“Got to try the burrito, Route 66, quinoa fiesta - those are my go to but anything on the menu I’ve tried is delicious. They keep adding to items in their market section which has frozen, refrigerated and packaged items - so stop by other or you can even see the market items via their website.“

The quality of the meats was very good, the tomato broth was our personal favorite, and we all really liked the sauce bar! It was their first time having any kind of hot pot and they really enjoyed themselves. We also did get the hand pulled noodle (it was great 😃👍🏻) and our waiter Siying was so helpful and attentive!! “Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “I haven’t been here for a while and had a craving for the Chilaquiles. I knew they added a new Mole salsa so I called to order that to go. I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. They were so good I’m embarrassed to say I lick the plate clean🥴. And of course the churros were amazing as usual.“

“Love this sukiyuki restaurant! We get the standard vision, and it's very good! The meat quality is excellent, and melts in my mouth. The sushi is fresh, and I like their tuna sashimi as well. Curry is pretty good. Their milk tea is pretty good quality, and I recommend you try it. I definitely will come back to try better vision here. I recommend people come here early so parking and waiting time would be less, and make sure to eat wagyu as much as possible if you are hungry.“

“I am away from home and haven’t had injera for a couple weeks so I decided to give this place a try.

Upon walking in, I was greeted by the server and seated promptly. The restaurant was clean and had a nice ambiance with traditional Ethiopian items displayed and Ethiopian music videos playing on a tv. The restaurant was easy to find and located right off a Main Street with plenty of parking.

I ordered the awaze tibse with a side salad. Craving satisfied! The food was delicious and fresh. The portions were perfect.

“I came here for a pre-movie lunch with my mom and boyfriend, and I honestly can’t wait to go back. The service was quick and amazing-our server was super sweet and helped guide us through the menu to find the best options. We all built our own burgers and went with the Angus beef (just $12 with unlimited sauces and toppings!). The sauce selection is where they really shine-so many unique options that make you want to try everything. We all got the bacon jam aioli and it was incredible. I added garlic aioli and sriracha aioli too, with Swiss cheese and basically all the toppings-lettuce, tomato, pickles, raw/cooked/pickled onions, and jalapeños. Lunchtime is definitely the best time to go since you get a free side of fries with your burger. I 100% recommend the sweet potato fries-crispy on the outside, soft and buttery inside, total perfection. This place hit every mark, and I’ll definitely be back.“

“We've been regular customers of the Monrovia Blaze since the first opened for business over 10 years ago. It's by far our favorite Blaze location. The pizza is consistently very good and cooked to just the right char. What really sets this location apart from the others is Marco, the store manager. He always greets us with a smile and engages us in nice conversation and demonstrates the unique ability to motivate his employees and leads by example. I've seen him doing every single job in that place at some point or another and always wearing a smile. He is a great assest to the company. Keep up the great work!“

“This is a hidden gem for delicious, affordable, generously sized bento boxes and plates. They take pride in their presentation and they don’t have to do this, but they also included a lot of little extra items that compliment your meal. Like many have said, there’s a little bit of a wait but our teriyaki chicken was made fresh to order and worth it. BTW, this California Roll Plate with Teriyaki Chicken has another layer of rolls underneath, so 10 rolls total. With rising prices, it’s so nice to find a place that serves a great meal with super nice staff for under $11.“

“If you have not had the chance to dine in at Girasol, I highly recommend it. The chicharon with guac is a must as a starter, make sure you get some of the spicy sauce. As for a recommendation for a meal, well you have to come in and try. We loved the chilaquiles, the carne en su juego, the menudo, and the breakfast burrito. If you have a sweeter taste, the French toast, the pancakes and the crepe are awesome. But as mentioned before, you just have to come in and try everything.“

“I like this place. $13.99 per pound of food. You get to choose all your toppings. I recommend going heavy on the meats and light on the carbohydrates. That’ll be the best bang for the buck. They also have frog meat if that’s your lingo. I tried their beef bone broth and I like it a lot. I’d come back again.

“Yong moon lu is the best. I would go everyday if I could! The yangjang pi was the best I’ve ever had with just enough spice from the mustard. It was delicious as leftovers too (the portions were huge - we had leftovers for days). The fried chicken was really good too. Even better than the sweet and sour pork, which is typically my favorite. We were so full but still enjoyed the jjajangmyeon and jjampong. The candied sweet potato they gave at the end as a free dessert was absolutely delightful. I wish they sold it! It’s so good. Not too sweet (the best Asian compliment). The staff are extremely fast, helpful, and very hard working. We got great service. Can’t wait to go again! Try to go early because they have a huge wait but.. it’s also worth the wait. Parking lot is small-ish so find parking elsewhere on the street“

“I saw the review from Lan Hoàng, and I have to speak up—because I was there that day, having lunch with my mom. And frankly, her version of the story is completely misleading.

She made a scene over the rice paper—complaining that 8 pieces for $2 was “too expensive” and demanding 12 pieces for $3. The prices were clearly printed on the menu. Then she loudly announced she could buy rice paper cheaper at the supermarket and bring it in herself. Seriously? That’s not how restaurants work.

Her voice was so loud that everyone nearby could hear her ranting, ruining the dining experience for others. The manager, to his credit, remained calm, professional, and stood his ground. He told her—rightfully so—that the price is $2 for 8 pieces, no exceptions.

Then she goes online and has the nerve to say the manager “lacks manners”? That’s laughable. If anyone was disrespectful, it was her. She should take a long, hard look in the mirror before she dares to judge someone else.

If I were the manager, I wouldn’t serve her again. Period. People like that come in with entitlement, create drama over one dollar, and then try to trash hardworking staff online when they don’t get their way. It’s not okay.

I will say this—the Bánh xèo was absolutely delicious. And that’s the only thing she got right.“
