“I went in for the first time yesterday, and the only thing I’m not happy about is that this spot is too far from home. The service was 10/10, everyone there was extremely kind and friendly.

The donuts were all very good, I took 2 boxes to two different clients and both were gone in under five minutes. The apple fritter was my standout favorite. Definitely will be back when I’m over this way again.

“I haven’t been here for a while and had a craving for the Chilaquiles. I knew they added a new Mole salsa so I called to order that to go. I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. They were so good I’m embarrassed to say I lick the plate clean🥴. And of course the churros were amazing as usual.“

“This is the best place for Korean yummies. I go as often as I can. The staff are awesome and friendly. They sell flowers and even have a little gift shop too. It's one of my favorite places to eat.
I get the tteokbokki often. The mini gimbab is also super good. The fried combo is also really good and good for two to share. The deserts are also delicious. My daughter likes the korean corn dogs with cheese and the tteokbokki too. All the drinks we've tried have also been very good. I plan on eating everything from there at least once.
I highly recommend this place to everyone.
The flowers I have bought here have outlived all the flowers I've bought at Vons and Walmart.

“Imagine coming to a Japanese Crepe Shop and then proceeding to be angry it’s not soft French Crepes 🙄

(Lacking personal touch because they used a kiosk?? Dude it’s just a kiosk, they still greet you. You can take your time looking at the options and personalize it to your liking.)

I’ve been coming to this place easily 20 times, and the quality has yet to drop. Fruits are fresh, sweet, and every element is perfection. Matcha cream is super rich with matcha flavor, vanilla ice cream is a seductive vanilla bean flavor, and the yogurt cream has a beautiful tartness to it. All wrapped in a beautiful crispy rice crepe.

(And they’re so generous with their servings!!)

I prefer Japanese style since I find French crepes usually disappointing and soggy (unless it’s a good shop)

“I loved the matcha but they gave my daughter the wrong pastry and she got upset. Mind you it wouldn’t be a big deal but it was her birthday. The croissant was also not warm, and the girl had asked TWICE if I wanted it warmed up. “I went here to find a good beans to purchase for my french press. The beans themselves are pretty good however the overall price of the establishment is kind of high. They do not include a free drip coffee when you purchase a $20 bag of beans. They also don’t give refills on drip coffee. Overall, the place looks pretty fancy and nice, but it seems kind of stingy.“

“Hiatus= opportunity for another stop in the LAtte tour. Today’s pilgrimage finds me in Sierra Madre at Syndicate, a fantastic find nestled comfortably downtown on Sierra Madre Blvd. Plenty of street parking and a beautiful place to take a stroll if you don’t score a spot immediately out front. The vibe is instantly welcoming, decor is colorfully minimalist, that’s probably not a thing, but it’s the best descriptor I have. The baristas are friendly, skilled and true devotees to all things coffee, even willing to share some potential sites to visit on the next LAtte stop. The coffee itself is excellent, rich, flavorful and no hint of bitterness. I went with oat milk this time and it paired perfectly with the blend, rich creamy, delicious! I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit should you find yourself in the area, or even if your not- expand your horizons and make it a destination, it’s worth it.“

“My favorite place in Uptown Whittier! Great for a quick bite or cup of coffee, and unique gifts in the shop. If you're lucky, you can get a parking spot right out in front, but usually won't need to park more than a block away on the busiest days. The staff are all super nice, too.“

“I had a tooth that was giving me the worst pain over the weekend. I called on Monday early afternoon and was able to be seen the same day. Crystal the dental assistant was great! She told me Dr. Ramirez would make sure I didn’t feel any pain. I ended up having to have 2 teeth extracted and with no pain at all. I have a new Dental office! Great job ladies 😁“

“This was a cool one of a kind Starbucks. At least the first one I've seen like it. Not your typical walk in and order or go through the drive thru, it was more of like a small stand that you can drive by, or you could walk up to, but they had outdoor seating. It seemed like it'd be a great place to hang out. Unfortunately we couldn't stay, because we had a busy work schedule while we're were there. But maybe in the future, if I find myself in the area, I will definitely go back and "take a load off fanny" and hang out.“

I notice they include more fresh produce in their drinks: using real passionfruit in their passionfruit green tea. Sometimes finding what you want on the kiosk can take longer time than you'd hope. “I hope this place stays open for a long time. The chicken is moist and full of meat flavor, while the soup is hot enough to cook even the shredded cabbage they give you. The rice was fluffy and soft to eat. I saw that they were kept busy with takeout orders when i came to eat weekday lunch, so heres to more visits in the future.“
