“The most mid burger. My dad could grill a better burger and for a tenth of the price! Took like half an hr to get our burgers, def not worth the wait. 10 dollars for a small flavorless burger. Dont get me started on fries that tasted like the were cooked in oil that has never been changed before. Not worth at all. Biggest flop“

“I had the food delivered via Uber Eats, a really good burger, the original double crispy burger, packaging was top notch, I also got the half and half onion rings and fries. Onion rings were perfect, the fries were decent enough, one improvement could be a seasoning option like Cajun. Very satisfied for what I got for the price considering how expensive everything is these days.“

“The food here is amazing, I come here every day and I try something new constantly and it’s always delicious. The chicken caesar brussel salad and the chicken deluxe sandwich are great.

“This is the original Burger Lounge and I highly recommend it for an amazing, healthy hamburger. I have been fortunate to have them walking distance to my office from day one! They have great salads and shakes, too. Great to eat there or take out!!!“

“Chef Felix and family put together an excellent meal. Every. Single. Day.I've been going here for 4+ years and am still going back. Everytime Chef curates, weekly, a menu and will even still make you almost anything you can cook on a skillet. From flatbreads, to home made soups, and a Cubano I would fight you for, they make a bit of everything.¡Provecho!“

“I would not normally take time to leave a review (let alone a positive one) for a hospital cafe, but this place was a little oasis in the middle of a tough day of appointments. Great coffee, solid breakfast fare and the staff were very nice.“
“Tried La Jolla Boba for the first time and overall had a good experience. The staff members provided quick service while keeping their friendly attitude when they served our drinks. I ordered the Strawberry Matcha and the Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie. The Strawberry Matcha provided a nice drinking experience because its matcha taste stayed delicate as it combined with strawberry flavors. The Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie was also good, creamy and refreshing.
The drinks maintained a consistent quality and the prices were reasonable at $7.50 each for the regular size. The shop was empty during my visit so I experienced complete silence while I relaxed there. A nice perk is that they vouch for parking, which makes stopping by more convenient in La Jolla.“

“This place had been on my bucket list to try and I was shocked to discover we’ve had one on the UCSD campus this whole time. If you’re coming here from outside the institution, just watch out and park in V Spaces.
In regards to the food, I really liked the fries and the onion rings inside of the burger were good. They also had some fancy pure cane sugar soda fountain and I loved their coke replacement. I think this place can really stand out for its variety of plant based snacks and quick eats. The burger itself had quality ingredients, but I couldn’t get past the aftertaste of the burger. That “beefy” patty tasted off to me and while it’s not so disgusting that it’ll make me waste food but I would definitely reconsider getting any of the burgers. I mean try it, but set your expectations a little lower so you aren’t as disappointed, especially at 17 bucks😭.
That being said, Onion Rings, Fries, Oatmilk Softserve, Coffee, Cane Sugar Soda, Cane Sugar Iced Refreshers are allll the strongest things this place has to offer. Seriously give it a try if you haven’t and check out that plant based lifestyle🦎
