“Brunch! My party of 4 was delighted with the delicious food, with flavors of the African Diaspora and warm atmosphere. The host allowed us to change our hi top reservation due to two of my guests being seasoned and fierce, of course. I greatly appreciated that! The table next to us looked at our food and ordered some of our items just by the appearance. I will go back!“

“Absolutely the finest Soul Food. You don't want to skip this place. I had the lunch portion of the Oxtail and chose the Candied Yams and Mac and Cheese as sides. It came with 2 Cornbread Muffins. It was all delicious and filling. I ordered the Coconut Pineapple Cake for Dessert. It filled the container. See the picture. Totally Recommend this place.“

“My family and I were in town and looking for a soul food place to try when we stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. We originally went into the location to order from a different cook (not realizing that it was a shared kitchen with several different restaurants inside) and that's when we were greeted by a woman offering samples of her food from this place and we loved the taste, so we bought our food from her. The food was really good and well seasoned. We were happy with our food choice! Give them a try!“

Our first visit on Monday I ordered the smothered pork chops with succotash which was very tasty on Tuesday I ordered the oxtails mac and cheese and cabbage and very tasty“

“Let me start with its a very long line & wait.

The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. Customer service is fantastic. But geez the long line up…we arrived at 1:25 they open at 1:30pm & there was a long line, I mean long but they did provide ice cold water which was refreshing & needed when standing in the sun for any length of time.
By the time we got into the restaurant, order, pay & actually get our food it was 3:50pm. They have seating available once you get inside and wait another 30-45 min for your order so you can relax.
Yes people thats how long the wait is. 2.5hrs to wait for food don't get me wrong like I said the food was great but just cant see myself waiting in line again for that length of time hence the 3 stars for atmosphere. I was told the line up is the norm.“

Such a friendly young duo with the gift for amazing food, because this was the best soul food I’ve had ever since visiting LA. Just fire food and for those complaining about their attitude lol it’s very obviously stated how to order food and before walking in, maybe call and check if reading is to hard. “My husband and I loved this place! The best Italian sandwiches we have had in a while. We even liked it better than the viral All’antico Vinaio. We also got the tiramisu at the end, and after going to Italy this past summer this was the closest and best to the real deal. Also got a latte and their coffee is also amazing. If you are in the area definitely give this place a try.“

“I enjoyed their food...I didn't particularly care for the instant mashed potatoes... had I'd known that they were "instant" and not real mashed potatoes I would have passed on the instant mashes potatoes, and definitely not ordered that particular item with my 3 ( three)to go orders. Other than that..everything was good and seasoned just right... :)I support this business, and I love that they are also an organization that is helping men and women get back on track with their sobriety.. Dare U To Care Grill is helping to keep them gainful employment and also helping them establish stable housing.Everyone deserves a second chance...Dare U To Care Grill is doing great things!!
