“The Korean side dishes are very good. I usually am not a big fan of kimchi, but theirs is fantastic. Soups are amazing bbq is also so so good. They prepare the BBQ not a self cook. Portions seemed generous as well. Though a smaller restaurant in strip mall decor is very nice.“

I’d also encourage the owners to engage with their Google reviews and hear the feedback, because it’s clear people want them to succeed. The food is already delicious, and with a few thoughtful tweaks, they could easily be a five star spot.

The fried chicken sandwich was a standout. Juicy, tender, full of flavor, and balanced perfectly with honey butter and light mayo. The bun held up, and the whole thing felt intentional, like someone cooked it with care. Honestly, one of the best chickens I’ve had anywhere. The bibimbap was also clean and comforting, no strange flavors, just solid balance. But the portion was small. I got both dishes thinking I’d have lunch and dinner, and ended up finishing the bibimbap quickly because there weren’t enough vegetables to round it out. For a dish that usually shines because of its mix and volume, that part felt underwhelming.

The meal came to $35.01 for take out, which isn’t bad for the quality, but the value didn’t fully match the flavor. A little more generosity with the portions, especially the vegetables or the slaw in the sandwich, would make a real difference. Still, the care shows, and I’d come back for that chicken in a heartbeat.“

And the food is absolutely delicious I couldn't believe I spent under $20 for such a wonderful design of takeout box it was beyond expectation like seriously, the only problem is probably the portion is not as much as I want . “Came here recently and really enjoyed the hearty, flavorful soup—it had the perfect amount of spice and richness, with fresh ingredients like tofu, green onions, and tender shredded meat. It felt like true comfort food and was definitely the highlight of the meal for me.

“The BBQ + RICE at this location is excellent. I’ve been to other branches, like the one on Sunset in Hollywood, that were honestly disappointing, with dry tofu, dry meat, and low-quality vegetables. This place is consistently good. The environment is nice, especially with the Sunset vibe. I do wish the seats were a bit larger, though the benches are comfortable. Overall, the food quality here is always great. I’ve never had a bad experience, and you really can’t beat the price.“

I got the spicy mayo chicken bowl and the chicken was juicy with a crispy batter. The sauce was really spicy which I loved and it went great with their house made pickles! Rice was perfectly cooked and soaked up all the sauce. I also got a side of their kimchi and it was good not as spicy as I like my kimchi but it had a good brine and crisp flavor and was a perfect combination with the spicy chicken.

Overall I will be coming back and am very happy that they’re a quick walk from my job!“

“This used to be one of my go-to restaurants when I lived in the Sunland area. It's a shame I can't visit as often since I moved away. We had a meal here with three families, and we made a reservation beforehand, which was a good idea—otherwise, we would have had to wait. They gave us a large table in the center, which was perfect for our group. Even with so many of us, everyone was able to order what they liked, and the adults shared a large galbi-jjim (braised short ribs).

The food is consistently delicious, and the owner is always so kind. It never disappoints. If you're missing a taste of authentic Korean food, I highly recommend this place!“

The downsides are that the service is not necessarily always fast (it’s a bit slow like they were understaffed), though they’re always very nice, and the ambiance is lacking. I think this place could benefit by turning the lights down by like 20% so you can actually see the music videos they show on the projector. The food is amazing and delicious, huge portion, and haven’f been disappointed by anything on the menu yet. The Budae Jjigae and Crab Kimbap are a few favorites. This is my favorite hole in the wall spot, and I’m torn between wanting it to blow up because they deserve it and wanting to keep it a secret so I can get my same booth every time I go. There’s also free 90 minute parking at the parking garage down the street.“

“The food was amazing! I came here with my parents and dogs, we were able to sit in the patio with our two golden retriever’s in the shade. They also have seating indoors which is very cozy.

My parents loved the breakfast and I really enjoyed my mint lemonade. We ordered an Americano, coffee, mint lemonade, a muffin, almond danish, bibimbap(+egg), chilaquiles, 2x2x2, and a side of sweet potato fries which came out to a total of about $~$110 including tip.

“Homemade kimchi, homemade stews, unlimited banchan stations ala Sizzler style, warm and sincere and attentive service, big comfy booths, and headache-free to park at (it's in a strip mall!) and get to compared to the dense traffic of neighboring Koreatown. Apparently this is an original, history-making spot way ahead of its time. And people may come for the all you can eat KBBQ, but straight up I come for the AYCE banchan and Korean dishes that feel like I'm back at home with mom.“

The soft serve has a perfect texture (I tried the Pure Milk flavor with a Taiyaki on top, the Taiyaki being filled with Nutella), the service is quick and efficient, and the store was crowded when my two friends and I went on a Saturday evening. The ambiance is great too, there are so many pictures showing what the options are like, and there are clearly-illustrated menus spread throughout the restaurant. The toppings are available for the customers to grab and add to their ice cream as they wish, and everything, from the Oreo crumbs to the Banana chips are great. “Under new ownership and already such a difference. I stopped by last night and had a FANTASTIC meal. I ordered the snapper and catfish meal with two sides. The fish was tender and perfectly seasoned and the colored greens and string beans were amazing. Perfectly seasoned and nice and hot. They give you two sauces and two slices of bread as well if you want to make a sandwich. It’s inexpensive and the customer service was excellent. I can tell lots of love has already gone into this place and will as the new owners settle in. Looking forward to stopping here regularly!“

“AJ Noodles first-timer here and it was simply amazing. Their egg rolls were crunchy and delicious, but their steak pho was the star of the show! The broth was so clean and tasty, I can tell they put a lot of care into making the soup. I will say, it is a little different from your average vietnamese pho, but it has its own charm and still very good. Service was quick and I appreciate the lady for offering me hot water during the chilly evening. Will be coming back!“

I did see some low ratings due to service in the past, but we have been multiple times, and the service has been great each time! Plenty of parking in the lot. This is our go to boba spot!“

In the few times I’ve come to All that Shabu, twice (in different visits) we were given meat that was red and blood-like. It wasn’t pleasant. And the other time, one of the meat options was all fat and had a speck of meat. I’m not sure, do they not check the meat slices before sending the out? I feel like the staff should check the quality beforehand.“
