“Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.“

“Pretty solid spot for a quick meal. Signature potato noodles were chewy with that numbing spicy broth, I kept fishing out the potato slices. Added a few fried skewers on the side, crunchy and salty, and they pack everything neatly for pickup, tbh that helps.“

“First time trying the Chinese burger at Miss Sichuan . The rou jia mo was so good, honestly one of the best I’ve had. The bread was thin and crispy on the outside, soft inside, and the pork was super flavorful and juicy without being greasy. Every bite had that perfect balance of savory, tender, and just a little bit of spice. It tasted fresh, filling, and really comforting at the same time. If you’ve never tried a Chinese burger before, this is a great place to start , I’d definitely come back for this again. 5 stars for sure.“

“Their dumplings are so flavorful and their prices are so affordable! I always order the pork xiao long baos and also recommend the pan fried pork dumplings, any of the wonton dishes, and the cucumber salad! Out of their dessert buns I like their sesame buns the best, then the sweet custard, then the red bean. I don't order them as much because I get too full on savory dumplings, but really recommend getting them if you have room.

They usually don't have any music playing, but the foos comes out so fast that I don't mind the silence in the restaurant, which is only the case when no other patrons are seated.

Xiao Long Bao - so juicy, so flavorful, perfect amount of filling. I love these so much and they are definitely my favorite dish from here! 10/10

Pan Fried Pork Dumplings - very juicy for a pan fried dumpling, but somehow still so crispy! 9.5/10

Wonton Soup - I prefer their wonton soup over their spicy ones because it's much more flavorful with the broth! 9/10

Dan Dan Noodles - so flavorful, packed with meat, great sharing dish! I always order it if I'm eating with 3+ others 9/10

Cucumber Salad - Love how the cucumbers aren't too vinegar tasting as I don't enjoy pickle flavors much, but definitely add some soy sauce and chili oil to make the dish even tastier 8.5/10

Spicy Wontons - I wish there was more flavor added than just spicy for their spicy wontons, and their not as spicy as I would like 8/10“

“Savory Corner is the real deal. Free-range chicken is silky, tender, and full of flavor. Rice is fragrant and not greasy. Their beef stew noodle soup is also incredible — rich broth, melt-in-your-mouth beef.

Service is superb. The staff remembers us regulars and always surprises us with free herbal drinks. Makes you feel like family.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Always planning my next visit though we have to drive from West Hollywood. It was so addicting that I must try to eat there every weekend.

“Almost gave up on trying to like Pho, but this place just made me realize all the other places I’ve been too were simply mediocre. I got the brisket pho and it was AMAZING. My wife also tried the Shrimp with Vegan broth (she’s pescatarian) and also loved hers.

“Absolutely obsessed with this restaurant! It’s my go-to whenever I’m in the Walnut area and need a guaranteed delicious meal. Let’s talk about the Hainanese chicken - it’s a revelation. The texture is unbelievably tender and smooth, not a bit rubbery. You can tell it’s made with care. The chicken skin has a lovely, subtle gelatinous quality, and when you pair it with the fragrant rice and the incredible house-made chili and ginger scallion sauces… it’s just perfection. Don’t sleep on their other dishes, either. The potato noodles come in a massive, steaming clay pot with a soup base that’s both spicy and deeply flavorful. The fried buns are golden, crispy little clouds of goodness. The atmosphere is super casual and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly. Honestly, for the quality and portion size, the price is a steal. This is a true neighborhood treasure, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!“

“This little mom-and-pop noodle shop was such a great find! We stumbled in right around 8:30 PM, just before they closed, and ended up being the last ones there.
​Their noodles were honestly delicious. I mean, my nephew, who is notoriously picky, even complimented the shrimp noodle! The dandan noodles were a touch too salty for my personal taste, but everyone else absolutely loved them.
​Even though it was late, the service was great. We never felt rushed. I'm definitely going to be coming back whenever a noodle craving hits!“

“They make authentic Guilin rice noodles here. So you order the noodles through the QR code and you can get the condiments to add to the bowl. We had the Golden Broth Beef Brisket Rice Noodles and Premium Signature Noodles. Added a fried egg and Secret Recipe Braised Tofu. Quick service and would return.“

“I was really hyped about this place opening to add to the variety of Korean food around Chino Hills. Soonheene is very popular in South Korea which led me to add this place to my must try list of restaurants, they're known for their amazing street food and it didn't disappoint at all.

Staff were incredibly quick, attentive, and were very friendly in all aspects. Parking is plentiful, clean restroom, and a moderate amount of seating inside the restaurant. The interior is well maintained and just has good vibes when entering, there's also a TV on the wall that plays many variety shows to express just how popular this place is in South Korea.

1. We ordered their signature Tteokbokki and it comes in a decent amount of portions, a great shareable dish and very flavorful when it comes to the mix of sauce, rice cake, and fish cake. There's also a rose version which I also recommend. The Tteokbokki were savory and also not hard to crunch on, cooked perfectly and very enjoyable and addicting.

2. Another must try item is the Mayak Gimbap, comes in 8 pieces, another shareable dish. It's also very well made, with a mix of meat and vegetables, a decent appetizer to the main course.

3. The Oden Fish Cake Soup is also a classic street food signature dish to try. Highly recommend if you're a fan of fish cake, comes in a stick form which is a easy pick-me-up type food. Not too salty and is flavorful as well.

4. The Roasted Kimchi Pork Belly was the main dish we had as a shareable. I cannot fathom how well made this dish is made. The pork belly is super savory, chewy, and flavorful, mixes well with all the side garnishes and sauces.
Overall, Soonheene is definitely a good place for many occasions, dates, take out, and moderate size groups.

Plenty of staff to serve but it is a bit chaotic...rather hit and misss on the opportunity to follow up with our need for additional napkins and to have them fulfill additional beverage requests...we had to make multiple requests before they delivered the items. They need to better organize who serves and who runs food and who takes care of cashier, etc. May help to better streamline service. Otherwise place is good with plenty of seating...tables were clean and most of the staff were reasonably professional and friendly. There are TVs on a few walls and they had baseball tuned in for the evening.“

Ginkgo Chinese Restaurant has become one of those places for me. The food is consistently good, the service is always welcoming, and after a while it starts to feel less like a restaurant and more like a familiar stop in my week.

“Been here a few times. I’ve only tried the pho and bahn mi. The first time I had the bahn mi it was amazing. I remember specifically remarking on how delicious and fresh the baguette was. I recently went back for another bahn mi sandwich and was so disappointed. They used stale baguettes for our sandwiches. It was so dry that as we tried to eat, our sandwiches fell apart. Never experienced old baguette on a bahn mi before, def would not recommend. Such a bummer because it’s close by and everything else was good. Maybe it was an off day. Food is heavily seasoned and flavored, on the salty side and price is not low, but well cooked like a street vendor, with the wok flavoring. “I was in town and looking for a new place to try. Thanks to Yelp, I found Noodlemii nearby. We headed over for a weekend dinner and didn't have to wait long for our group of two.

We tried a variety of their menu items, including the black pepper udon ($12), yellow curry ($11), beef skewers ($6.50), and a Thai iced tea ($3.50). Food came out pretty timely and everything was really good! Good portion sizes too.

Bonus points for being part of the Diamond Bar Open Rewards program. Good amount of parking in a shared plaza. Will be back to try more of their noodle dishes next time!“

“Officially me and my husbands favorite place for pho! When we first came in through the door I was amazed at how beautiful and clean the dining area was. Immediately as we enter we are welcomed and told to sit anywhere we'd like by the server. Within 20-30 seconds, the server brings us glass of waters and menus for us! It took us a while to order because there was so many different variety of delicious plates. The servers were very sweet and mindful of us. They did not once judge us based on our appearance (I was wearing my work clothes and my husband was wearing his gym outfit). “This family-owned business usually never disappoints. We love the veggie pho because the broth is vegetable based, not chicken stock. The vegetables are always cooked to perfection and the portions are decent. On our last dining experience, we ordered the vegetable dumplings which came out very quickly. At first bite, I realized they were not vegetable but some kind of meat. While the place was busy, we couldn't find anyone to flag down fast enough before they delivered the correct order because the first one was chicken dumplings. “I was curious about this place, so I walked past it to check out their menu before heading to our fave dim sum spot in Walnut/City Of Industry (All That n Dim Sum). Sadly, they’re closed on Tuesdays. Decided to come back here since they looked busy. At first, there were plenty of seats, but when I went back, only 2 seats way in the back were open. We went with the lunch specials, and honestly, best decision ever. I got Combo D—fried chicken steak and noodle soup, plus preserved veggies. My partner had Combo C—fried pork chop with dry noodles. Both were amazing! I loved the noodle soup, but the dry noodles were just as good. Both are classic Taiwanese comfort foods and the lunch specials also come with tea! Definitely recommend this spot if you’re craving some tasty, hearty dishes!

Long, service staff, was friendly and attentive to customers.

Van Huynh, restaurant owner & chef, has a great personality and cooks delicious Vietnamese foods. Dishes includes pho, broken rice, vermicelli, Chinese noodle soup, chow fun & mein, congee, Banh mi, Vietnamese deserts, milk shakes, and smoothies; all at a reasonable price. She took her time to greet me and even strike a pose for a photo which is posted on her Google map restaurant. Thank you Van!

The restaurant has nice decorations, clean, well lit, and well air conditioned on this warm day.
