“It has been a minute since I've been to the Renaissance Esmeralda here in Indian Wells. I'm not a big fan of the colossal golf/spa/resort complex of which this is a good example, but Goldenvoice puts people here for Coachella and Stage Coach so I've stayed here a couple times. This lobby espresso bar is new from last time, a welcome addition because I also got a room service breakfast from here (50) and it was capital P pathetic, so just send someone down here and get a coffee and whatever from this place and save yourself 40 dollars.Also this is one of those locations where leaving to go to Starbucks is a major production so having something serviceable in the lobby is great.“

“We came here and there was already a line waiting out the door. When we got to the front, there were a bunch of samples to choose from. Everything looked really good. I sampled the Panna Cotta and it was light, smooth, creamy, and sweet but not too sweet. I was very surprised actually at how much I liked it. I already had my two flavors in my mind, but I would definitely come back to try a scoop of that and an affogato.

I got a scoop of Espresso and Tiramisu in a cup with a waffle cone on top. Both flavors were absolutely delicious. I loved the texture of the gelato, it was so creamy. Prices were a little steep, but the quality is undeniable. I'd definitely come back to try more of their flavors.

Service was good, it was busy with just two of them there serving a bunch of families in line. But they were very helpful and pleasant. I can't wait to swing by again when I'm back in the area.“

“I stopped at the one by the outlets at Orange and talked to a lovely lady named Madison. She was very helpful and educated. She suggested the Salted Caramel, it was delicious! I’ll be recommending it to everyone. It has milk chocolate covered almonds in it and a nice caramel drizzle!! 😋🍨“

“Pineapple Dole Whip! This location seems a tad bit smaller than others but they make up for it with incredible service and churning through long lines easily and making you feel welcome while doing so. I’m not a huge fan of ice cream but I’ll always find a reason to grab a Pineapple Dole Whip.“

“I'm genuinely upset that I've lived here for almost a year and today was my first time going. The workers are so kind and welcoming. Breakfast sandwiches are delicious, the donuts are fresh and tasty and the Vietnamese coffee hits the spot. “I was looking for things to try around town and found this place that boasts Date Shakes stating a must try while in town. I got one and it was good, not as thick as I was hoping but good flavor. However, on the sign I see they offer Mangonadas, one of my favorite drinks but also a Pinada; a Pineapple version with Dole whip. Now that is a must try. It's my new favorite drink. It's a great mix of sweet, sour and a bit of heat. Yummy. I also like the sprayers outside thir door to cool you off. A nice touch.“

“Has great ice cream—rich, creamy, and exactly what you expect from Handel’s. Portions are generous and the customer service is decent. The only downside is that this location doesn’t offer samples, even though other Handel’s locations do, which makes choosing flavors harder. Still a solid spot and worth stopping by“

“I have been to a majority of the Ben & Jerry's locations and the primary difference between this location and a majority of the rest is the woman by the name of Annemarie. I came in with my wife and Daughter and Annemarie wore a smile and made us feel more than welcomed. There was plenty of people for a Friday night but, she made each and every single person's experience feel amazing! My daughter could not decide a flavor she gets overwhelmed easily. Annemarie took the time to not only handle everyone else but also make the experience special for my daughter. I left that Ben & Jerry's with more than just an ice cream and my daughter now asks when we can go back and get more ice cream and see that nice lady (Annemarie).
My family and I will be back through summer not only for the amazing ice cream but the fantastic staff for making it special for not only for my daughter but for everyone else she smiled towards and interacted with!

“This place has a lot of ice cream flavors and even some dairy free sorbet flavors. They serve beer and snacks both hot and cold. You can get waffle cone, you can get chocolate covered bananas here as well as some other novelty treats. The ice cream flavors were the classic ones and tasted fresh and delicious. There’s room for seating inside.“

“I went here for my birthday and it was amazing! I got to pick anything I wanted to put in my ice cream and it was free because I was a member. There ingredients are excellent and they have many options to choose from. I will definitely come back often. I brought my grandmother here and she thought there ice cream was excellent and it is her favorite now.“

“Yum, yum, yum. Very nice place with great flavors. I can really recommend mango, chocolate and salted caramel pretzel. Large menu with toppings and good stuff.Place is extremely clean and neat. No background music (but tv was on in the kids corner) so it feels a bit "empty".But over all a great place and we are definitely coming back.“

I sent an email and finally after a month Claudia replied called me on phone plus email . I spoke with Claudia and she made things right by me and was very apologetic. “Stopped at Shields today. We had breakfast, followed by a walk around the gardens. So many trees had fruit on them, just going to waste. Signs all over saying "don't pick the fruit." Instead of letting the fruit rot on the trees, why not pick the fruit to sell or even donate to a food pantry? I was saddened seeing all the fruit going to waste.“
