“Chase’s has some seriously impressive food. The Brussels sprouts, jalapeños, and mushrooms we ordered were all standout dishes—fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with skill. The menu has a lot to love, and it’s easy to see why people keep coming back for the food.

Service-wise, it wasn’t terrible, just a bit inconsistent. Our server was pleasant but seemed stretched thin, and there were some delays with check-ins and follow-ups. Nothing major, but it did take away slightly from the overall experience.

Still, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit. If they tighten up the service just a bit, this place could easily be a five-star favorite.“

“We sat outside ìn the patio area. Our server was friendly and patient giving us time to chat and browse the menu. Everyone enjoyed their meal, drinks and my water glass was kept full as our server kept an eye on us always checking to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend the Twisted Sage Cafe.“

Big fat ZERO for the manager who was too busy flirting with the hostesses to care that guests who were told the wait was 20 minutes were still waiting after 50 minutes and we would have gone elsewhere if they gave a crap and told us it would be a long wait. So... Once we finally got seated after almost an hour's wait, Philip saved the night with great service and attentiveness. (It was a birthday for my friend, and I told the hoelstesses, but the front desk didn't tell the server about the birthday so no birthday dessert for my friend) 😞

The hostess service and manager really could have been better. At one point there was a group of 5 or 6 employees (including the manager) at the front hostess station with a CROWD of waiting guests. It was not a good look because it looked like they were loafing around while guests were waiting and waiting and waiting. They didn't offer us an alternative seating location (outside) after we had been waiting double the time they said the wait was. Not sure I'll be back for a little while ... They wasted my time and I didn't like the lack of care or communication.“

“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. I love the food I love the service, the place is very clean. The service is topnotch. They are very helpful in teaching you what the food is about also the portions are very generous. They was a mixed falafel sandwich that I had was about a foot-long and had many layers of flavor that is unmatched with any other falafel sandwich I've ever had. I also ordered the chicken Shawarma plate and needless to say is just as delicious as the falafel sandwich every time I go there I make sure to try something new. I have not been steered wrong or regretted any new adventure on their menu. There is a wide variety of foods if you're very picky there is something there for you to eat if you're vegan or vegetarian there is a lot of options for you. I recommend this place. “I thought the veggie omelette was really good and our server was kind and helpful! They accommodated our party of 6 for lunch right away (on a Saturday) by quickly pulling some tables together outside, which was nice. We actually did get lucky with parking but yeah, the spots were few and far between. I think the one thing that was kind of shocking about Ed’s was that they charge $4 extra for a side of fruit and it was much less fruit than I’d anticipated for that price. I wish I’d known, I would’ve just stuck with one of the regular sides. Also instead of the veggie, the server handed me an omelette with meat in it that belonged to someone else at the table. She was very apologetic, no harm, no foul. I’d just recommend double checking things, especially if you have a specific diet or allergens to watch out for. But other than that, the food really did hit the spot! Perfectly cooked omelette, pancakes were a major hit at our table, and the burger was apparently really delicious!“

“There was a 30 minute wait on a Thursday at 11:00am. It is not a very big place. They do have outdoor seating. Super friendly and helpful staff. They anticipate needs with a smile. The food is really good!

The standout - banana nana pancakes - wow these are amazing ! Piping hot deliciousness. Pancakes smothered in sliced banana and a syrupy sauce. So good you have to try and it’s huge!

The lot so great - biscuit and gravy. Biscuit not fluffy or moist. Very dry. Gravy pretty good.

I've now forgotten the wheat ale I ordered, but it was local and it was good. The brisket sandwich I ordered was outstanding. We must have hit the bartender at a bad moment because when we arrived he didn't seem too keen on our arrival. When I asked what beer was new or something he could recommend, he kind of blew me off. Thought it kind of odd. But, he did come around and grew pretty chill as our lunch progressed. Chalk it up to a bad moment that I don't think had anything to do with us. All in all, I like the Rookery; hanging out on the back patio with a microbrew and a sandwich was exactly what I was looking for.“

“What a blast! This is a fantastic golf destination with two great layouts to keep things interesting. The South Course is a real treat, long, challenging, but fair, with generous fairways that give you room to swing confidently. It’s a great test without being punishing. Then there’s the North Course, which is a ton of fun in its own right. It’s shorter, more laid-back, and perfect for a relaxed round. Fewer water hazards mean you can stay aggressive and focus on your short game. Both courses offer something unique, and I’d happily tee it up here any day!“
