“It has been a minute since I've been to the Renaissance Esmeralda here in Indian Wells. I'm not a big fan of the colossal golf/spa/resort complex of which this is a good example, but Goldenvoice puts people here for Coachella and Stage Coach so I've stayed here a couple times. This lobby espresso bar is new from last time, a welcome addition because I also got a room service breakfast from here (50) and it was capital P pathetic, so just send someone down here and get a coffee and whatever from this place and save yourself 40 dollars.Also this is one of those locations where leaving to go to Starbucks is a major production so having something serviceable in the lobby is great.“

“I’d give 5 stars for my Horchata milk tea with grass jelly, cos it was so good and honestly hard to find a great bubble tea place in Palm Springs and this is one of the better ones for sure. The fact that there are so many non diary options is amazing.Downside is that they ended up filling up my cup with ice when I asked for very light ice.My fiancé got the Hokkaido milk tea which has great flavour but the tapioca balls themselves were not as chewy as some of the other ones we’ve had.We didn’t sit inside but each table has a simple board game on it. “From only my second visit here, 4 separate baristas remembered my slightly-complicated drink order (Iced Macha Latte with strawberry puree and double boba). I must say, the manager, Diana, is exceptional. She's always so friendly, welcoming, patient, sincere, and so professional. I love seeing her when I visit. Even if she doesn't take my order, she always makes sure to say hi and asks how I'm doing. Jason is also top-notch and so funny. I feel bad that I can't recall the names of the other baristas I see frequently, but they're awesome, too.

I much prefer their drinks and food over sbx. My favorite is the Caprese Sandwich. It's so cheesy and delicious. I also love the overnight oats! I get them every time I visit (which is almost every day).

My favorite drink is their matcha latte. It is far superior to any other matcha I've tried. Get it with a little strawberry puree mixed in. You'll thank me later. Let's not forget that they have real boba that they make in-house. I literally recommend adding it to every drink. I even love it in my matcha latte!

For anyone on the fence, ditch sbx and make this your preferred coffee shop. You get a far more personalized experience and far better quality and taste. Even their teas are better. And of course, their espresso.

You can mobile order, just like most places and they're quite fast. You also earn points in the app for each purchase, which you can accrue to use for free drinks, food, and merchandise. I recommend getting a digital CoffeeBean gift card in the app to pay so you earn points faster. If you go almost daily, that'll get you a free drink every week (I order a drink and food item each time).

If you're used to sbx, yes, they have the equivalent of frapps and just about everything. They just call them blended drinks. I'm personally not a fan of blended drinks, but my friends who have tried them here say they're very good.

I love this place, and for all the reasons I mentioned above, I keep coming back every day! I know you'll love it too!

Parking: Free parking on the street in front of the store as well as a free parking lot behind the shop.

“Coffee was decent. It was a little bitter, but still good overall. Definitely tasted like a dark roast, which some people may prefer. I like more of a smooth medium roast, so if you like dark roast, you will probably really like the coffee. The atmosphere is nice and the service was great. My friend ordered her drink a specific way and when it was messed up, they made her a new one right on the spot. The IW stands for Indian Wells, but since this one is outside of Indian Wells, the gentleman who works there told me it stands for I Want Coffee… which should be their t-shirt ❤️

“I've been going to the La Quinta Resort in La Quinta, CA since the 1980's. We stay at least once a year and love going right before Labor Day. I went through their website on booking and used the 'Summer Escape' deal that was $248 a night with $40 pp for spa per diam and $100 dining credit per day. We got in around 6pm on Thursday and after driving 2+ hours from San Diego, we just wanted to get room service and chill. First of all, Eli Altamirano, is awesome at the Front Desk/Mgr and was wonderful. Along with Patricia at the Front Desk as well. When doing the 'Summer Escape' Deal of 2 nights at $200 for our stay for dining, no where did anyone state that it is $100 per diam NOT a cumalative, so, if we over spent on our per diam, we were charged the overage, even tho' we were under our $200 for our stay....this is very deceptive and I feel that I have been duped out of my monies that I had but for one, was not explained to me at checking in and I couldn't find it on the website either. Went to Morgan's for 5pm Friday night drinks and app's and while the website and the voice mail for Morgan's states Open at 5pm, the door was locked and here was me and others were waiting in the 115 degree temp's till around 5:10pm and we went around the side door, which was open to see the hostess state it wasn't open till 5:30pm. The Manager, was irked but there was no 'Sorry' from him and we all were met with a real attitude issue with the Mgr. We've been going to Morgan's for at least 10+ years and we've had issues with this Mgr before. We spend money, tip at least 30% and really don't appreciate being treated with such disdain. Bryan, the bartender is OUTSTANDING! Left him $40 tip on $130 for taking good care of us and softening the brunt of the brusk attitude of the Mgr. I called the Front Desk and they verified that Morgan's opens at 5pm and took off $50 for the wait in the hot sun and attitude of the Mgr. Food for breakfast at Twenty Six was always good with Salmon Benedict and the 2 men that have been there for 33+ years are SO nice and I believe their names were 'Fernando and Roberto' but I could be wrong...lovely guys!! My main beef about staying here on the 'Summer Escape' is it should be a Cumalative and NOT a per diam per your stay. If I'm staying from Thursday-Saturday, how is that broken up? No one explained and when I called to check out, it was $100+ higher. The toiletries are now very pedestrian vs. the Frederic Fekkai that they used to have. I know a lot of hotel resorts are scaling back but this hotel is another caliber vs others and no one wants non-descript soap, no Q-tips, John Wayne toilet paper! I'm bummed out and it left a bad taste after going here for over 35+ years and being a loyal guest!“

Fortunately, some gentlemen also noticed my predicament and helped me transport all the donut boxes to my car in one trip.“

“I love the taro blended and the galaxy tea but the only problem is that they take a bit to long to get the order done, sometimes when I’m in a hurry and I need to be somewhere I have to wait 20 minutes or more even when there is only 1 or 2 costumers, I suggest faster people but over all everything is amazing“

I like it because despite the busy area & shopping center employees Excel at the job while maintaining a high customer service satisfaction.

Be prepared as the line is always long unless you get there early, but the staff was very cheerful and helpful when I was there for a couple of days. Got my OG iced Carmel Macchiato. “A Starbucks these days is just a Starbucks. The chain that launched a thousand real estate careers has pretty much homogenized itself into just another coffee shop. The thrill of going into the warm, inviting "third place" is gone. The Christmas time thrill of the "magic", not so much.

This location stands out a little, it still has seats around small tables, a community high top and one or two padded chairs. The wi-fi is still free and there are a pretty good number of electric outlets. But its all-neutral colors and hard edges. And a not too easy drive-thru lane.

But, the crew here is particularly sharp, they understand how to run the place and seldom get it wrong. The drive thru staff is efficient, they usually have pleasant words. Yeah, there are other locations that are closer, but this is the one we like the best.

I like Starbucks Coffee. It is my favorite; I used to go every day. Now it's once or twice a week. It is not as warm and welcoming. The prices seem to increase by the order, and long before "inflation" gave an excuse. Others, like San Diego's Buzz have the edge on ambiance now.

Remember when they promised coffee would always be their core product. Now you're lucky to find a package of beans at a Starbucks.

Parking: The lot is small, there is parking in the center lot, but not close and you have to cross a travel lane. They have occasional jam ups.“
