“Seven of us (5 adults, 2 kids) went here for a birthday brunch. Our server was so friendly and good at pacing the ordering and serving of the drinks and food. He was also very kind and friendly to our 2 grandkids. The food was all delicious - best eggs Benedict I have had. He wished our son a happy birthday and brought him a delicious chocolate pudding with whipped cream for dessert along with enough spoons that we could all have a taste. Batch & Brine is one of our favorite restaurants in the Lamorinda area.”

“My partner and I just went for the first time - it will be our new typical date night spot! The reviews were great so we thought we’d check it out - we were pleasantly surprised by the immediate seating at 630PM on a Saturday, and the decor was nice. We ordered the gyozas, miso soup, California roll, rainbow roll, and dynamite rolls and they were all fantastic and beautifully presented. The owner of the restaurant also dropped off a complimentary appetizer (mushrooms) and dessert (chocolate ice cream). Overall, fantastic hospitality and very good fish. We will be back!”

I don’t understand why there’s bad reviews because it doesn’t reflect what I’ve had here. There’s just one guy serving tables here, so service can take a bit when they’re busy. But it’s worth it. Don’t miss out because you see a few bad reviews. In the Bay Area over all, most Chinese food tastes so watered down and lacks flavor. This place is great.”

A little odd that we were charged $3 for an extra plate to split a burger for my kid (apparently this is stated in the menu). Overall good but probably will not visit again.”

“A cute coffee shop with a primo spot in Fiesta square in Lafayette. Really close to five Little monkeys toy store. I can imagine coming here after shopping for toys.to get a bagel with cream cheese and a juice!
I ordered the gone banana protein shake that was rather sweet and had 24 gms of protein. Kinda too sweet. Raisin bagel was perfect chewy toasted. Overall a good place to pick up a quickie bite.”

“Enjoy coming to yogurt shack in the heart of Danville. Great variety of yogurt flavors and toppings. The owners staff with mostly high school youth. Looks like an excellent first job and the kids seem to not only enjoy working there but are very friendly and helpful. I love that it is conveniently located next to primos. “Cozy, family owned cafe, that I cannot recommend enough if you’re in town or passing through Lafayette. You will not find any place with better freshly baked scones on this side of the tunnel. They are baked every morning, and if you come in early enough, they might still be warm. Each batch comes out with the most perfect fluffy interior, with a crisp exterior crust. No hockey pucks here! The photo doesn’t do it justice because I couldn’t hold back eating it before posting. The chai tea is a house made blend, with all organic ingredients. Try it as a latte with a shot of espresso. It’s so much better than the chai syrup concentrated drink you get at Starbucks, and you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. This is the best place to stop by before walking the reservoir, before/after your trader joe’s run, or to sit down and catch up with a friend over coffee or boba tea(also incredibly fresh and chewy boba). Not to mention, it’s a great study spot you can sit and study at all day. They now offer breakfast burritos and sandwiches, which makes this place even better than all the competing chain coffee shops in the area. The owner, Apple, is one of the hardest working people you will ever meet, and so kind and welcoming.”

My favorite dish are the ribs and they are actually the best ribs I’ve ever had. This is the BEST Vietnamese food in the area! 10/10 would recommend, especially at the price!”

“I should have taken a picture, but I scarfed the burrito down so fast! I just wanted to rave about this place and their wonderful customer service. I came in and asked for a simple bean and cheese burrito. I paid and then it occurred to me after to ask what kind of beans they use (I'm 7.5 months pregnant and for whatever reason, only like refried beans.... oh, pregnancy!). He said they only use whole beans. I tried to see if I could get something else for the same price I paid (which he was so nice about), but ultimately decided, "Oh well, I'll just stick with what I ordered!" I went to the bathroom and when I came out, he said, "We are making the beans refried for you now!" I thought that was so nice of them! It was so good too. Definitely recommend this place!!!”

Not greasy, super clean, balanced flavors. Nothing clashes, juicy, and big flavor. And they make their own blue corn tortilla chips and they're complimentary?! Who does that these days? This Chef and family is talented and deserves your hunger and hard earned dollars - IT'S WORTH IT. Enjoy and You're Welcome! Lol”

My only gripe was that the chips were soggy, but it was most likely due to my slow eating and the good conversation with my girlfriend. The definite highlight was the Churrro Waffles, a MUST TRY!”
