/or kids, or even pull out the laptop and work a bit.“
“Stopped in for an iced coffee after dropping something off at the post office this morning which is conveniently across the street and I am glad I did. The Daily Grind was very clean and the owner Mauricio was very friendly and welcoming. I love supporting small businesses and I will definitely drop in again soon!“
“I've been going to the La Quinta Resort in La Quinta, CA since the 1980's. We stay at least once a year and love going right before Labor Day. I went through their website on booking and used the 'Summer Escape' deal that was $248 a night with $40 pp for spa per diam and $100 dining credit per day. We got in around 6pm on Thursday and after driving 2+ hours from San Diego, we just wanted to get room service and chill. First of all, Eli Altamirano, is awesome at the Front Desk/Mgr and was wonderful. Along with Patricia at the Front Desk as well. When doing the 'Summer Escape' Deal of 2 nights at $200 for our stay for dining, no where did anyone state that it is $100 per diam NOT a cumalative, so, if we over spent on our per diam, we were charged the overage, even tho' we were under our $200 for our stay....this is very deceptive and I feel that I have been duped out of my monies that I had but for one, was not explained to me at checking in and I couldn't find it on the website either. Went to Morgan's for 5pm Friday night drinks and app's and while the website and the voice mail for Morgan's states Open at 5pm, the door was locked and here was me and others were waiting in the 115 degree temp's till around 5:10pm and we went around the side door, which was open to see the hostess state it wasn't open till 5:30pm. The Manager, was irked but there was no 'Sorry' from him and we all were met with a real attitude issue with the Mgr. We've been going to Morgan's for at least 10+ years and we've had issues with this Mgr before. We spend money, tip at least 30% and really don't appreciate being treated with such disdain. Bryan, the bartender is OUTSTANDING! Left him $40 tip on $130 for taking good care of us and softening the brunt of the brusk attitude of the Mgr. I called the Front Desk and they verified that Morgan's opens at 5pm and took off $50 for the wait in the hot sun and attitude of the Mgr. Food for breakfast at Twenty Six was always good with Salmon Benedict and the 2 men that have been there for 33+ years are SO nice and I believe their names were 'Fernando and Roberto' but I could be wrong...lovely guys!! My main beef about staying here on the 'Summer Escape' is it should be a Cumalative and NOT a per diam per your stay. If I'm staying from Thursday-Saturday, how is that broken up? No one explained and when I called to check out, it was $100+ higher. The toiletries are now very pedestrian vs. the Frederic Fekkai that they used to have. I know a lot of hotel resorts are scaling back but this hotel is another caliber vs others and no one wants non-descript soap, no Q-tips, John Wayne toilet paper! I'm bummed out and it left a bad taste after going here for over 35+ years and being a loyal guest!“

“I picked up some donuts for a few of our clients, but I struggled to carry all the boxes. Kenny noticed my difficulty and kindly offered to assist, despite being occupied with clients. Fortunately, some gentlemen also noticed my predicament and helped me transport all the donut boxes to my car in one trip.“

“Their Cucumber Mojito is very refreshing in the summer time. I add the Strawberry and Mango jelly to it. Just keep in mind its seasonal for summer time. Also, they updated their menu with more options and added Vietnamese coffee too! I can't wait to try it out next time!!
Update 8.09.2025
I've tried the Vietnamese Coffee and it was delicious. I personally liked it because it's strong Coffee, next time I'll ask to add a little more condensed milk to fit my taste. Since it strong Coffee, you aren't allowed to get it as light ice.“

“I love the newly renovated ambiance, the yummy vanilla latte with oat milk, and the exciting new updates Jodie from CaliRosina is putting towards this cute cafe in Old Town La Quinta!!! She truly believes in providing customers with the highest quality ingredients made without fillers and artificial ingredients. She sources some of the best tea from around the world and coffee from small business roasters that take pride in the products they produce. She's filled with detailed knowledge on tea + chocolates from Cali Rosina, and she's bringing her very educated background to Main Street Coffee! The best quality beverages are worth the wait, hand crafted to order. As she's putting her love and efforts into Main Street Coffee while balancing Cali Rosina, be sure to give her some grace during this transitional time period. It's a lot of work behind the scenes, but she's always soo delightful you wouldn't know just how much love is poured into every drink. I'm excited to hang out and enjoy lattes at the cafe this fall season! Well done Jodie + Team!!!!“
“I visit a Starbucks almost every day. They are my little retreats from my busy days. I live in NJ where dark roast, which I prefer, is available all day. But in CA, my winter home, they only serve it until 11 am. Please make avalable until 1 pm!“
“Always enjoy having a good starbucks on site at the JW Marriott here in Palm Dessert. It opens at 530am and closes at 2pm. Be prepared as the line is always long unless you get there early, but the staff was very cheerful and helpful when I was there for a couple of days. Got my OG iced Carmel Macchiato. See you next year when we return.
Parking: Plenty of parking at hotel ?
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ♿️ space and doors to hotel and starbucks.“

“A Starbucks these days is just a Starbucks. The chain that launched a thousand real estate careers has pretty much homogenized itself into just another coffee shop. The thrill of going into the warm, inviting "third place" is gone. The Christmas time thrill of the "magic", not so much.
This location stands out a little, it still has seats around small tables, a community high top and one or two padded chairs. The wi-fi is still free and there are a pretty good number of electric outlets. But its all-neutral colors and hard edges. And a not too easy drive-thru lane.
But, the crew here is particularly sharp, they understand how to run the place and seldom get it wrong. The drive thru staff is efficient, they usually have pleasant words. Yeah, there are other locations that are closer, but this is the one we like the best.
I like Starbucks Coffee. It is my favorite; I used to go every day. Now it's once or twice a week. It is not as warm and welcoming. The prices seem to increase by the order, and long before "inflation" gave an excuse. Others, like San Diego's Buzz have the edge on ambiance now.
Remember when they promised coffee would always be their core product. Now you're lucky to find a package of beans at a Starbucks.
Parking: The lot is small, there is parking in the center lot, but not close and you have to cross a travel lane. They have occasional jam ups.“

“Happy Tea is my go-to boba spot in Lq. The space is always clean and chill for catching up with a friend or just taking a break. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, they always let you know they’re happy to make any adjustments to your drink if needed.
As for the drinks, everything I’ve tried has been genuinely delicious. I highly recommend the Rose Garden if you're looking for something light and refreshing with lychee and boba. The Taro, and the Mango Slush w/o cheese foam) is also recommended. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Happy Tea is easily one of the best spots in LQ. Thank you to the ppl working there for always keeping the vibe at top-tier.“
