“Another of our favorites when visiting the North shore of Lake Tahoe. Cozy, Cabin-ey feel, right on the golf course in the woods. The meals have been delightful, the wait staff does a great job with probably too many tables/customers. The bartender is knowledgeable and experienced. Lots of good wine info. We'll be back!“

“Christy Hill is our favorite restaurant in Tahoe City, and we make a point of coming (sometimes more than once) when we are here. Location is great, with a beautiful lake view - inside or outside, the ambience is wonderful. Service is great - while we only come several times a year, the team (including the owner Alex) makes a point of remembering us and saying hello. Food - the menu changes seasonally, and we've always had wonderful food. I am pescatarian, and there are always several choices (including fully vegetarian or vegan options). This past visit, my husband had the steak, my son enjoyed the venison, and I had a lovely halibut dish - all very creatively prepared and flavorful. One note - they serve beer and wine, no hard alcohol. The wine list is very good, and wines are reasonably priced for a restaurant. Highly recommend! During busy times, be sure to make a reservation well in advance!“

“Tapas style restaurant, so we tried several items - Bacon Wrapped Medjool Dates (favorite at the table!); Arugula Salad (mint was a delicious touch!); Lobster Sliders (lots of lobster!); Grilled Wild Alaskan Halibut Tacos (just scrumptious!).

This was actually a referral restaurant for us, and we were so happy to enjoy dinner there! Great food and drinks (Old Fashion and the Chocolate Martini)!

“Phenomenal. Brussel sprouts, fries, and the biscuits to start. Chicken thighs main: toughest decision I’ve made in a while but it was the right one. Top 5 dish I’ve ever had in my entire life, zero exaggeration. The chicken melts like butter and is complemented perfectly with the crunchy/savory potatoes below. “We had a wonderful and Fun dinner here! Started with the delicious cheese fondue ???, soooo yummy! Then we decided to have both an oil and a broth fondue ?. You can dip your shrimp and veggies in a tempura batter, too, for a different flavor. The 6 sauces were excellent for dipping your cooked items! We really enjoyed the fun evening with our friends and laughing at the different ways to eat each item. I recommend the "dinner for 2" which gives you an array of items to cook! We will return!“

“The Sawyer is a lively and fun place to dine. Service is excellent. We had the beef stroganoff, portobello mushroom on brioche bun, cheesy loaf were all made to perfection. Yum! Special shout out to the cheesy loaf— we would go back just for that. It is that good! While the room was full of energy, the entire experience was relaxing and we got to enjoy our meal and have nice conversation. Our server did a great job! And we were never rushed. We had a wonderful night. We will be back!“

“You are paying for the outside scenery. It is truly beautiful. The service was attentive and met the owner who was very polite.

However, the food I had was very usual bar food. Wings tasted like cysco frozen wings. However, EVERYWHERE in incline seems to have same run of the mill food. Enjoyed their fries alot.

I would come here for a beer and the outside anytime.“

“Best patio in Lake Tahoe! It helps that the drinks and food are always fantastic. But also the service, we had a couple of little ones with us that ended up spilling a glass of water early in the meal. A complete accident but the manager reacted with urgency to get us dried off, a new glass of water and replaced the kids activity book before any tears were shed. Overall a great visit that we ended up going twice during our trip.“
