“Fabulous 👌!!! This is my favorite bakery. Whenever I'm in charge of picking up a cake for any special occasion, only the strawberry cake with almonds will do. The cake is perfect every single time.
Service is friendly and efficient,
Parking can be hard to find so bring a friend that can drop you off, drive around the block, and then pick you up.

“My family and I were in town for my brother's birthday and needed a cake that could feature his DJ logo (shameless plug—Raulie Smilez, go check him out! 😉).

I searched for cake shops nearby and came across Maksen. After seeing their stunning designs, I knew I had to give them a try. I’m so glad I did because the chef/owner was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to bring my vision to life. Not only did the design turn out amazing, but she also worked with me on pricing, had a quick turnaround, and the cake itself was absolutely delicious. We all loved it!“

“We love Half Baked! We discovered it, ironically enough, just months before I was diagnosed with Celiac in 2016. Luckily, they have gluten free options a plenty. Of all the gluten free bakeries nearby, they were THE most affordable for wedding cakes. We collaborated with Natalie who was with us from day one. She is wonderful - so understanding and supportive. Half Baked's execution of our vision onto 3 elegant cakes was lovely and classy. The GF spice with cream cheese was the best - our very favorite! There were some unfortunate issues with the other two cakes, but Natalie assisted us thoughtfully and ultimately provided us with an ample solution. We have loved Half Baked since we discovered them. We highly recommend them for events or anytime, especially if you need delicious gluten free options that won't break the bank!“

“Great place to get ice cream. Always friendly and willing to help.Had an issue with a milkshake today, feel it had a much lower amount than normal. Normally it's to the brim, not sure why it was so low. Perhaps the ice cream was melted more than normal. No issue, both of the workers working the afternoon shift were attentive, understood my concerns and worked out a remedy for me. Very much appreciated! “It was my first time here, and this place was pretty busy. A lot of people were picking up cakes and buying cakes like the mango cake that was freshly made.
It's not too big on the inside, and there was only one lady who was helping everyone. They had a special going on, but 5 get one free.
I purchased a bunch of snacks for me and the family. One of my favorites is the pineapple cookie, which has actual pineapple on the inside. They had sponge cakes and peanut/ sesame candy. They also had bbq bun, which is always a go-to. They also had a mochi walnut cake that was delicious.“

“We found this cute cafe on Google and it was just what we wanted. A perfect place for a low-key cup of coffee and delicious pastry on a Saturday morning with a friend ( my daughter:-). Just FYI, there are only a couple of tables inside, and the parking lot is small and shared, but there is street parking. Arbi the owner was really nice and our almond croissants and lattes hit the spot. I work in Glendale and will definitely stop in again.“

I parked in the lot on the side, most of the spots are 15 min only so I would try to find a parking spot in the lot other than the street. We got a triple with pistchio cucumber and Turkish coffee. All different and intriguing flavors. definitely get the unique flavors as opposed to your standard chocolate chip since you can get that anywhere.“

“This shop is a few blocks from our house so we frequent it often while walking our dog. They have always been friendly and professional. I have only had great experiences there. My daughter seems to think they are stingy with the sprinkles but she is also seven years old.“

The store-front is a cafe that belongs to a different business that is partnering with this baker. You have to go inside and let them know you are there to pickup your cake. “Google searched and found this Baskin Robbins. It was very easy to find and had plenty of parking. Our server Pauline was pleasant and helpful. She gave us her thoughts on a few flavors we were considering and offered us samples too! The wild n reckless sherbert was what my husband decided to go with, it has a sweet and sour kick! If that's what you're going for, give this flavor a try. The place was very clean and not crowded. I've now got a Pasadena Baskin Robbins location to visit when I'm in town.
