“Our party of 20 came in on Christmas Eve and they were able to accommodate us. The food was definitely made with love. Sushi, bento box and ramen was phenomenal!! Jamal was so welcoming, asked if we wanted recommendations and we did .. we ordered what he recommended and it was amazing! everything was filling. we ordered the crimson (medium) & joey eat fries (mild) . i don’t do spicy, so medium was a bit much for me, so i would advise mild if you’re like me. The dressings and pickles helped me! also overall A+ definitely coming back!“

“We appreciated the service. The teriyaki bowl was good and so was the Chicken Alfredo Pasta. We also ordered the Original Fried Chicken, but we didn't like it. It had a weird taste from a seasoning that we're not familiar with. We tried adding sauces and salt, but we couldn't eat much of it. Unless your familiar with it, know it tastes different from the regular fried chicken from other places.“

“Love going to Dave's Hot Chicken! Today they messed up a little and gave me Medium instead of Mild so I decided to try it hehe It was pretty good a little hot but very tasty. Always when I go to this location Juila most of time is there and she was today also and is always very friendly and helpful! We had placed an online order and he was fast and accommodating. Our food was hot, accurate, and delicious. We loved the vibe and the atmosphere here a lot more than our closest location.“

“DEFINITELY CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!!!!!
I ordered the half chicken combo which included three side items. The chicken itself is super juicy and delicious. For my side items, I got a double side of potato salad and rice and they too were mouth watering. The person who waited on us was an extremely pleasant man who turned out to be the owner. He gave me a brief history on the restaurant which I found to be very interesting. Owning a successful food establishment requires a lot of work. Having to change up your menu items and re decorate the dining room every couple years sounds like a huge challenge. I will definitely be back in the future to try one of their Korean entrees. Did I mention that the other half of the menu is Korean food? Extremely diverse menu!!!!!!!“

The place was really busy, but the staff was very attentive and efficient. They did a great job getting orders out in s timely manner. Our food came out in a reasonable time and the order was correct. The food was also hot and just delicious.“

“First time trying Dave's Hot Chicken! The food wasn't bad, the chicken was pretty juicy. Medium wasn't that spicy but the food was definitely made fresh! The fried were super hot and crispy when they came out, as well as the chicken. Overall, the food was pretty good.“

“This was a really great place, with the food being aweome for a few reasons:
1. The employees and owner were super cordial and very professional.
2. The food was very excellent; with the powered cheese fries being so creative, and I couldn't get over them. Its like powered popcorn, but potato fires, super weird, super creative. I loved it. The chicken was also very awesom, I recommend the secret sauce.
3. The place was clean, had cool shows and music broadcasting with aesthetics that fit for this establishment.
Overall, This place is a Must Be when passing by. You will not be disappointed.

By the way, not sure why some people are giving this place low star's; I've grown up in bad, to good area's, so I know a thing or two, and know that this must be down bad people with a bit of money, or bad attitudes, and just want a free meal or hate on people doing good. At first I thought the place was sketchy at first but most good places do lol Franchise chicken places hardly have any meat on their chicken and the grocery stores always make their chicken too salty. TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAME HERE! Went here one day for a chicken plate and the pieces had plenty of meat, hardly greasy, lightly seasoned, and overall tasted like good ol home cooking 🤤. Just came here again to try their fish and shrimp and again, it was excellent. Most fish and shrimp places drown their fish in thick bread-like batter that makes you feel sick in a few bites. Here however, the fish and shrimp are fried in a seasoned thin peppery flour mix, basically a thin batter 🤤. I don't think I can go anywhere else for fried chicken and fish. JUST BE SURE TO AIR OUT THE FOOD TO LET IT COOL DOWN WHEN YOU GET IT!! YES! ITS THAT FRESH! AND THAT GOOD!“

“Toyitos is a jewel in the city of Downey. Best Rotisserie Chicken around. I love Chicken with fries and Salchipapas( sliced hotdogs and fries). The chicken has special peruvian flavor and peruvian sauces. Don’t forget the ice cream Lucuma flavor, and the peruvian soda Inka “

I had the smash burger and she had the chicken sandwich; both were delicious and the fact that they offer sweet potato fries is a plus. Extra points for the ranch, which was some of the best I’ve had and I never have ranch with anything.

Bartender didn’t have what I wanted but suggested an alternative and we both liked it.
