“We've been here a couple of times lately and enjoyed it both times. We also love the little shop where you can find so many goodies from England. On Easter Sunday I tried the Sunday dinner which was pretty delish. My husband has the fish and chips and said the fish was great but the chips were soggy. If they would have been crispy it would have been a 10 out of 10. I love the atmosphere which does make you feel like you're in England. We will definitely be back.“

“We stopped by on a Thursday evening after badminton with a group. It was amazing. I don’t eat a lot of fried food, but this didn’t taste heavy like most fried food. The fish tasted fresh. They had fried zucchini which was a really nice addition.“

“If you are looking for fresh seafood with a fun casual atmosphere I have the spot for you! The Fish Shop has been serving their customers for over 14 years and they definitely know what they are doing. I love how you can customize your own sandwiches, plates and tacos with their signature seasonings and sauces. They even have three locations that all have dog, friendly patios and a $5 corkage fee! Onion rings: thick and perfectly battered?Clam chowder: rich and creamy loaded with clams? Fish and chips: super crispy with tender flakey cod? Seabass sandwich: my go to sandwich with garlic butter, tartar sauce, red onions? Elote taco: grilled mahi mahi, cilantro white sauce, cabbage, roasted corn? TKO taco: grilled mahi mahi, white sauce, cabbage, tropical salsa“

“YUM!! My friend and I drove 6 hours and this was the first place we stopped for food. Really cute outside area and we split a delicious medium buffalo chicken pizza and had just enough food. Service was excellent, couldn't have asked for a better first stop in San Diego!“

“Good food and nice sized portions. You order at the counter and find seats. Lots of outdoor seating available to soak up the wonderful weather. We went to afternoons in a row. From the snapper sandwich with blacked seasoning to the poke bowl, everything was fresh and tasty.“

“This place is awesome! Fantastic fresh food, great drinks, and amazing service. Bartender/server was super friendly and attentive. We went back a few times on our vacation. Food was reasonably priced and fresh! Drinks were well crafted and also affordable. I highly recommend the bottomless mimosas and the cocktail flights. “Came here for brunch on the weekend. Made reservations ahead, but place was not very full when we arrived. There are lawn games in the front but opted to eat inside. Started with the honey lavender scones and scotch egg. Scones were a bit smaller than normal but were tasty with the clotted cream and jam provided. Scotch egg was flavorful and came with a whipped butter. Fish and chips came with a sizeable piece of battered fish which went well with the condiments. I had a beet salad that was colorful and delicious. Plenty of different beets and enjoyed the textures of the pomegranate seeds and hazelnuts. Service was prompt and our waiter was nice and helpful.Parking: Plenty of free parking available“

“I love this place for lunch time. I am limited on what I can say about the food here. Because I always order the Shrimp and Avocado Salad. I love it. The shrimp has really good seasoning to it. The avocados can be a hit and miss on how they look. But still, they taste good. The Kale is fresh and has a nice crunch to it. I recommend the olive oil on it. It is healthier, and pairs well. I will come back again and review other dishes. Here is the Con portion. The restaurant uses self ordering computers. So you do not pay a person. Unless the line gets long. Often, there is a person to assist you, if there any questions. I can see how this could intimidate people that are not computer literate. Also, there are no servers. So don't expect to get checked on. It's more of a cafeteria style. The restaurant is always clean and you are welcomed when you come in. There is also an outdoor seating option.“

“I stopped for the lobster roll. I should have chosen another place. Service was with a smile and welcoming. The lobster roll was frustrating. It was stuffed full with salad on the bottom, way too much aioli on top which left no way to eat it without a fork- which wasn’t offered. The sprinkling of lobster on the top kept falling off. It wasn’t flavored bad but definitely not a traditional lobster roll. The fries were nicely crispy. The ambiance is pure tourist chaos.I would try someplace else“
