“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “One of few places in Southern California that actually offers vegan talai. The naan garlic bread is out of these world. What I also love that they can make low salt food too and they have vegan mango lassi. Food is clean, so delicious and the employees are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you are in area. “Our favorite Ethiopian restaurant in Southern California! This is our go to restaurant and have been coming here for years. The food is always delicious!

Our go to dishes are the Regular Tibs, Atkilt, Kik Wot, and Gomen, they are perfectly cooked and seasoned each time. The injera is also delicious, we can’t get enough!

“The first time we came here was about 20+ years ago. We love their food, especially their authentic Korean tofu. I also love their condiments as an appetizer. We moved out of state and came back to visit. This restaurant is on our to-go list. The service was excellent; the waitress always checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. They were so good I’m embarrassed to say I lick the plate clean🥴. And of course the churros were amazing as usual.“

Great non-Mexico tacos! But so good. Crispy! Their burritos are fried so a little different. These old-school taco places are nostalgic and need to stay around. Service is always fast and friendly with reasonable prices. They make their own hot sauce, so it's pretty good. Go if not just for nostalgia.“

“First time here. The ingredients were fresh, though I'd appreciate some corn on the cob instead of just baby corn. Some tongs or ladles would be good for getting certain items from the pot. Potatoes and lotus need more cooking time than sterno flame can provide. Other than that the service was excellent and I love the coziness of the interior. However, hot pot for me should always have corn on the cob!“
