“VecchieOso Vineyard is the new place to visit! When thinking of wineries in San Diego, I always thought of Temecula. Now it is nice to have a closer option with this gem in the mountains of Jamul. They are also a part of the Wineries on Highway 94. We have been here for a few events: 3 art shows, live music, going to visit when new farm animals are born! If you can get on their Newsletter or Social Media, they go above and beyond to make unique and fun experiences for you to be involved in their community of wine lovers. There are snacks for purchase, but we also like to take up a late lunch to pair with their wine flights or a SpritzyOso and watch the view as the sun is setting. Looking forward to our next visit!“

Pearson Brothers Honey Winery. Winery •

“Our group had a great honey wine tasting and sourdough pairings. We arrived a little after noon and parking is limited and tight. Don't bring your big vehicles. We were greeted and then seated in the shade. There's a clean port a potty for the restroom. For $20, you get to taste their honey wine and sparkling honey wine with five delicious sourdough pairings. Highly recommend others to come! The owner (and chef) and his helper were so nice and welcoming. Their bottle of honey wine is $20 and the sparkling was $60. Lucky for us, it was on sale for $50.“
