“Came here with a buddy to celebrate his promotion. Got the executive meat plate since we'd never tried the steaks here before. The best for me was the dry aged filet mignon followed by the dry aged ribeye. Lamb lollipops were great snack while we waited for the main course. Drinks were a little bit pricey, but the old fashioned had a proper fat wash and the flavor was superb. Overall it was a fun spot for a special occasion and certainly one of the premium steak houses in San Diego to get dry aged cuts.“

The whiskey flights did not disappoint either. Our waiter treated us like family and the entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable. “I actually enjoying my dining experiences at the Chula Vista Black Angus location. The staff is VERY friendly, and its not just your server, but it includes the front staff as well as the bussing and cleaning staff. Each stops by with a great smile, warm voice and asks if there is anything they we need, a refill, more bread anything. The food comes out fairly quick and fresh. My steaks are perfectly cooked and seasoned and plated very well. I highly recommend the Chula Vista location, for the dining experience, but the outdoor surrounding area (which they have no control over) isn't the best, but its ok.“

“We hadn't been to Black Angus for many, many years. On a whim we decided to go check it out due to wanting a good steak. We had reservations and were seated right away. Our server Laura was absolutely fantastic. She was polite, patient, and informative. She checked on our table many times. We received our food in a very timely manner and it was exactly what was ordered. Steak was perfectly cooked, lobster was delicious. Overall this turned out to be a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back soon.“
