“First of all, the food and our waiter were excellent! We found the music to be a bit too loud, at times it was hard to hold a conversation. Our seating was the biggest problem. We were seated at a table right where the kitchen elbows. Most every waiter/waitress walked by with their big trays, most everyone who needed to be seated walked by. That table in this restaurant needs to be totally removed. I would go back - but only if I could be seated at a different table.”
“Went here for the first time today. I wouldn't really call this a tap room. I would call it an incredibly well stocked bar with some beers on tap and a lot of beers in bottles and cans. I've been to probably 50+ breweries and more than 20+ taprooms in my life and this is not what I expected. Anyway, I ordered the taco pinsa. It was almost excellent. Just needed the bottom of the bread to be cooked a little more crunchy. But the flavors and idea of it was so good! We sat outside and played cards and it's a nice environment in which to hang out. There was a guy down the street playing music so that was cool. I gave the service a 4 because all the women were so nice but, of course, I got the crabby guy. Anyway, if this review sounds good, it's worth giving it a try!”

“Yummy! The chicken tender was very tender, served fresh, and had amazing flavor. I order it hot with the Dave's sauce. It came with a slice of white bread and sliced pickles. The tender was large, too. All for only $7. Will definitely be one of my go to. It was very clean and the team had great customer service. Maria recommended I try honey on the wing. Great advice. It was so delicious. I wish I had ordered more.”
“It was all OK... The tri trip and pulled pork was pretty moist. Portions were good and the value of my meal excellent.
The Mac & Cheese didn't dry out and the corn (IMHO) was very very good...couldn't eat the bread which seemed like a basic, grilled hot dog bun.
The worse part are the water cups, so tiny... I had to make 4 trips to the cooler to refill. Hated that part.”
“It's a very nice Mexican restaurant. My waiter was great and the food came out fast. I only have one complaint. I'm from the Midwest, Kansas and our Mexican food is served with ground beef, not shredded meat unless you order fajitas. I guess it's a California thing to use shredded meat instead of ground beef. Next time I google a Mexican food restaurant, I'll check out the menu first to see if they use ground beef!!”
“This restaurant has been around for 60 years. I have been a regular guest for 5 years. The staff is very professional and friendly! If you want a pleasant experience, I will look for you there! The menu is full of great dishes and if you like Margaritas, the ladies will set you up nicely! Located in Old Indio, they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! They have outdoor seating and any restaurant around this long means they are very good!!”
“Phenomenal al pastor and chorizo tacos! Also great rice and beans (super flavorful). Going the carne asada and chicken to be fine, but made better with copious salsa.
Above all, the service was fantastic - great humans, very kind, quick service. A great simple clean dining room to complement the well prepared and tasty food.”
“Wonderful lunch outdoor setting, delicious food and very friendly service.”

“Abel and I went to eat at this location a few days ago and Kim who is one of the managers was the kindest, sweetest and most amazing manager I think we've ever met. She took care of us without issue when we ran into a problem with our cards, Kim was gracious and just a kind soul. To come across a manager with her kind of compassion is rare. We wanted to leave her a review to let everyone know that she made our lunch GREAT and if you are in town and you get to meet Kim, you will see what we mean. THANK YOU KIM!!!! 💜💜💜”
“I have gone to the restaurant and to the stand and I recommend both places. They're friendly and attentive; the restaurant is clean and the staff is welcoming. I've tried their Al Pastor tacos, carne asada and suadero and its a really good flavor. In my opinion their Al Pastor is very authentic; it reminds me of my childhood in Mexico.”
“Saintsteelwood is a live rock band and one of our favorite places to play is The Tack Room. We play feel good sounds of the swingin' 60's. Please come see us play and dance to our live music. There's a large dance area, friendly staff and great food. We play throughout the Coachella Valley. ✌️❤️”
“Wonderful ambience and service- and fresh, fresh, fresh sushi!! Erin and staff were excellent! Can’t wait to go back- highly recommend!!”

“We love coming here- small mom and pop with great Chinese dishes. We love coming for the dim sum which is served between 11-4pm daily. Shumai, soup dumpling, shrimp steamed dumpling and veggie dumplings are our go to. Their seasoned green beans, stir fried beef dish, chow mein, and wonton soup is also a must try. They have plenty of indoor seating and a beer/wine list as well.”
“I was visiting from Canada and celebrated the release of a debut music video at a place no more fitting than Big Rock! It was my first time here and I couldn’t believe how jaw-dropping the entire experience was. The glass-encased piano below my feet and the guitar-shaped door handles already had me grinning from ear-to-ear before I even stepped inside! The place got more magical as my eyes wandered in delight at all the musical wonders to look at throughout the well-used space - walls, floors, and even the ceilings were covered in signed guitars and incredible artwork. I tried their smash burger (subbed with a vegan patty) and it was delicious! I loved how it was served over tater tots instead of a bun, and its presentation was top-notch. What an exciting and memorable place! Thank you for running such an an awesome joint. Cheers!!”
“JOY is our favorite Asian restaurant. It never disappoints and last night was no exception. It was my wife's birthday and they took great care of us. Great food and great service!”

“This is honestly the best del taco I’ve ever had, all the employees were really nice people and gave me suggestions on the menu, big shoutout to Armando for cooking my chicken cheddar quesadilla, my food had the perfect crisp and delicious flavor. Thank you so much Armando and the del taco crew that day🙏”
“I really enjoyed the quesadilla. Initially in dropped in just to explore the menu, but the aroma was amazing and I ended up ordering food. They really have attention to detail with their signature offerings. I see myself dropping in more often. Especially great for those using the 4th & 9th subway station.”
“A Friendly Place With Good Customer Service and everything made fresh 💯👌😋”
“Don't recall ever seeing a Falafel burger anywhere, yet they have one, and very delicious one at that. The onion rings are most excellent. My husband had the sweet potato fries that he says they are delicious (I hate all sweet potato fries). The restaurant is clean, the employees very accommodating and nice, and they serve beer - can't get much better than this. Worth checking out if you've never been, I know I'll be back.”
Takeout Restaurants
“If you want a quick and easy lunch, this restaurant is great. The lunch specials are under $11 and they include soup, main, rice, and iced tea. These are dinner sized portions. Food was good, and it hit the spot.
To the person who complained about the service: I had the same server you had and let me tell you. She runs the entire dining room by herself, also serves drinks, handles take out and seats guests. I’m a server myself and she doesn’t have to be smiley through all of that. She’s efficient and doing a lot at once. I’d like to see you try.
To the guy who complained about the rice being “too grainy” (you might be the same person): Really? Is your water too wet, too?”
“BEST Sushi in the desert! Consistently great.”
“Loving coming here the food is always good and just an old dinner vibe! I always get the cheeseburger with avocado and bacon. One of the only thing that sucks is the pricing really doesn’t make sense single cheese burger avocado and bacon is 9.99 but with the double is five bucks more. Overall great experience and really good food!”

“I'm 61 and I've been going there since I was around 6 or seven years old. My dad took me there on our way to salton sea fishing. We would stop at the bait store next door. The foundation is still there. I had lunch there today and just love the double cheeseburgers and fries. My uncle Kenny worked at the gas station there before I was born. Lots a memories.😁”
“I would say the store is original, signature, and actual. The drinks are all great, the foods are delicious, staffs are nice, the prices are affordable, ingredients are top-quality, the place is clean and nice-looking, the atmosphere is comfortable and cool. It is a really perfect place to hang out for every age. I’ve been coming here for like 3 years, since the day they first opened it. I highly recommend this place! Come through and try out some of the drinks and foods here! You won’t be disappointed. ”
“I came to get lunch at the busiest time of the day and there was a Guy getting ten sandwiches and seven others waiting in line. The very nice employee named Jenny was working solo because the other employee was on mandatory break and Jenny quickly got everyone taken care of with a smile and kind words. Get that girl a raise, she deserves it.”
“Absolutely the BEST I have ever eaten in my 80 years! Lunas is a wonderful, warm, friendly village restaurant at the new Canopy in Indio. Staff and ambiance are extraordinary.”
“Amazing experience even though we thoroughly embarrassed ourselves while we were there. So grateful to Mike and his team for their next level superior service, delicious food, incredible empathy and generosity. Thank you! We will be back with much more to contribute the next time. :). Thank you to the entire lovely team here.”

“I'd like to give a shout to one waiter who was working in the entire IHOP. Taking orders, running receipts, answering calls, seating customers. IHOP if you're reading this please know you're over working your staff and making it incredibly difficult for customers to have good overall experience. I hope the person is getting double or triple paid for wearing all the hats except for actually making food.”

“Has great ice cream—rich, creamy, and exactly what you expect from Handel’s. Portions are generous and the customer service is decent. The only downside is that this location doesn’t offer samples, even though other Handel’s locations do, which makes choosing flavors harder. Still a solid spot and worth stopping by”
“A brewery should have good beers. Desert Beer Company certainly has that. But they also have beertenders that are friendly, and more importantly, knowledgeable about their offerings. Add to that good food, and as a bonus, a great location, you have a winner.”
“We had a wonderful dinner! And then they brought us a dessert and card for our anniversary. We highly recommend this restaurant.”
