“A bit late, but I just have to share our incredible experience at La Fonda! We were a group of nine heading to a concert at the Kia Forum, so we already had some challenges—limited time before the show and managing a large group. I was prepared for things to be tricky, but Frances and the team made the entire evening seamless and absolutely stress-free.\n\nFrances was exceptional from the start. Her communication was clear, professional, and prompt, and she handled our group with such ease and expertise. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfectly timed for us to enjoy our dinner and make it to the concert without a hitch.\n\nWhen we arrived, the restaurant was bustling (there were other large groups also heading to the Kia Forum), but despite how busy it was, everything ran like clockwork. Our food arrived on time, and every single dish was delicious—every person in our group was impressed. The service was impeccable, even during such a high-pressure, busy time.\n\nParking? No issues at all, which is such a bonus when you’re on a tight schedule. And when it was time to head out, the staff made sure we had clear directions to the Kia Forum, saving us time and hassle.\n\nLa Fonda is now officially our go-to spot for pre-concert dinners! “I dont know what was on the cooks mind on Saturday afternoon. But the food that was coming out was loaded with nothing BUT onions!! The cevviche was Onion Ceviche! Nothing but all ONIONS!! IT WAS DISGUSTINGLY HORRIBLE!! COULDNT EVEN EAT IT!! AND HAD TO THROW IT AWAY!!“

“El Rinconcito Monarcas is literally a hole in the wall that churns out some tasty food. The parking lot is small and shared with a few other businesses. There aren't a lot of spots, so one might need to hunt for street parking during peak hours. The do have a patio for outdoor seating, not optimal when presented with challenging weather circumstances. My order came out in a timely manner, probably about a 7 minute wait, while they weren't busy, I think they were filling delivery orders as well.

Just a solid wet Carne Asada burrito. Tasty and flavorful without being overly spicy. Good size portions and friendly to your wallet as well and it came with chips and salsa!

“I died and went to burrito heaven, so much flavour, not too salty, not too spicy, not too rich. A perfect burrito. The owners are also SO friendly and helpful. What’s more insane is how cheap the food was here. This is a core food memory for me. I ordered the Abodaba burrito. “Here in town (near LAX) from Houston, Texas. I was looking for an AUTHENTIC Mexican Meal and this place was SPOT ON!!!!! I don’t know how they are not jammed packed in here because the food is EXTRAORDINARY!!! Fresh Hot Guisos like Costillitas de puerco, Moles Poblano & Ranchero, Bistec Ranchero, Tampiqueñas, Menudo, Pozole to Mojarra Frita, Milanesa, etc… The Agua de limón con chía is Delicious and I CANNOT forget The DELICIOUS Hand Made TORTILLAS DE MAÍZ!!!! “Coni’s Seafood in Inglewood absolutely deserves its Michelin Bib Gourmand! This is one of my favorite seafood restaurants in all of LA—my go-to spot whenever I’m nearby.
I highly recommend trying:
* Tostaditos – Marlin pâté tostada topped with shrimp and octopus ceviche. So much flavor!
* Pescado Zarandeado – Grilled snook with house sauce, caramelized onions, and warm tortillas. Smoky, tender, and delicious.
* Ceviche de Pescado – Super fresh fish marinated in lemon with cucumber, tomato, onion & green chile. Refreshing and bright.
Pair it all with a lime margarita and a cold Modelo Negro and you’re set for an amazing meal. Can’t wait to come back!“

“My sons and I stopped in without any prior knowledge or recommendations. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! We were served home made chips, black beans, and salsa at the table, and had two baskets of chips!
My sons ordered the carne asada tacos. The steak was tender and savory. Traditional style “street” tacos BUT with a hefty serving of steak.
I had the fish tacos plate. The fish was grilled and seasoned tilapia, with homemade sauce and salsa. The three tacos were packed with fish. The rice was phenomenal and the refried beans were outstanding.
I normally don’t eat tilapia yet this was the best preparation I have had.
It truly feels like you’re treated to inside someone’s home, as the service was excellent and the food scrumptious.
I just wish I had tried more dishes and taken pics!

Both were good and did not feel too heavy. They also have jugos naturales (natural fruit juice) and agua frescas! Small parking lot.“

“Ordered 4 gorditas de carne asada and a large horchata. Total was $20. The horchata was excellent. Just the right amount of rice and cinnamon, even if just a bit too sweet. The gorditas were hand-made, but I wish they were made thicker. It was almost as thin as a tostada and was very crunchy as well. Great taste still, and the filling, including the asada, was tender and smoky like they grilled it. Very thin and tender pieces of meat, and they give a good portion size of it. 3 gorditas were enough to get full. Will try more items here in the future for sure. Great kind service.“

“Let's get the cons out of the way. This restaurant is in a residential area so there is very limited parking. We parked about a 5 min walk away. Also the restaurant is behind a house and there is very limited signage. We asked a neighbor who was working in his front yeard who pointed is in the right direction a few houses down the street.

The minute we found the place it was a 5 star experience. Thankfully we beat the crowd on a Sunday early afternoon. There were two other parties laready seated and we were seated immediately. All the seating is outside but they have a series of umbrellas and tents cover around 2/3rd of the seating. If you come during a busy time you may get stuck in the sun so bring sunscreen or a hat if you're sensitive to sitting in the sun.

The waitress was very nice. She answered our questions about the menu, which was heavily in Spanish, and made some recommendations. We got Chicharrones de Pexcado and it was fabulous. 10 out of 10 absolutely recommend. It was the favorite of everyone in the group. Then we got the Green Apple ceviche and an assortment of tacos (shrimp and fish) including Marlin Tacos). Everything was really tasty and I would absolutely recommend checking it out.

All the food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was great service sizes for sharing and the cats who were running around were adorable but also stayed a cautious distance from the diners.“

“Had my anniversary dinner here. It was awesome. The food was very good, I got the birria quesadilla, and my partner got two quesadilla fritas. It was absolutely delicious. The truck looked very clean and the tables were also. The chairs are sturdy. The horchata was pretty good, on the light side and refreshing. There are planes that fly over but it didn’t bother us. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!“

“I ordered Bionicos and a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake. My daughter loved the milkshake and still keeps talking about how good it was.

My bionics was great! I was able to eliminate the fruits I did not want (any melon), and the cream was good. The portion size was great and I could not stop eating it. Me and family look forward to eating there again.“

“First time visiting Los Angeles, and was recommended this place by the hotel we stayed at. At first, we were kind of worried because it looked like it was just a grocery store. But after we figured out that we went in through the wrong door we were pleasantly surprised!

It's nice and clean, but as far as I can see, only outdoor seating is available. And no public restroom.
The food is really good. I like the Carne Asada Nachos. They put a little kick in it. And have a large variety of shakes and smoothies which are always thick and delicious.“
