“I knew about Loving Hut in San Diego and was ecstatic to find one in LA county! Thoung (the owner) is the sweetest, kindest soul with the most genuine smile 😭💘 He was authentically connecting with my friend and I through conversations and thoughtfully answered questions when we were being indecisive - everything on the menu sounded sooo good! Not only was the food good (highly recommend the croquettes (pictured) and cakes!), but the experience was the BEST. We were offered samples when freshly baked cakes were being cut and shared a lot of laughs. We were only passing by this neighborhood on our way back to LA, otherwise we would definitely come back to support this business more often. This location has been open for 2 years and we hope it will be open for many more ❣️

It's awesome to see the staff having a blast together with great music in the background making the experience feel fun even when there's a wait. “I love Porto’s, this was my first time a this location and I had the most amazing experience today. The amount of parking this location has, so much seating space indoor and outdoor, and let’s not talk about the amazing customer service. I order the chicken milanesa and the dulce de leche latte both so delicious you can never go wrong with neither. I am so amazed on how often the workers will stop by my table to ask how was the food, if we needed anything else, helped clean our table and brought us to go boxes. Staff here is so friendly and nice. While having lunch manager james passed by our table, he was super friendly, and nice and we told him how amazing the staff was. He even recommended the steak torta and the Plato de pollo. I will most definitely be stopping by this location more often. I highly recommend this Porto’s.“

“We went to the Newport Beach location a couple of weeks ago. This was my first time ordering an acai bowl. The staff was very helpful and patient when I was building my bowl. Overall, from the time we walked in to the time we left, the staff was extremely friendly and nice.“

“What a GREAT dinner! Met friends here on a late Friday night and they fit us in. The sushi was fresh and so tasty, definitely the best I’ve had in a LONG time. The drinks were amazing, try a version of their old fashioned but so many different drinks to choose from. Our server Christine was so attentive & sweet. We felt the service was 10/10! I recommend the wagyu dumplings and Geisha roll!“

“I haven’t been here for a while and had a craving for the Chilaquiles. I knew they added a new Mole salsa so I called to order that to go. I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. They were so good I’m embarrassed to say I lick the plate clean🥴. And of course the churros were amazing as usual.“

Jackfruit tacos and jackfruit tamales red or green are my favorite. They also have vegan chili cheese fries, vegan burritos and impossible burger. This place never disappoints. The entire family can find a savory meal, they also have traditional Mexican food with meat and non-vegan options. They also serve breakfast burritos and chilequiles with a vegan option for both. “Love this sukiyuki restaurant! We get the standard vision, and it's very good! The meat quality is excellent, and melts in my mouth. The sushi is fresh, and I like their tuna sashimi as well. Curry is pretty good. Their milk tea is pretty good quality, and I recommend you try it. I definitely will come back to try better vision here. I recommend people come here early so parking and waiting time would be less, and make sure to eat wagyu as much as possible if you are hungry.“

“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. Thank you to the owner, Haydee, and her family for providing such a great first experience. I'm now a loyal customer!“

“I like this place. $13.99 per pound of food. You get to choose all your toppings. I recommend going heavy on the meats and light on the carbohydrates. That’ll be the best bang for the buck. They also have frog meat if that’s your lingo. I tried their beef bone broth and I like it a lot. I’d come back again.

Just a heads up. If you can’t eat mild this place won’t be for you. They can’t alter the broth. The only option is the tomato broth which is no spicy.“

“Yong moon lu is the best. I would go everyday if I could! The yangjang pi was the best I’ve ever had with just enough spice from the mustard. It was delicious as leftovers too (the portions were huge - we had leftovers for days). The fried chicken was really good too. Even better than the sweet and sour pork, which is typically my favorite. We were so full but still enjoyed the jjajangmyeon and jjampong. The candied sweet potato they gave at the end as a free dessert was absolutely delightful. I wish they sold it! It’s so good. Not too sweet (the best Asian compliment). The staff are extremely fast, helpful, and very hard working. We got great service. Can’t wait to go again! Try to go early because they have a huge wait but.. it’s also worth the wait. Parking lot is small-ish so find parking elsewhere on the street“
