“Semi busy lunch rush,...greatest right away which is always nice. I asked for a certain seat to keep a eye on my vehicle because my dogs were in the car staying warm from the snow fall. They said no problem, and let me pick a booth. Our food was correct, and hot. Seats were clean surprisingly,....a lot of wood in the restauran, so they for sure make the effort to keep it clean from dirt grime, and build up. The bathrooms were super clean. Over all a great experience for a midday lunch rush. The front door is in the back side of the establishment,.....make the effort to find it,...well worth it. PS. “Beautiful views of Lake Tahoe both indoor and outdoors. Service was excellent and really friendly. I got the fish tacos and the fish was grilled to perfection and well seasoned. My partner got the cheeseburger and fries and both were excellent. The fries are so tasty! Definitely would love to visit this restaurant again and this time, dine outside on their beautiful deck!“
“We love LOVE LOVE this local hangout:Food is beyond amazing; staff is incredible and the bowling is always fun (Thursday nights BOWL night!) but they also have pool + foosball + axe throwing & an arcade for the kiddos (and adults). The owners are SO benevolent, generous, gracious, humble yet so fun!!Their daughter (Alison) is such a personable yet hard worker and can throw a large party (as we did in '12 2022 for 85 people) in a minute or two~ everyone so enjoyed this event.If you sign up for their emails you'll get all the details about special dinners, charity events and all kinds of events.They have renovated this place to the max and THE famous Sam Choy (godfather of Poke and their menu creator) has special cooking classes and gives the best hugs.(The bowling pricing is the same as other lower end bowling places.)The bar staff makes the best cocktails & mocktails and are a lively, friendly & dynamic crew.Enough to say that this is a MUST go to if vacationing here or a local - more locals come here on a regular basis which says a LOT!“
“The building is super cute! They recently did a remodel and you can tell! It's super adorable and quaint. So I enjoyed that! The good... The drinks!!! They are delish! Really really well done! As well as the Guac and the Salsas! They were so good we took the extra home! Yum! The staff was super nice and attentive having it be a busy Saturday night and were quick to get drinks and food items to us! Now onto the main food. The veggie tacos were straight so amazing and good! The shrimp tacos were a little sad. They had good flavor. But only 3 skrrrriiimp on a huge flour tortilla for $11 a taco... is like... uh corn tortilla could make the 3 shrimp seem like much more! The garlic ribeye was very dry like it had been sliced and just sitting out, although another friend with the same order stated hers wasn't dry at all. 4 stars because $11 for a 3 shrimp taco on a huge flour tortilla didn't fit well. Now $6-8 for that same taco. I probably would have given 5 stars. $200 tab for 5 drinks, 3 taco plates, 1 burrito bowl, chips, salsa, and guac.“
“Lake Tahoe, NV - great experience if you book to dine at the Glass house! But be careful the house is small and the table is small so I don't suggest that if you have young children. It's a fun experience without any extra charge if you can get a reservation. It was 4 adults and 2 kids for us so we got to order a bunch of dishes to sample their menu. I highly recommend their risotto and salmon, scallops and clam chowder. The lamb was flavorful too if that's your taste. Otherwise, the filet mignon was tender and juicy which would make a good meat entree choice. Their Rockefeller oysters were decent but not the best I've had (gotta go to New Orleans for that) Garlic pasta was not available to order which was a disappointment. There is a reservation penalty with cancellation but we were able to get a table for dinner at 7:30pm same day so we didn't have to worry about that. Great restaurant to go to after a day of skiing and snowboarding.“

“We stopped for dinner after snowshoeing on a Monday. My calzone was delicious. The place was packed when we left. The one person was bar tending, waiting tables, and bussing tables. She did great for being by herself. ???I don't think it's normally this busy on a Monday. My first time here and I will be back!“
“I'm bumping up to five stars because of value.. pricing is normal, not Tahoe premium. The menu is a diner menu, meatloaf, burgers, pot roast. On my server's recommendation I had pot roast and mashed potatoes. The serving was generous and the food was tasty. To my surprise the mashed potatoes were homemade, not powdered. I mentioned that to my server and he told me that most of the food on the menu was house made. The decor ... Well, it's one of those places that has a lot of stuff up on the wall if you know what I mean. Bicycles, skis, stuff. Little bit dingy but not bad. I will absolutely return. If you are looking for fancy or pretentious, this isn't it. If you're looking for home cooking at a reasonable price you have found it.“
“The inside is totally cool. When we got there, they were busy. They had one dude at the front and woman behind the bar. Turned out she was bartending and serving. She was slammed but totally kicked ass. The buffalo mac balls were hella good and not too spicy. My son had the fig and brie grilled cheese. I had whiskey burger. Daughter had Salmon BLT. Everything was great. Service on point.“
“Their pizzas are wonderful. Definitely worth trying if you haven't. Don't go there often as they are out of the way for us. I'm compelled to write this review because of a fee they are now charging for pizza boxes. It was just under $4 and is literally to cover the cost of the pizza box. Very odd. I ordered mine to go but I'd be curious if I ate it there and then asked for a to go box would they also charge me? To be honest that whole tactic rubs me the wrong way. Just increase the cost of you pizza to offset it. What's next, bathroom use fee? How about a dish wash fee? Obviously these are absurd examples but it's the same idea. All of this is the cost of doing business. Ultimately it's up to the owner to make their choices but I just wanted them to know that it's a bad approach. That's my two cents. Again the food is well worth the visit. Thanks.“
“This is the best place in Tahoe City for burgers in the summer. Out door dining is the bomb and those burgers are charbroiled masterpieces. Waffle fries are my choice to go with these burgers.Parking is super tight in the summer and winter the snow takes up parts of the parking lot. Indoors is nice in the winter too. The burgers are the best thing here anytime of year.“
“I called ahead to order. Very good customer service and the food was ready at the estimated time. The restaurant is in the back past the bar and pool tables. I got burrito bowls with carne asada and carnitas. Excellent flavor, not greasy, and I will definitely be back“
“Great place rode the gondola up from North Star village. Our server Max was amazing! Food was great, atmosphere amazing. Definitely good place after a long day of skiing kids loved it too. Drinks were amazing too. Don’t let the negative reviews scare you off. Definitely come here and enjoy good food, drinks and atmosphere. It’s pricy but it’s the Ritz sooooooo.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved it. They also know how to behave in a nice restaurant.“
“Great pizza and great service, we choose a specialty pizza and the ingredients were of high quality and fresh on a nice crust and I can safely say one of the better pizzas I had in 2023. We also got a Brussels sprouts appetizer to share and that was a hit with the table, paired with excellent customer service this places is a standout in the area.“
